The photos do not do the place justice, it's beautiful, towels are super soft, place is spotless, views are pretty when we arrived we could hear birds. Outside area is well set up, proper hot tub, cinema room is very cool and generally well equipped for whatever you plan to do. Only down side was the neighbors dog woke us up at 6am and barked a bit at various times throughout the day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cathrine’s! Everything we needed was provided and easy to use. Spacious and comfortable. Cathrine kept in touch offering any help if needed. Easy parking. The garden is a real sun trap with non-stop bird song. The house is very close to the Chesterfield canal and we had some nice walks on the tow-path.

We had a lovely Christmas week in this beautiful house, which very quickly felt like home for us! Beautiful spacious house in a fabulous little town! The Melbourne arms was lovely too for a special birthday meal. Lots of space for our little boy to play with his presents off Santa! I would definitely recommend, thanks for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home xx

Beautiful home, very attentive hosts, even with a slight issue out of the hosts hands, we had a lovely stay.

Really enjoyable stay for myself & my family this weekend. The place is beautiful & the attention to detail makes the place feel incredibly homely. Couple of minor issues with the WiFi & the hot water, but the host was extremely helpful & the issues didn’t impact on our stay or us thoroughly enjoy our time. We will definitely be back again & would highly recommend the place to anyone looking to enjoy a weekend or stay at Holly Nook. The local pubs are also a major selling point for the place & the local walking routes are perfect for those wanting to get some fresh air, or anyone with dogs.

We absolutely loved our little weekend away. The place was perfectly equipped, spacious and clean. Helen is really friendly and accommodating and went out her way to make sure our trip was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Such a romantic and peaceful getaway. It was a little date weekend for me and it was our first time away together. We had such a lovely time, it was cosy and private which is exactly what we wanted. We were surrounded by beautiful views and had the company of 3 cute little goats and 3 gorgeous highland cows. The local town was a short drive away so could go for walks, get food and grab any little bits we needed. Everything was more or less provided. Even got hot water bottles, socks and hand warmers which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was different to anything I’ve seen before but it worked really well. Loved the outdoor kitchen area, we made use of the BBQ. It’s perfect for 2 people. Would definitely come back

A beautiful cottage perfect for a family holiday. Everything you can think of is provided. The cottage is in easy reach of Lincoln. A great place to explore the surrounding area. Thanks Pam, we had a lovely break away.
