We have stayed in 63 Air Bnbs and I must say that Deborah’s is the most luxurious. The interior decor would do well in a magazine. From the plush cushions on the super comfortable sofa, to the beautiful lamps, pictures, vases, and ornaments. We loved all the nods to Scottish culture. The kitchen was well appointed and the dinnerware stunning. The master bedroom was sumptuous. Stunning decor, linen and beautiful styling. The bed was super comfy too. The bathroom is magnificent with shower and jacuzzi bath and so many extra touches. Thank you Deborah for all the hard work you have put into making us feel like royalty! Also for the sandwiches, cake, milk, chips, chocolates. You certainly deserve nothing under 5 stars, and we would give you 10 if we could.

Absolutely ideal for our family of four. 5 minutes from a Tesco for anything you might need. We were also supplied with tea, coffee, milk and sugar which was well needed after a 6 hour car journey! The beds are very comfortable too! We all really enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful location with endless views of the estuary and surroundings - quiet and tranquil, with some buzz in the late afternoon to evening. Lovely home, and very clean and comfortable. Will definetely be back again in the near future. Gemma is very accommodating and helped us with flexible check in and additional days, which was great.

A thoughtful conversion from a boathouse with picture windows allowing great views from the first floor lounge. Very comfortable bed and quality bed linen,pillows etc. Small compact kitchen area had all the essentials and a lovely welcome pack with tea,coffee and milk also left. Paula was friendly and offered local suggestions for places to go. I will return.

Brilliant apartment. Immaculately clean and had everything we needed. We were able to walk 4 mins to silloth golf club from here. Very good restaurant next door. The 2nd bed wasn’t made unfortunately but the host responded quickly to give instructions of where to find the bedding. Would definitely stay here again

We booked quite last minute after deciding we wanted to get away for new year and so glad we found this little gem. Joanne was extremely quick to respond and gave really helpful recommendations of the local area which we utilised. The house is spotless and so cosy! Beds really comfy and it’s so quiet at night, we slept so well! Perfect for me, my partner and our 7 year old who loved the twin room.This home had everything we needed and more, was the perfect base for us but then felt like a home from home in the evening to relax. We ventured to the local pub Harbour Hotel for a drink early evening on New Year’s Eve and everyone was so friendly. We did the coastal path walk and went to the park (2 mins away) which was lovely even in the cold weather and also ventured into Conniston, utilising the Chinese take away in Millom on the way home. We were just gutted we couldn’t utilise the lovely garden area but have said we will come back in the summer to take advantage!Perfect host & home!

We had the most wonderful 2-night stay at Gornal Ground House in the Lake District. The house was absolutely beautiful – full of character, spotlessly clean, and incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect base for exploring the Lakes, and the views were stunning. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt right at home. A truly relaxing getaway – we’d love to return!

We had such a lovely stay, James was very helpful and responsive. The house felt like a home from home and had everything we needed and more. It was the cleanest Air BnB we've stayed in, with the most comfertable bed we've stayed in too! Neighbours were really helpful and friendly. The children loved waving to the horses. The parents loved having a filter coffee with a sea view, it was bliss. We can't wait to stay again, thanks so much!

"We had a wonderful stay at this seaside location with a lovely balcony. The space was clean, and the hosts were very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, the TV was outdated and couldn't support streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, or iPlayer. I would not recommend this place for elderly guests, as there are quite a few steps (as mentioned by the host). Thank you!"

Me and my partner loved staying at Paula’s place, a cosy, clean house which is a good base for exploring the stunning natural surroundings nearby. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area 😊

a gem of a place, the location was ideal for beach walks and exploring the lakes. utility room is perfect for sorting wet clothes and wetsuits post wild swimming. Cosy, comfortable and perfect for a group of 8 (4 adult and 4 children).

We loved it. It was perfectly located for what we wanted to do, the view was amazing from the Patio breakfast and drinks. We were unbelievably lucky with the weather for late September, and didn’t need all the woollens that we had taken. It’s a steep hill to get to the place from the town, but very quickly got used to it. Overall. Super super happy with the place and if we come back to the lakes we would choose to come back here. (For the owners - many apologies for the broken glass, meant to replace but ran out of time).

Cosy cottage with lots of character, in central location. Easy access to shops and sites. Could unload outside cottage, and then go to nearby on street parking. Booked cottage for overnight stay for the Taste of the Sea Festival. Exceeded all expectations when discovered that free breakfast was included at nearby cafe.

Aurelia was really cheerful, warm, approachable and friendly. Her house was very clean, and there was clear instructions for getting in and out. The house is a good location for walking into Dumfries, and we had a really good night. She recommended a festival in Dumfries, which I unfortunately was not able to attend in the end, but it sounded excellent. Thank you to Aurelia for making the stay so comfortable. Nancy

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's place. Me, husband my two boys had plenty of space Sarah made sure we had everything we needed including fresh milk, and snacks on our arrival which was really thoughtful after a long drive. location is amazing as everything is closely co-op is literally across the road and couple more shops which we used to buy fresh ingredients for us to cook at home. There's halal restaurants nearby as well and very reasonable prices. I just wish we had dish washer as I personally don't like washing dishes with hands as with kids we did make use of kitchen. However everything was provided including washing soap so can't fault anything. It was really home away from home and my son already wants to come back. Thank you Sarah & Sean for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment 💕 we will definitely return if in the area again. highly recommend!

Fantastic weekend stay......the flat is accurately described and shown in the photos. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked. Comfy beds, crisp linen and fluffy towels. We ate in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Log burner very welcome as it was typical February weather in the Lakes! Pub at Hill Top very cosy and welcoming. Queen's Head at Hawshead too. We would love to stay again. ...thank you from Emma and party from Thirsk, with Bruno the Doodle!
