This was our second time staying at Bryan's home, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed, making it feel just like home. Bryan was great with communication, reaching out early to inform us about some scheduled work in the neighborhood well before it started, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

The icehouse is a one of a kind property that strikes the perfect balance between modern amenities and historic charm. the home is beautiful and situated next to a babbling brook that makes the stresses of modern life fall away. Peaceful and quiet but only steps away from downtown a Amador City. If you stay there, make sure to check out the photo album showing the renovation of this 1880s piece of gold rush history. We decided on a last minute weekend get away and Jacques guesthouse did not disappoint. Her beautiful home is on the property but you have every bit of privacy needed. The deck was our favorite spot. Very private, great view of the hills and you can hear geese, cows, and turkeys. The check in and check out was the easiest I’ve seen. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful place in a beautiful little town. Amador City is close to wine tasting but far from the madness. The main floor is downstairs and is spacious and comfortable. 2 bedrooms downstairs and 1 up in the sitting area. My bed downstairs was really comfortable, just the right amount of firm, and the sheets really soft. Monique was very responsive to our questions. In the morning we walked down the hill for a really good latte and enjoyed the garden next to the coffee shop. Highly recommend!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was a wonderful experience, the amenities were great! The kitchen is fully stocked and there is plenty of seating in the living area and kitchen. The hot tub was amazing and super clean! The pool table and hockey table were so fun! We will definitely be back next year round! The host is very responsive and accommodating! They provide a really cool guide to the cabin and all the amenities. Very much appreciated the thought they put into accommodation. They even had toys for the kids

Thank you Laurie for opening your home to us. We do a lot of cooking & the kitchen was fully supplied, way more than the average Airbnb. It really felt like home. We enjoyed the open space setup for our family & 3 dogs. Thank you!!

We really enjoyed staying here, and wished we weren't attending a conference that limited our time here. This old house has been lovingly restored, and some of the information provided detailed that experience. The yard was lovely, as well as the house. We found the mattress very comfortable. Bath towels were soft, fluffy, and big, which I appreciate so much. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, etc. And the restoration even included a small dishwasher. Another thing I really appreciated were the recliners in the living room. I must admit I love a recliner, as I need to put my feet up.

This was our second time to stay here, what a beautiful spot. We enjoyed it immensely. There was a temporary issue with the water pressure to the toilets and Mike was very responsive to the situation and it was addressed immediately. We look forward to coming back!

Very comfortable and quiet property. We booked this property giving Kevin and Teresa only an hour’s notice. They were very pleasant and made sure everything was set for us. Kevin met us and showed us around. The apartment was very warm and cozy. We would highly recommend!!

This was such charming little place. It had absolutely everything you would need. We enjoyed the quiet walk to town and wonderful brunch and the Imperial Hotel. Very nice weekend getaway!
