We absolutely loved spending our Mother’s Day weekend at Tethera Nook! Emma and Craig were lovely hosts and were on hand to help if we needed anything during our stay. The home and gardens were beautiful, and we especially loved watching the chickens march around during the day! The welcome gifts were so thoughtful as were the eggs that we were able to help ourselves too for breakfast. We hope to be back again soon, thank you Emma and Craig! x

Had another fantastic weekend at Ruthwaite Farm! Absolutely love the house and we’re already trying to plan when we can next come back! The house had everything you could need for a break away. It was so clean and tidy and everything in it was of really good quality. You can tell thought and care has been put into the design of everything in the house and it is like favourite place to come away to. Plenty of space for adults and kids to roam around. David was fantastic with lots of local recommendations of things for us to do as well and very responsive to any questions we had. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a break in the Lake District and we can’t wait to be back again!

We loved our stay in this house (4 adults and one dog). It’s a great location in walking distance to Keswick and meters away from a lovely park - great for dog walks. The property is well equipped, the kitchen / diner / conservatory space is large and light and there’s plenty of space for everyone. Garden fully secure, perfect for our dog. Keswick is a wonderful base to explore the Lakes, would highly recommend it.

Me and my partner loved staying at Paula’s place, a cosy, clean house which is a good base for exploring the stunning natural surroundings nearby. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area 😊

Lovely house in a peaceful location. Great place to break our journey to the ferry (Cairnryan is a 90 minutes drive away). Comfortable beds and a really well equipped kitchen. Great communication from our hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

This is one of the best airbnb's we have ever stayed in. so comfortable, it was home away from home. Caroline and Phil are the consumate hosts, they have provided everything you can possibly imagine you would need. The kitchen is well equipped with every plate , utensil or whatever you need. wood was provided for the fireplace and made it so cosy sitting in the living area after a big day exploring the Lake district. We are so grateful to Caroline for the welcome pack of goodies to eat and drink, so thoughtful. We were lucky to meet Caroline who gave us some tips for walking in the area, so we had a chance to explore the beautiful little town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely comfortable home, thank you to our hosts.

We had a great time staying. Carolines house is lovely and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Throughout our stay there was a problem with hot tub which was out of Caroline's hands but she made sure to compensate with a meal on her which was very much appreciated. Lots of lovely little touches and gifts around the house. Would definitely come back and see this place in the warmer weather thanks for having us.

Amazing 300+ years old Grade-2 listed house with fantastic feel still retained. On top Joyce and Lucy are amazing hosts. My 6 year old even struck up a great conversation with Lucy and they started playing a board game of sorts :-) They always kept us informed, and ensured the house is kept warm all time. Easily accessible to some local villages, the beach and also just half an hour away from the Lake districts. Only point I will make is if they can offer a small kitchen facility that will be great for families. Having said that -it wasn't a problem at all as beverage, cutlery and crockeries were all provided. Plus free milk, juice etc. And we actually enjoyed some wonderful takeaways who deliver within 30 mins. Jasmine Palace - the chinese was great.

We have stayed in 63 Air Bnbs and I must say that Deborah’s is the most luxurious. The interior decor would do well in a magazine. From the plush cushions on the super comfortable sofa, to the beautiful lamps, pictures, vases, and ornaments. We loved all the nods to Scottish culture. The kitchen was well appointed and the dinnerware stunning. The master bedroom was sumptuous. Stunning decor, linen and beautiful styling. The bed was super comfy too. The bathroom is magnificent with shower and jacuzzi bath and so many extra touches. Thank you Deborah for all the hard work you have put into making us feel like royalty! Also for the sandwiches, cake, milk, chips, chocolates. You certainly deserve nothing under 5 stars, and we would give you 10 if we could.

We had a wonderful stay in Karen's place. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring around Ullswater and we found all the information about local walks really helpful. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Windermere, the flat was spotless and Siobhan was very helpful and responsive to any message. Check in was smooth and the instructions we got to find the flat were excellent! The only thing I would say is the ceilings can be low in places, so for me (5’ 11”) I did find on a few occasions banging my head on the beams, however the cottage was fantastic otherwise, had all the amenities we needed, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and a lovely care package in the fridge for when we arrived.

Wir haben zwei sehr wundervolle Wochen im nördlichen Teil vom Lake District verbracht. Von der Wohnung konnte man viele Locations anfahren. Zum Einkaufen war die Stadt Penrith nicht weit mit dem Auto. Die Wohnung war sauber und es hat alles funktioniert. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, und würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen.

I really enjoyed my stay with Leila. I felt immediately at home and comfortable. Leila was a fantastic host. I definitely recommend Leila's Airbnb for a comfortable and friendly stay in Kendal.

Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful spot. Alan was a great host very friendly quick to text back and even after we messed up our booking he kindly allowed us to stay another night. Fab location for walking and climbing. Pet friendly and exactly what we hoped it would be. Can’t wait to come back!! Five stars *****

We had a great time here. The cabin was perfect and really quiet at night. Great pubs in the village. Can’t wait to go back.

As soon as we confirmed our booking Catherine msseaged us and explained exactly what we needed for a great stay. We went to Gretna Green and walked along Hadrians Wall then returned to eat, drink and relax in the log fired hot tub. The river Eden running directly under the pod made relaxing that bit more enjoyable listening to the water trickle past and looking at the stars. Everything had instructions and the little shop on site had all the little extras like more logs, firelighters and Marshmallows. Perfect for a peaceful getaway with short drives to local attractions. We will happily return for another weekend soon.. Worth every penny!!!

Fantastic location and view, close to the centre of Coniston and plenty of hikes. The pod cottage had everything we needed in a cosy space. A great stay at Mark and Janette’s!
