cabin was nicely tucked away surrounded by nature. All the amenities were top notch and a joy to use. A very home-y vibe and nicely decorated. The photobook covering the construction of the home was a nice touch. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. Wood stove kept us toasty and had no problems keeping the home warm. Everything about the stay gets 5 stars. Would stay again!

Was the 10-hour round trip worth it? Absolutely, without a doubt! Even though the weather wasn't ideal, it only added to the charm of this beautiful cabin—honestly, we felt like we were in a cozy winter wonderland. I can't think of a single negative moment from our stay. Even our cats would agree. Alison and James have truly created something special here, and their attention to detail made this one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. Not to mention all the incredible visits we got from the local wildlife. Communication with Alison was seamless, which truly helped ease our nerves about visiting a new place while navigating through challenging weather conditions. We’re already looking forward to coming back and experiencing the treehouse in all its glory (hopefully without the freezing rain next time!). Thank you, Alison and James, for making our stay unforgettable!

Tout est absolument parfait, idéal, enchanteur : Julia et Will sont les hôtes idéaux, leur domaine un paradis presque irréel, la cabane digne des plus luxueux endroits et sourcé localement (tout le matériel est d’une qualité superbe, du nacre des couteaux au matelas au plaid !). Les repas (petit déjeuner inclus, dîner sur demande) sont eux aussi dignes des plus fins restaurants. Julia et Will respectent et célèbrent leurs hôtes comme rarement (jamais ?) vu.

Thanks for letting us stay at your place. The place was beautiful. Private feeling and with lots of stuff to do at the cottage and on the water. Great place to bring your dogs as well!

We had a really great time at the cottage. Everything was very clean and organized and it felt very homey. Stephanie was very flexible and responsive. The place had everything and more that we needed. I will definitely recommend it to large groups. We will definitely be back.

Julie sent us the cottage address and more information well in advance of our arrival. She was friendly and even though she lives close by we couldn't see her house and she gave us total privacy. I have experienced a few airbnbs to date and must say that I have yet to experience anything unpleasant. That's because of the incredible integrity of hostesses like Charlotte, overseeing places like this sweet gem: true to its advertisement, and very well laid out instructions which kept us from having to inquire about anything. We came to create and we came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. My husband and I are calling this our "Oasis-Escapis" and plan to bring more monumental celebrations and creative endeavours here. An excellent little A-frame! A great place to get away and relax. Everything was clean, and the hottub, fireplace, and stove all ready and easy to use. Boardgames and movie projector offer fun indoor activities. The property also has enough room for short walks in the forest. It looks like they are in the process of adding additional cabins close to cabins #3 and #4.

This place is so cute! the perfect winter getaway. Jessica was very gracious with check out during a storm, it really put our minds at ease. We really want to see this place in the summer, so we already booked our dates!

We had a lovely girls' trip at this beautiful cottage! The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The views were absolutely wonderful, and we loved taking in the scenery throughout our stay. The nearby hiking trails were a great bonus—perfect for getting outside and exploring the area. My dog also had a wonderful time! It was the perfect retreat, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay in the A-Frame. It is peaceful, cosy, thoughtfully-appointed and incredibly well-laid out. Rachel is very friendly, helpful, and responsive.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Domaine Labrador. Nous sommes une famille avec deux jeunes enfants et un petit chien. Le site nous a permis de décrocher de la routine, de se relaxer et de profiter d'un grand site très sécuritaire avec les enfants pour s'amuser dans la neige. Hélène nous a répondu rapidement à nos questions, nous a donnés des détails pertinents pour le séjour et a été très accueillante à notre arrivé. Le chalet était magnifique et très propre. Je recommende fortement cet endroit.

Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!

Tiffany thought to provide fixings for a smores treat! Our grand daughter also loved the play structure. We would definitely rebook with Tiffany again! Thankyou!

We had an awesome stay at Dawn's cabin! The place is really quiet and private. Even if the place doesn't have electricity and water everything you need is there such as water bottles, snacks, kitchen supplies, BBQ with gaz, wood, pans, candles and chargeable lights, blankets etc. Also we were there to celebrate my birthday and Dawn was really thoughtful by placing some cupcakes for our arrival. Self check-in was also really smooth and well indicated. I totally recommend you to book there. It was such a good weekend to reload our batteries away from the city. Thank you!

The cabin was as described. Near other homes, but had a lot of privacy and a big backyard sloping down to beautiful riverfront. Plenty of outdoor seating options. Comfortable beds and tidy kitchen and bathrooms. Easy to use the Roku TV and turn on the fireplace which was gas powered. Little bit tricky pulling out of the driveway with some obstructed views and a post on the other side. Had to go very slow and exit inch by inch in case there were cars coming until you’d see them and they would see you. But all in all a great option for us - close to Clarkson University to visit our son at college with our two dogs. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time at this cottage. It's cozy and very comfortable. Beds are great. The kitchen is super well equipped. The deck is a peaceful place where you can enjoy nature. The restaurant in town is very good. Anne-Marie was very nice and lovely. We will be back for sure!

We loved our stay at "A Little Cabin in the Woods" in February 2025! Nice and secluded with a wonderful view from the front porch and fire pit area, which is where we cooked one of our suppers! Can't beat fire cooking! The drive from Canada was easy and we especially liked seeing both farm animals (chickens and goats) and wildlife (deer) on the road to the cabin! If you're looking to unwind and disconnect, this is the place to go! We'll be back!

From the very beginning amber and Darcy’s communication was 10/10, she was so thorough that any questions we had were immediately answered and even at the location there were onsite notes for anything to make use that much easier. The location was scenic and so peaceful. It really felt like we were tucked away for the ultimate relaxation. They had everything you need and more to enjoy their cabin to the fullest. Whether you are outdoorsy or not there were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities provided. The neatness and cleanliness made this rustic cabin genuinely so easy to enjoy. Not all hosts provide things you might forget or entertainment but they certainly did. Everyone had their own personal space for the girls trip and the outhouse was so clean it made for a very practical vacation. We are already planning our next trip back! Who thought a winter getaway could be so successful, the weather was amazing and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Thank you again!
