This is the perfect choice to stay in Bright for a couple. We stayed for 4 nights and it is in my all time top 3 places. It is situated in a very quiet culdesac about 1km from the centre of town. The modern little Scandanavian- inspired house has delightful views from the living room and bedroom. The seperate toilet is useful. The helpful but unobtrusive owner lives next door. The house is cleverly designed, well appointed, free of clutter, bright and has a full kitchen. There is a rear balcony with great views of the hills and space to store your bikes. (The house is a one minute ride from the bike track to Wandiligong, a delightful and easy 5 km ride or walk.)

WOW – What an incredible stay! I had a special and meaningful weekend planned with close friends, and our time at Victoria’s Barn exceeded every expectation. From the stunning views to the spacious interiors, everything was perfect. The kitchen and dining area were equipped with everything we needed for a big group dinner – not to mention how picturesque it all was! The location offered quick access to town, plenty of space to relax and unwind, and we were even treated to the company of so many kangaroos – a magical touch. Victoria's communication was flawless. She provided a clear breakdown of bedrooms and bathrooms before our arrival, which made planning for the group seamless and stress-free – something I truly appreciated. If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a large group or family gathering, immersed in nature, Victoria’s Barn is it. Beautiful memories are guaranteed here. The home was well furnished and spacious for our party of 7 adults and 2 dogs. The view of the valley from the front of the property is great. Having 2 seating areas in the house is helpful, as both areas have televisions and it was possible to watch different programs simultaneously. The beds were very comfortable with quality linen. The attention to detail is evident in every room. There is a fully equipped kitchen with ample crockery, cutlery, pans and tools. This made us feel “at home”. A good sized, well maintained, landscaped, fully fenced garden suited our 2 dogs. David, the host, promptly responded to any of our queries before we arrived at the property and while we were there, ensuring us of a comfortable and happy stay at the house. However, we have a suggestion regarding the steps inside the house. The steps need clearer demarcation to make them more visible, particularly as the steps are of varying depth. This was a beautifully presented property and was as described. The property was large and expansive with excellent facilities. We were very comfortable and all our needs were met.

Doug was a great host, house was very cozy, welcoming and clean Our kids loved the space and the toys that were at the house, the peace and stillness at night was perfect. Great place to stay with the family.
