Anne’s house made our trip so wonderful. She is very prompt response with clear and detailed information. She was flexible by accepting for guests (extra charge) that saved me quite much time when searching a house for our big group. We will come back if the kids want to ask for playing with the snow again.

Samantha, was a wonderful host. We all enjoyed out self’s and had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to visit again. The place was perfect for the 11 of us.

Our family completely enjoyed staying In Pioneer at this awesome home and location. The grounds are immaculate and so beautiful with plenty of seating and activities to enjoy. We enjoyed cooking together in the well appointed kitchen and Andrew even put up a Christmas tree for our family to enjoy and decorate which was important for the grandkids. Everyone loved the Christmas tree light show! We hope to come back and enjoy it all again!

Our 2nd stay @ Brittney’s place was a lot of fun once again. Love the spacious home and how close it is to the Big Tree Market incase you need anything you forgot.

What was great: The bedroom configuration worked great for our family of 5, with room to spare. Beautiful setting amongst the trees, with sunrise views through the main window. Well stocked kitchen. Close to Bear Valley Ski Resort. Using the fireplace every day. What could have been better: Hot Tub water was musky/murky. Check in and check out procedure required driving an extra 20 mins on both ends (pick up and drop off are at Bear Valley resort). Lots of automated communications, much of which was duplicative and included text that reads "Click Here," but is not an actual URL/Link. Having to pack out all trash. Slow internet Despite some opportunities for improvement, especially at this price point, we had a lovely time and found communications with staff -- once we were there -- easy and responsive. Getting to the ski resort was easy and the place worked well for us. We would stay again!

Spent the weekend here with my SO and had an incredible time. Jessica’s property is cozy and nestled in the forest with amazing views in every direction. The house was super clean and with great amenities (including the use of a vehicle pass to see Big Trees State Park which is only 10 min away!). Jessica was super responsive and proactive, being sure to ask how our stay was going and ready to answer any questions we may have had. She also gave us some great local recommendations for seasonal activities around town. Would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed in this home during rain/ cold season. No snow. The inside of the home was clean. the outside of the home was not as pictured, likely because of winter season. there was a lot of debris outside on the patios including pine needles (although unavoidable, it appeared no one had been at the home to do a quick clean up prior to the rental). The driveway is very steep. Plenty stairs to walk up as well. The outlets in the bathrooms and outside were not working and we had an issue with the toilet - luckily there were two restrooms. This was communicated to the property manager right away. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash soap and hand soaps were good quality. All the mattresses were also great quality. The location was close to Calaveras Big Trees and 30 minutes away from Bear Valley for tubing and sledding. A Tesla supercharger was very close to the property. Overall, a great time.

Amazing home!! exactly same as described. Good for large families. Market place and few restaurant close from the house. We really enjoyed our stay.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Everything was clean and well maintained. Tessa and Layton were very friendly and welcoming. Great place to stay in Arnold!

Perfect spot for an easy snow trip with kids. My 3 yo son was stoked about all the toy trucks and both kids loved having their own little beds. We slept comfortably and the common areas were the perfect size to accommodate the 4 of us, plus grandparents. We hope to return!

my family and I were here for 4 days and the experience was incredible.. I would stay there again great place, didn't find any snow there but we drove more up and found some fun places with snow, but the house was great my family and I loved it.

We stayed for a weekend snow trip with two families and it was a great fit for us. The hosts were very communicative, the kitchen has plenty of cookware for making big family meals, and the rec room was a great place to relax after a day of sledding. (Or send the kids to so we could relax upstairs. :) It was especially nice have toys and dishes for kids so we didn't need to bring our own. We would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our three nights at Aleh's place. He sent detailed instructions and getting in was easy. The house was spotless, with comfortable beds and plenty of warm bedding. A snowstorm was just starting when we arrived and the house took some time to heat up, but eventually, between the heaters and the fireplace, we were warm enough. The fireplace and big windows made it the perfect spot to snuggle with a cup of tea or cocoa - we really appreciated having firewood provided. A plow came twice during our stay to clear the driveway. We also did some shoveling to clear the upper driveway and front steps. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, especially with things like tea, coffee, and cocoa. The small countertop dishwasher was new for us; it can wash about six dishes and a few utensils at once so we had to run it after each meal, but it seemed to do the job! We were also grateful for a washer and dryer for wet clothes after snow play. All in all a very enjoyable weekend getaway!

We only stayed one night to celebrate my son’s birthday with a couple of his friends. They really enjoyed having their own space upstairs with a private entrance. The foosball and air hockey tables were a nice touch for the kids. The little red cabin basically had everything we needed to feel right at home. The cabin is well maintained and had a very cozy feel to it. Hugo was also very responsive and accommodating.

We had a fantastic stay at Alisa’s place! The house was perfect for our two families. The kids absolutely loved the extra playroom, which kept them entertained for hours-- no need to bring extra toys, there was plenty for them and puzzles for adults. The kids also had a blast playing outside in the yard. We also really appreciated how close the house was to Calaveras Big Trees. Alisa was accommodating, allowing us a late check-out, and she was very responsive whenever we had questions during our stay. Our only regret was not having enough time to use the pizza oven, but the kitchen was fully stocked, so we were able to store all our food and cook comfortably inside. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this home for families looking for a relaxing, well-located getaway!
