We loved our stay in the cabin. It was so peaceful. We got visits from deer every evening & shows from the lightning bugs every night. We enjoyed eating our meals on the screened in patio. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax before bed. The twin beds were not very comfortable (& they were also really squeaky). The other beds were fine, though. If you’re terrified of bugs & spiders, this probably isn’t the place for you. They weren’t excessive, but they were regularly visible. Mostly daddy long legs, nothing too scary.

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was beautiful, comfy, safe, and everything we had hoped for. We loved the large kitchen for cooking breakfasts, the grill for dinner, the hot tub was amazing after a long day of exploring in the gorgeous mountains and woods in the area. It was the perfect setting for my senior rescue dogs who are fearful of a lot of things and do best in calm, peaceful settings. They were able to take little short hikes and relax and explore there. We will DEFINITELY be returning for future vacations and recommending your place to our friends and family for their vacations. A week later and Im still missing waking up to enjoy my morning coffee out on the deck while watching the stunning fog rolling across the mountains. Joe is an excellent host, and super cool, very nice guy. He was extremely helpful and available for anything we needed. He even drew us little maps with landmarks to find our way around the area and helped us to decide which trails to adventure into, etc. We can thank him enough for hosting us!

Some cosmetic damange but overall it was an enjoyable stay. The fire pit area was very peaceful! I enjoyed the hot tub but it does have ALOT of chemical in it so I wasn't able to stay in very long. The beds and livingroom were comfortable to be in. The dishes weren't very clean in the cabinets but they had everything already there to clean them up better. It's a very affordable place to stay if you want the homey experience and not a hotel room. If we are ever in the area again I will be sure to rent from Tony again. Overall great stay for price 🥳

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and well kept. There were a lot of memorabilia related to the history of the cabin and farm. Hands down favorite part was the giant screened in porch with fireplace and hot tub. We even bought an air mattress to "camp out" one night on the porch. Best sleep I've had in years! Like every place in WV, it's a bit off the main roads, but that's the appeal. No traffic to contend with and quiet relaxation. Even with the drive, groceries and some restaurants are only about 20 min away. Would definitely go back.

This cabin was great for our stay! We spent The Weekend to go snowboarding & skiing at Winterplace. Was a little bit of a drive but we didn’t mind. The cabin wasn’t too hard to find permitting the weather (we got 8” of snow while we stayed). If you come in the winter I would strongly recommend driving something with 4x4! Overall we enjoyed our stay! Especially the hot tub!

The Rustic Ravines is a special, unique place to get away. The restaurant on site is within walking distance of where we stayed. Joe and his employees were super friendly, accommodating, and helpful to our needs. I am excited to go back when we come back that way.

Strawberry Inn at Heritage Farm exceeded expectations! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, there was so much to see and do on the farm, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. The kids had fun cooling off in the pool every evening. We would definitely return.

This was our second stay at Jeremy's Cabin, and we couldn't be happier! The location strikes the perfect balance—close enough to town for convenience, yet far enough away to feel like you're truly off the grid. The sound of the running creek adds an extra touch of tranquility that we absolutely love. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend this lovely cabin to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

We thought this place was a great escape for a mother/daughters weekend getaway. The location was private enough to feel you had space away from everything but also very well located to local shops, restaurants, and the parks for hiking. The descriptiom does not sell short. Everything was easy to use & they had very detailed instructions on how to operate certain things around the house. There was also enough space for our 2 large dogs to play in and around the house and feel at home. We did feel some photos online were a little outdated, like the fire pit area was not in exact state anymore, as well as what was available at the house as they mentioned in their house binder, like flashlights and lighters, and could use an inventory check, but they were small things that did not impact our trip directly. There was a neighbor nearby they recommended to call for firewood & he was super friendly & made our fire pit nights so convenient. We will definitely look to stay at this place again!

I was looking for a quiet place to rest and relax. This is perfect. The place is clean, warm, cozy and private!

We loved The Shack! it was just right. the house, deck and fenced in yard were great. the shed with pool table was fun too. super convenient to white water rafting and the gorge hiking. oak hill seems sleepy, but try the bakery and cafe restaurant. they have some good stuff!

Susan’s home was perfect for our needs. It was cute, clean and comfortable. My family is from the area and my sister and I are already planning on a return stay.

We've stayed at Francesca's cabins multiple times now; each time has been great! Her wee cabins are cute, comfortable, with all the amenities of home. She reaches out early to provide you with all the information you need to enjoy your stay and is easy to get in touch with during the stay if needed. I'm sure we will be back next year as well!

This cabin is beautiful and has plenty of room for everyone. Andi was the best host and was very kind and helpful. She made the process a breeze and was very quick to respond when I had questions. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

The place was absolutely amazing! The surroundings were beautiful, and the little trails off the property were especially convenient! Elizabeth was a FANTASTIC host!! She brought us on a tour when we first got in and on the way back she brought us through the woods after some rain. It was both me and my boyfriend’s first time being in an ATV and Elizabeth was the perfect person for it to be with! She’s very passionate about what she does and it’s very apparent! I most likely will be booking again in the summer months!
