Brilliant location within walking distance of tge town center. Onsite parking and located in a very quiet complex. Clean appartment with everything you would need. Would stay again in the future.

Lovely, cosy holiday apartment with comfortable beds, great bed linen and workable cooking facilities. In excellent location, 4 minutes from the railway and bus station and very close to all of the shops and restaurants in the town.

Fantastic stay at Number Four, from our warm welcome by Dave right through to our departure. The home was totally as lovely as described and in photos, clean and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. Ideal location, literally 2 minutes from an array of restaurants, take aways, convenience stores and gift shops. Handy to have a parking space in such a location too! We would definitely return, many thanks Dave and Fiona

We had a great time in Carlisle and Les was a great host. The flat was lovely and comfortable for our family and Les was very quick to respond to any questiond we had - he even brought new batteries for the TV remote within about 15 minutes of us letting him know there was a warning message on the TV. The flat is walking distance from the castle/cathedral/town centre and right by a supermarket so is really convenient. We would definitely recommend it!

We really enjoyed staying at Paul's AirBnB. It was a great location to explore the Lake District from, parking was super easy, and the location was extremely walkable to local pubs and restaurants in central Bowness. Paul was a very responsive host, answering any questions we had promptly, and was also extremely flexible as we did not have a clear sense of when we would be arriving for check-in until several hours prior.

Irina and Chris' place is very comfortable and the location is perfect for a trip to the Lake District - we came by bike and were able to find an easy spot to lock up nearby. great train and bus links, plus some lovely bars and cafés within a few minutes walk. The oven is a bit confusing, but otherwise the kitchen was really well equipped. Irina was really helpful and quick to respond to questions and requests.

we arrived late at night as a stop over for a very long journey from Noerh Scotland to London. it was hard ro find in the dark and the parking was tight but the flat was so so comfy. it was so welcoming, the place had been ade up to our needs so we didn't have to do anything when we arrived late at night. perfect place to stay with dogs. a little welcome box for our dog, crates and dog bowls, treats poo bags. Just ideal and our very anxious dog was very happy here. extremely helpful host. I would absolutely recommend staying here. any issues with the tight parking space were completely dismissed with the hospitality and the comfort we had here.

A short but lovely stay in this very well located accommodation right in the heart of Sedburgh. Everything was welcoming and immaculate with easy parking just a short walk away. Will try to stay longer next time but thank you Nicole for letting us use your cosy flat and leaving us milk and biscuits - Jammy Dodgers 😋

we would certainly stay there again if we decide to walk in that area of Hadrian's wall. It was quiet and peaceful with easy access to all public transportation as well as the town center. the sheep on the hillside were a bonus!

Just a beautiful place to stay. Mark has been busy chipping away at restoring this beautiful mill. It is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, and the perfect starting spot to walk some Wainwrights (Great Mell Fell, Garbarrow and Little Mell Fell). The bed was so comfy and the coffee machine was an added bonus on a morning too. Only a 15 min drive or so from Penrith but has the ‘out in the sticks’ feeling. Mark is a lovely host - thank you so much!

Lovely clean, spacious flat; great location and helpful host. Parking space is small and slightly awkward- we drive a large car and choose to park elsewhere.

My stay with Cate in the little garden house was nothing short of amazing! All the small touches such as a towel/ball for my dog and milk/cookies for myself just made my stay even more welcoming. I will definitely be returning and for anyone else visiting this little treasure you will not be disappointed. Thankyou

We had a lovely stay at Kim’s place with our dog, such beautiful surroundings and ideal location for exploring Keswick! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Absolutely amazing stay!! Me and partner don’t drive but there’s amazing walks and cheap taxis if yu need to go far. The apartment felt like a home it’s so peaceful and clean!! Only down side as someone with curly thick hair is the shower pressure is so bad🥲 but other than that I would 100% come again recommend the stay to everyone and the price is amazing. Ps. Sorry I left in a rush so it’s a little messy I tried to clean but boyfriend made a mess again😂😂 Thank you so much for having us!!!

Both myself and my wife have absolutely fallen in love with this place. The location is ideal—quiet but still close to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. We loved having a peaceful retreat to come back to after a day of exploring. The apartment was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend Dorothy’s Place. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.
