A very clean, cosy, and charming cottage—actually even more delightful in person than the photos suggest. Peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery make it a perfect getaway. Janice was very helpful and responsive to my questions. Excellent experience! Also the welcoming packet of biscuits worked miracles for getting the children in a very positive mood! Highly recommended.

An absolutely amazing place. We found ourselves at home and with all the convenient amenities required for a great holiday. Very spacious and situated in a perfect location. Above all, Brenda was simply amazing, taking time to explain everything and giving us excellent recommendations. She was so helpful and always contactable. We will certainly be returning to this beautiful cottage.

Wonderful property on edge of Lakes with great access to multiple beauty spots. Quiet with lovely views. Lots to do in the house. Extremely comfortable. Very well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. Immaculately clean throughout. Personal touch to everything which made it feel more homely. Great for kids of all ages. Will stay again !

Great property in a quiet location on the outskirts of Keswick. House was clean and very spacious and the drive was an added bonus. 20 min walk into Keswick and minutes from the A66. Garden was great to sit after a long day hiking with a cold beer. One of the best Air BnB I've stayed in the Lakes

We are repeat visitors to Cats Cradle for our annual Christmas get together, I think it’s our fourth year now and we wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else! It’s a brilliant location, far enough away from everything to be peaceful but close enough to walk to shops and pubs. The space is always clean and tidy and has a wonderful open plan social space. Emma is always friendly, approachable and accessible and responsive for help should be ever need her. Can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you Emma!

We had a great time staying. Carolines house is lovely and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Throughout our stay there was a problem with hot tub which was out of Caroline's hands but she made sure to compensate with a meal on her which was very much appreciated. Lots of lovely little touches and gifts around the house. Would definitely come back and see this place in the warmer weather thanks for having us.

Simon’s place is fabulous. Luxurious, with everything you could need. Such a short walk into Bowness but so peaceful too, and those views! We had the best family short break and didn’t want to leave. Simon was a great host, start to finish.

One of the best air b and bs I have stayed at. Excellent central location. Very clean. Modern. So many plug sockets. A kitchen set up for cooking (fridge a little small). A wine fridge! A washing machine. Plenty of heating. Tasteful decor. Lovely touches such as local prints, map in the entrance, books, games. All the products were high end. TVs in every room (not that we used them). Plenty of heating for the cold months. Radiators helped to dry everything out between hikes. So many great shops and restaurants a few meters from the property. 1 reserved parking spot. Then on street parking between 6pm-10am (not a problem in the off season). Can use parking disc provided by local stores for an extra free hour as needed. Everything was really high quality and there were supplies in reach for if things ran low. Alexa. Salt, pepper, oil, foil, Tupperware. Honestly 10/10. The only thing was no shampoo/conditioner/body wash - not an issue, but useful to know so can bring your own!

This was a brilliant place to stay in Keswick. It was quiet and tucked away with a parking space but very easy to walk into town. There are some fantastic local restaurants within a few steps. The accommodation was perfect for us and our teenage children. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean and tidy. We really liked the lobby area to remove shoes and hang coats etc before heading upstairs. Thank you ☺️

Church Street was a lovely place to stay, good layout, comfy furniture, plenty of room and all very clean. Location was good for us, 10 mins walk into the centre of Keswick or the lake. A great base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

A really comfortable apartment with lovely views of the surrounding fells, within easy walking distance to local attractions and amenities. It was nice to park the car and not need it again until we went home! Angela was very friendly and offered us lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the town.

A small but perfectly formed apartment. The steps up to the third floor are so worth it when you see the view from the balcony. Open the doors and sit with the sun on your face. Really comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and a TV with Netflix! You are only a short stroll from the shops and restaurants and of course the lake. A big advantage is the parking space we parked up on arrival then used the bus and ferries for the rest of our stay. Loads of fabulous walks nearby I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Nice flat with good facilities, in a very handy location (10 minutes walk from the Booths supermarket and with on street parking). Hosts were attentive and responsive.

Really enjoyed our stay at Kittiwake. Apartment was beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. Was so clean and comfortable, definitely home from home and such a bonus having the on-site parking. The location was ideal, not far from the centre of Bowness, lots to do, loads of places to eat. Michaela was a great host, quick to respond and clear with instructions. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovey week staying at this property. It was a cosy little bolt hole from which we could explore Ullswater with beautiful views across the lake towards the surrounding hills. The Brackenrigg Inn, just a short walk down the hill, served great food and local ales. It was a short drive to reach some spots on the lake shore where we could go paddle boarding, and some greta walks along the Ullswater Way right from the front door. Our girls enjoyed the communal lawn and, whilst there were other families staying on site, there always seemed to plenty of room for us all. The flat was well equipped and just about the right size for our family of 4 plus our dog. The beds were comfy and the showers great. There was limited wifi in the master bedroom / twin room - but that didn’t especially bother us. Overall a very enjoyable stay - thank you.

Lovely luxury modern facilities and everything we needed for cooking treats away from home. A really comfy stay for all of us including our two doggies. Great for them to able to go for a walk right from the doorstep. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely views from a cosy apartment. Great to be both within a stones throw of Kendal for some lovely doggie friendly cafes and one of the best butcher shops around as well as being in the quietness of the countryside.

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment was immaculately presented and looked just like the photos. Chris and Lottie are the perfect hosts, sending us a list of local recommendations and useful travel advice as well as leaving us some lovely welcome gifts. We felt very comfortable. I think the bonus is having the extra bathroom as that means that each guest/couple can have added privacy. We would love to stay here again.

This apartment is very spacious - bigger than it appears in the photos. It is well equipped, warm and comfortable. There are useful instructions for all the appliances etc. It was lovely to have a view of the bay from the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The location is central but peaceful and the private parking space is very useful. You can walk to the promenade in under 10 minutes. Communication with Carina was very prompt, friendly and efficient.

Ideal place as a clean, comfortable base for our walks. We loved the cosy beds and perfect location. Liam was so helpful and friendly too. We would definitely stay here again. Very impressed. Eating Recommendation: Tilly's nearby serves great food.

Great stay at Raluca's place. Her communication was great from the outset, responding promptly to questions and providing lots of local recommendations. The place was perfect for our stay and the kids had a great time. The swimming pool and play areas were excellent and the toys in the apartment were a real bonus. Would happily stay here again for a family break.

We had a lovely stay. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Bowness with plenty of restaurants, pubs and the lake within easy walking distance. The place is lovely and we really enjoyed using the hot tub. Great recommendations and advice on things to do, places to eat etc from our hosts and we would definitely visit again. So easy to check in and we loved not having to have a key, easy access. Thanks for a lovely stay.
