Absolutely beautiful home right on the beach! Our pups had a blast even though the water was cold (close to 30 degrees). Home was perfect and host thought of everything. We loved the couch so much that we had to ask for the details to buy one for home. Will be back in the summer ❤️

Wonderful location and great responsive host. You can walk across the street to a beach or walk a few blocks to the park and town. It was family friendly with great internet so you can easily stay for a few days or a month! A little road noise in the bedrooms but it slows at a reasonable hour. Will definitely stay again!

Sarah was super responsive, kind, and easy to work with during our unexpected trip to Alpena. The home was beautiful, warm and inviting. My family and I really enjoyed getting together and catching up in the family room that was spacious and with coziest seating. But special thank you to the host, Sarah, who was flexible, accommodating, and so understanding of the chaos that my family emergency brought. You are very much appreciated! All I can say is AMAZING!!! The house was spotless!! There was everything you could think of already there, from extra bedding, toiletries, fans, kitchen supplies!! The setting was beautiful! Very quiet and very comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to answer any questions! Would definitely recommend for a family stay!

Lots of fun to be had at Linda’s establishment. We enjoyed the fire pit and the WELL stocked wood to accommodate our camp fire😊

This was a great stay for us. The best stocked Airbnb that I’ve stayed at. Ample supplies in the cabinets. The place was relaxing and peaceful with beautiful views of the lake! We floated and used the dock almost every day. Dogs were allowed which is hard to find so that was a great bonus! We had some visitors stop by for a couple of days and they fished the lake and were able to catch some walleye and perch! Overall, a great experience relaxing, peaceful, clean definitely a place I would recommend and come back to!

Very nice home with lots of charm. I used to deliver news papers to this house when I was a kid in the 80s! Other than terrible weather- we left the day of the March 2025 ice storm that knocked power out across Alpena County for a few days after we left! But the house was nice, very cozy and comfortable. Beds were excellent. Shower was hot with great water pressure. All you need during a cool spring stay.

Our family stayed here a few years ago. I knew it was where we wanted to be again. We love being in the middle of nowhere. We love the serenity and the wildlife. Very clean and cozy. We stayed a week and I didn’t want to leave when we did. Can’t wait to visit again!

It’s a well managed, well maintained home that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed during our fun filled exploration of the Alpena area during spring break.

Kiegan’s place was great! Clean with a well stocked kitchen. A short walk to Mancino’s Pizza and the beach. A quick drive to museums, the Plaza pool, and downtown. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog and having sidewalks everywhere for walks. We’ll be back!

I wish I could put into words how amazing this stay was! There were so many activities to do here, it was insane! I wish we had more time to enjoy them. It was very peaceful, kayaking down the river was a beautiful experience (definitely recommend water shoes, rocky bottom). They are also very accommodating for pets or for babies, have extra things just in case you forget something. 100000/10 would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful time staying here. In the perfect tucked away spot, the pond is very clean and beautiful and feels completely off the grid! The cabin is close enough to both Roger's City and Alpena that we made trips for dinner and to play some golf. Overall, a wonderful experience that made our up north getaway special!
