Great little lodge. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We celebrated a quiet 40th and couldn’t have asked for more, lovely quiet location with great views. Selby was very nearby and easy to get to with nice places to eat and York being so close too for a fantastic day out….. then to come back and relax in the hot tub was very welcoming 🤗

We had such a lovely stay - the photos cannot quite do the beautiful view justice. The house was spotlessly clean, and the perfect size for five adults, a baby and two dogs. The dogs had such a fantastic time running around the garden whilst the adults enjoyed the hot tub! Andrew's instructions were perfectly clear and he was very helpful and responsive during our stay. There are so many beautiful walks in the area. The house is full of modern amenities - the showers are fantastic. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend visiting The Old Potting Shed if you're heading to Yorkshire. Rachel & James thought of everything to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They realised we were visiting with three toddlers and so checked on our needs at the point of booking to ensure we had all we needed upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. It was clean, well equipped and situated in a stunning location. James popped in to introduce himself and check we had all we needed for our stay. Thank you Rachel and James for an enjoyable experience! We'd love stay again some time.

Hopes and beams what an incredible place! Absolutely stunning scenery, the lodge itself is so beautiful, was amazing sitting out in the hot tub listening to the nature, i took my girlfriend for her birthday and she absolutely loved it, gemma was so helpful putting up birthday banners and balloons for me and also getting some gorgeous flowers from the florist sorted for me, i really cant get over how amazing the stay was! Had absolutely everything you needed in the kitchen, it was absolutely spotless! Will definitely be staying again for more than 2 nights this time! 11/10 from us what an incredible place and made some amazing memories, thankyou!

Absolutely lovely! Little Jockey Cottage was stunning, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully peaceful. The perfect getaway! The surroundings were gorgeous, making for a truly relaxing stay. The host provided very detailed instructions, so everything was seamless, and we didn’t need to contact them at all. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making our stay comfortable. We definitely want to return. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

We had a great stay I this apartment. It was exactly as described, it was very clean, peaceful and comfortable a real home from home. It was within easy walking distance of the town and had restaurants nearby. Parking was easy. This was our first Airbnb stay and the bar is set high for our next one!

Beautiful place in a peaceful private location. It was just what I was looking for. It was super clean and cosy when I arrived! Beautiful sunsets every night and lovely to sit outside and watch with the ponies! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a cosy get away

Really good location only a 6-7 min walk away from shops ministry and shambles Clean and tidy rooms with towels and linen provided Catherine also left my partner chocolates and birthday card which I thought was a lovely personal touch as we were visiting york for his birthday, we did struggle working out the heating and found it a little chilly but it didn't effect our lovely stay in york will happily return and use this lovely airbnb

Little lilac cottage was wonderful. I would highly recommend as you won’t be disappointed. We did some amazing walks right from the front door and when back with tired legs the cottage had everything you needed to relax. Abigail is a great host.
