Beautiful property in a great location with amazing views. The house was absolutely spotless and with living room upstairs, it enables the wonderful views, and the balcony is perfect for your morning coffee. Simon’s instructions were perfect to find the property easily, and he was so responsive when we needed to contact him (as we locked the keys inside the property), he sorted immediately. Would definitely stay again, thank you so much.

We had a wonderful weekend at The Key to the Esk. The cottage more than lived up to expectations and well worth the money. Our dog loved the large garden and the hot tub was superb! The cottage was so cosy and the bathroom was amazing. There is a gate that leads directly to the river Esk which was a lovely walk. Thanks again for a lovely stay and would 100% return.

The stables exceeded expectations. Great location, great hosts and lovely property. Clean and tidy with lots of little additions such as the cheese board and Prosecco on arrival and the fresh eggs laid by the chickens that live on the property, really nice touch. Hottub was the highlight of our weekend which we made great use of. Would totally recommend!

We had an absolutely gorgeous and relaxing weekend at the cottage. With the sun shining we enjoyed paddle boarding and swimming in the lake then warming up in the hot tub! The cottage is quirky and cosy, we loved the wood burning stove in the evening. The swing seat in the garden was also perfect for an afternoon snooze in the sun ☀️ Ruth very kindly dropped off a bottle of bubbly as we had some birthdays in the party which was such a sweet extra touch! We will be back.

We had a really lovely long weekend at Rose Barn cottage. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything needed. Towels were provided for the hot tub too. Hot tub was fabulous. Beautiful area. Hosts were so lovely and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely w returning.

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. It was clean snug and warm and had everything we needed to make it a memorable weekend. Diana is very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home straight away I would thoroughly recommend it

It’s a lovely home and very cosy! Really close to the hills of the Lake District! Perfect for walking and exploring this area!

Super cosy and comfortable cottage. All the rooms were clean and refurbished to a high standard. Lovely views and great set-up with a wood burner in the living room and a massive free standing bath in the bathroom. Perfect location to do lots of walks in the close area. Only 30 minutes from Keswick and 20 minutes from Cockermouth. We will definitely visit again!

Welcoming fairly lights, warm, clean, magical with views of Helens horses and toasty log burner. Heated floors and hot baths! All much needed in the snowy weather. Helen has thought of everything! Thank you for the peaceful, perfect stay.😊

Lovely spacious cottage within easy reach of Cockermouth. Had everything provided could possibly need and even a jar of dog treats. The whole cottage was immaculate and clean. Would certainly recommend and return myself again in the future.

What an amazing place to stay. Beautifully presented cottage in amazing surroundings - so peaceful and relaxing. Also great access to wonderful hikes in the Lake District. Sean was a great host with fantastic communication. Could not recommend enough!! Would love to go back :-)

I had an extended stay here and felt really at home straight away. It's small, really well equipped, and easy to keep warm. Also super comfy bed which I'll really miss! Village and local area are lovely and within easy access of the M6.

Beautiful cozy cottage with great location to the shops in Dumfries and stunning views. We had a great time with my partner and definitely will be back in the future. The cottage was fully equipped and has clear instructions. Thank you for the hospitality.

Pretty basic but lovely and warm, plenty of hot water, perfect as a base for walking etc.

We had a great 2 night stay at the cottage. Really nice inside and comfortable beds. The village is really quiet and nice walks close by, with a local pub which was highly entertaining with the locals full of chat. Would highly recommend a stay here

Beautiful cottage in a great location. Lovely to meet Joan for check in and the extra touch of the breakfast basket was very much appreciated. The cottage is amazing and definitely a home from home. We will definitely look to come back sometime in the future.

We really enjoyed staying at April’s cottage. It was a great location for a winter stay as it’s very accessible to both Keswick town and the station.

We had a great week. The hosts had made it very welcoming and christmassy (including tree in lounge). It's a beautiful location and in better weather would be a great base for the lakes/dales. It has a well stocked kitchen and once we'd worked out the log burner/heating was easy to keep warm. We were warned about the driveway which at points is like off-roading, but we did manage to navigate it without 4x4's. If you are up for a secluded location, or a base for hiking, or just somewhere to relax then I would recommend.

What an exceptional spot, lovingly and sympathetically restored by owners and so comfy and beautiful- excellent food too. Dogs were in heaven
