The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

We spend a week of a spotless cleaned house with a great host, Ken. Everything as described, clean and organized especially the kitchen with everything needed and a lot of extras. Overall, we love the time staying there and highly recommend this property.

Perfect home for the needs of our families. We were in town for a football tournament. Pool was fun bonus for the kids. John was very responsive. We’d stay again.

A new, lovely home in its 'own tranquil setting. Squeaky clean. Nicely appointed. Wonderful deck hot tub. Even had coffee provided for the morning! Ryan quickly responded to all my texts and was very understanding when we accidentally left with one of his gate keys. Oopsie! I would recommend this home to anyone looking for an experience in a peaceful home in a beautiful, forested community. The deer standing at the gate were an extra bonus!

The place was exquisite, the host was accommodating allowing us for early check in. The surrounding was tranquil, my family was able to relax and be comfortable. It is overlooking the lake, walking distance to the park so we were able to visit the cherry blossoms and have our kids play in the playground. The hot tub was always hot for us and the water was clean. The place is huge, there was a steam bath in the basement, the kitchen had a huge stove and grill was readily available. I am picturing such nice summers in this place, with paddle boards and life jackets available as well. The garden was muddy because of the rain, but we were still able to enjoy the backyard with the cemented patio and the hot tubs. It was just perfect for our visit to Seattle. We did have trouble with street parking though, since the road was a bit small and the neighbors too were parking on both sides of the road, our rental car was scraped on the side mirror. So just heads up to find a better place to park

Laura's place was beyond our expectations! It had all the amenities one could want- and then some, beautifully decorated yet a livable feel. We rented this home to house us and some of our family for our wedding weekend- I couldn't have asked for more. The sauna was lovely after the cold plunge, our grandson experienced kayaking for the first time and was above the moon excited with his new experience! This will be a place we will visit again. Laura was very timely on all her messages, clear and concise expectations that helped make our stay easy and relaxing. This by far is now one of favorite places to stay!! My boyfriend and I had the most relaxing weekend getaway here. There were all the appliances you could think of then some!! That’s a big deal when you love to cook. The hot tub was amazing and pretty clean which was a huge plus. Tons of special little features you’ll just have to see for yourself. We will definitely be coming back.

My friends and I had the best time! We had 4 adults and 2 kids stay. We all slept comfortably. There was something to do for every one. The kids were very exited about the bikes and 1 of them learned to ride solo for the first time. We loved walking to the beach, the swings, finding sea shells, two of us went polar plunging and then loved getting warmed back up in the hot tub. We made homemade pizzas in the kitchen and loved playing Pictionary in the living room. The gated community in the woods felt so safe and out in nature all out the same time. The hosts have been amazingly helpful and communicative. We are already dreaming of coming back in the summer time. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a fantastic stay at Sam’s property. Was clean and comfortable. Location was great and made for a convenient jump off point for our weekend activities. Wouldn’t mind staying again!

We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We are a family of five and it suited us very well. Very open and spacious with plenty of room to move around and hangout. The house was also very clean and the hosts are very helpful and accommodating.

We had an amazing stay at this house! The view was incredible & we loved the hot tub! We never got to take advantage of the kayaks but it was nice that they were available!

This 'apartment' stay was a wonderful option for my little family while we visited with friends in the same neighborhood, enjoyed what downtown Ballard has to offer, and got out to play tourist in Seattle with the kiddos. The home was very cozy and delightful.

We didn’t want to leave! Carter’s home is amazing in so many ways. There is everything you might want in the immaculately clean house, and then more. The view is incredible, we had as much fun enjoying the view on our ‘rest’ day as we did exploring things in the city. As hosts ourselves, we appreciate detailed communication, and Carter provides detailed information about everything in his home! We will certainly return when we come back to the area.

This home was perfect for when I had lots of family visiting from out of town. Each couple had their own bedroom. The teens made use of the twin beds and the babies/toddler had floor space for their pad and travel cribs. (The carpet was very clean so we had no qualms about kiddos sleeping on the floor.) It was a very good price for the great accommodations. No hotel could have given me that price for the number of rooms I would have had to reserve. the view was lovely and the neighborhood was easily accessible from the main road. Definitely keeping Scott’s place in my favorites for the next time I have a bunch of family visiting.

Rebecca’s place was exactly what we’d hoped for and more. It accommodated all 13 of us amazingly. We had so much fun and had no complaints (which is hard to do with 13 friends in one place). It was a comfortable location with easy parking, and had a place for everyone who wanted to stay up late on a separate floor, and for anyone who wanted to get cozy early in the night. Such a fun and safe neighborhood. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. :)

Our family had a wonderful stay at Emily and Shannon's place. There was just the right amount of space for our family of four and our two boys felt very special having a bedroom and a big bed to themselves. The house itself is very private with a lovely fenced in yard. It's full of character and decorated in a French country style with soft paint colors throughout. We only wish we had longer than two nights. If we are ever back in Tacoma we will definitely stay again. The complementary bottle of wine was a very nice touch too!

The stars speak for themselves. The place was isolated, so it was very peaceful! I felt safe knowing the property was fenced off and had sturdy locks with a keypad. It wasn’t too small it wasn’t too big, it was perfect for relaxing with a loved one or even just having 3 person family. Couldn’t have gone any better!

Naili was an excellent host. Very responsive to all questions and inquiries. Very accommodating to me and my family and made our family Thanksgiving get together a reality with her beautiful home. The home is extremely gorgeous and very well kept with beautiful views and very peaceful. Everything was as advertised. I highly recommend staying at Nali’s house.

The perfect romantic getaway for Valentines weekend! We had a fantastic stay at this charming home by Alki Beach. The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was just a short walk to Alki, great restaurants, and views of the city at night. Will definitely be booking again and I highly recommend this place for a getaway weekend in Alki

Our group of four moms and our four teenage boys rented the Holly House for our annual three day getaway. Even before booking, Paige was exceptionally communicative and helped to clarify questions that I had about bedroom layout. The house itself is *absolutely* stunning and the location on Hood Canal with a gorgeous view of the beloved Olympic Mountains, made this annual trip all the more special. Paige was incredibly responsive on the occasions where questions came up and was a delight to interact with. As a group who loves the cook, the big open kitchen looking out onto the water was so perfect. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The upstairs bunk “great room” was like a palace for our boys and they indicated that this was their favorite place we’ve stayed locally (we all live in Kitsap). Definitely hope to return again soon!

We love coming to Sherry's Hood Canal home. The setting is beautiful and it's so peaceful and relaxing. John is a pleasure to work with, communicates readily and is just a really nice person. We hope to come back again soon.
