We truly enjoyed staying here. It was very well maintained and very clean - and roomier than expected. We had our dog and there was plenty of room for her to play ball to exercise as we traveled. We weren't staying because of the refuge but were able to visit it a little and could really understand it's value (also saw nesting wood storks!) We ate at Old School Diner, which was an eclectic experience - and both the shrimp and flounder were exceptional.

Janet was the most wonderful hostess! My friends and I absolutely adored her. Our stay at her beautiful home was amazing for our girls trip to Savannah and the nicest way to celebrate my birthday. Everything was clean and the place was huge. We loved that there was a bed for each of us. It was exactly as it looks in the photos. The location was perfect! It was an easy drive to downtown Savannah, but we also had meals nearby at Auspicious Baking Company, The Wyld Dock Bar, and Driftaway Cafe. It’s also super convenient to Wormsloe, The Savannah Botanical Garden, and Bonaventure Cemetery so we enjoyed those sights on our last day. I look forward to my next visit with Janet!

We loved the space! Being right next to Fort McAllister was fantastic, and it was just the right amount of space for me and my kid. We loved seeing the family of deer right outside every morning. The bed and comforter were so cozy, and there were lots of kitchen and cooking amenities for longer stays.

I stayed for 6 weeks at Jun and Mel's studio and had a wonderful experience. The space was quiet, clean, and safe. It is within walking distance of a small park and a short drive to Walmart, which was very convenient. Jun and Mel were very responsive hosts and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed.

This was our first visit to SSI and the location of Aletha's AirBNB was terrific. Easy walking to restaurants, Pier and lighthouse. The space was clean and attractive. Perfect for a couple days.

We absolutely love this beautiful place! The art was absolutely amazing and the yard was fantastic too! Oh, and the bed was super comfy!!

Perfect for our stay. Short walk to restaurants, shopping, the pier & lighthouse. Dining without dealing with parking was a definite plus. Everything we needed was a short mobility scooter ride from the cottage.

Kylie was courteous, helpful and very considerate with us. Beautiful place, extremely safe and quiet neighborhood. Very well equipped throughout. Bath tub was beautiful and large but as a senior, way to high for me. Would suggest a safety bar. Will definitely stay again. It is definitely a real bang for your buck! I can't recommend this Airbnb enough! The location is perfect—just a block or two away from downtown Saint Simons, making it super convenient to explore the area. The place itself is amazing; we spent most of our weekend relaxing in the beautiful backyard. During the day, we lounged on the patio set, and at night, we gathered around the fire, creating unforgettable memories. There's so much to do and see nearby, and the house is stocked with all the essentials, including spices, cookware, and grilling tools, making it feel like a home away from home. Honestly, I can’t think of anything else I would want in an Airbnb. A solid 10 out of 10 experience!

Bucky and Kathy's unit was immaculately clean and perfectly suited to our needs. They literally thought of everything one might need and made sure it was provided. The unit is beautiful and has a very comfortable king sized bed. The location was great! It was peaceful and quiet, but close to great things to do in the area. Kathy was extremely responsive and accommodating. I want to give Kudos again on the cleanliness. It was literally perfect. Everything was true to the pictures and exactly as promised. We would definitely stay here again. Close to downtown but far enough to feel just right outside/not overwhelmed. There are great spots near there and it’s cozy. Def recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, it was prefect for an enjoyable long weekend exploring St Simons & surrounding area. Very walkable to beach and restaurants near by the house. We definitely come back again! Thanks for a great first trip to St Simons!

This space is ideal for people, ideally couples or solo travelers, to explore Savannah. Downtown is easily walkable and nothing, food, shopping areas, or historic areas, are too far away. Unless I buy my own space in Savannah, I will 100% stay here again. Besides location, the space was very clean and utilities were easy to use and very accessible, as the kitchen was stocked with different utensils and teas for my girlfriend and I to use. I can't recommend this place enough.
