Courtney was a great host and very responsive! The location was beautiful and has plenty to do for a winter getaway away. We loved our time here.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kelsey’s home. She made herself available for any questions or concerns. The neighborhood was peaceful. The house was clean and cozy. It backed up to a serene wooded area. The beds were extremely comfortable. Would most definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect location to stay for our fall golf trip to Arcadia Bluffs. A beautiful home less than 20 minutes to the course. Highly recommended.

The Mangy Moose is the place to be! John has thought of everything! We came over our spring break (March) for fishing, so we didn't get to use all the summer amenities... But we enjoyed the beautiful kitchen (for yummy home cooked meals), awesome large dining table (for meals and games), large tv with lots of channels, beautiful fireplace, hot tub, and the kids LOVED the club house. Plus the 4-bed & 4-bath setup was perfect to blend (2) families together for a very comfortable stay for 9 people (total) for the week. This place is a true gem and we are already talking about next year!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely home in an amazing location. The access to Silver Lake with paddle boards and kayaks readily available was amazing!

My wife and I had a few days off for a fall break. Dennis' place was a perfect spot. The drive there and the surrounding woods were vibrant with color. The place was comfortable, well-suited for a short or long stay, and was stocked with plenty to do. The short path to the lake is great, and the dock provides a lovely view. We spent hours just sitting on the dock chairs reading. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny days. We took the short drive into Traverse City to go to Trattoria Stella, one of our very favorite restaurants. We also took a short hike out back to connect to the Mt Minnie trail and thoroughly enjoyed that hike. Being minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, and Franfort was a perfect location. Our last evening, we went 15 minutes to Peterson Beach and watched the sun set and stayed to watch all the stars emerge in the darkness. It was amazing! We didn't, but we could have built a fire there on the beach.. We hope to return. Thanks Dennis!

The cottage was exactly what was advertised and the pictures were accurate. The cottage was very warm, inviting and clean. We had a great time on the water and the location was great to go to other areas such as Traverse City as well. Very nice property!

We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

The house was nicely decorated & looked like the pictures in the listing. We loved all the rooms. Scott was very responsive & accommodating. The family had a great time. We would love to use it again in the summer to explore the lake and nearby towns.

Enjoyed a winter getaway at this beautiful home! Beautifully decorated & designed with fun & relaxing time in mind

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

Memory maker is a beautiful place in Elk Rapids. Peaceful, in front of the lake, excellent location to spend time with a small group of friends/family and 30 minutes away from Traverse city. Really charming and had all amenities for a quick getaway. Even in frosty temperatures, the place looks like a safe heaven.

Emily's cabin is unbelievably cute and quant. We instantly felt at home. It was warm and lovely with a wood burning oven. The back of the house is all windows and overlooks a serene...perfectly suited for kayaking, which they have by the dock. The house is in a private wooded setting. Our dogs loved it. Emily was also so kind to let us check in early. We had a complete black out in Petoskey from ice storms. She went out of her way to get us in as early as possible. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back

We loved our stay at this cabin on a cold winter weekend. We greatly enjoyed the wood stove, and everything was well thought through amenities-wise. John was very friendly and helpful. I’m sure it’s lovely in the warmer months with Bar Lake in the backyard and Lake MI just down the road!

The cabin on the river was a perfect fall getaway. It was very peaceful, the house was comfortable and perfectly matched all descriptions. The fire-pit out back made an absolutely lovely evening. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

It's my first experience in a cabin, even if it has always been a dream in my life. Always attracted by the cozy wooden places with soft light, a fireplace and a warm environment. Given I was in the area for other reasons I decided it was the right time to explore the cabin world. So we found Monica's cabin, aka the Hawk's Nest, and I went for that. The pics on AirBnB are fantastic, but believe me, the feelings you get when you open the door and step into the cabin is far more amazing. If the pics on the Web are a 10, the cabin goes all way to 11 when you get in. I found all the things I was describing before: a perfectly arranged place with all the facilities and the cozy and warm environment someone is looking for! The surroundings is not less than the cabin: a wood in front of the lake, with a firepit, some canoes available and a fantastic landscape. We arrived at a snow time but I wonder the place would be a dream in spring. Definitely a place I want to visit again! Thanks Monica!

Truly a perfect location with a stunning view for a peaceful getaway! Super clean (highly impressed with the cleanliness) and had just about everything we needed in the house! Love everything about it and would definitely recommend this place to others.
