Amantaní : locations de vacances qui acceptent les fumeurs

My Friends and I have been travelling throughout Europe and Latin America for the past 6 months and have stayed in many Airbnb’s, but the Pyramid House was truly unique and the best managed by far. The host Vianca kept the place immaculate and stocked with almost anything you could think of. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable and cozy. The apartment is equipped with an amazing commercial kitchen and huge social area. Having said all these great things about the apartment, the most impressive part of this Airbnb experience was the host herself. She literally took us everywhere we wanted to go in her own car! She was full of positive energy and every encounter we had with her was delightful. She checked in with us every day to see if we needed anything. She made recommendations about the best places to eat, visit and shop and when it came time to depart, she not only drove us to the bus station, she gave us all a little souvenir parting gift. Needless to say, we wished we didn’t have to leave Puno. It was a special experience in a special place with a very special person.

alojamiento recomendado si vas de viaje a la ciudad de Puno, que a tan solo dos cuadras de la plaza de armas, muy cerca a todos los lugares turísticos. El lugar es tranquilo silencioso afuera hay muchas opciones de alimentación y los host fueron amables y me hicieron el favor de guardar mi equipaje y de poder ingresar antes. Muchas gracias la pasé genial.

Muy bonito lugar y muy reconfortante super recomendado

Es un buen lugar para quedarse en familia, cocina completa, habitaciones ampilias y comodas, se encuentra en una avenida principal de Puno, cerca a terminales y se puede llegar caminando, cerca a mercado grande y desde la ubicación del departamento, se puede ubicar movilidad rapidamente para varios lugares de la ciudad, además la zona tiene movimiento; pero es muy tranquila. Silvia, estuvo atenta a nuestras consultas y peticiones que surgieron. Le agradecemos por la estadia.

Luis, Antonia et leurs enfants nous ont accueillis à bras ouverts ! Nous avons vraiment fait partie de la famille lors de notre séjour. Très bons moments partagés ! Le logement est au bord du lac, Llachon est un petit village qui vous permet de vous plonger dans la vie péruvienne typique. Nous garderons de très bons souvenirs de notre séjour. The island of amantani is a real gem itself. But the highlight of whole Peru was the stay with Henry and his wife Mary Luz. The apartment is located outside of the village with a stunning view over the titikaka lake. Everything was new and very clean and we slept very well. The best part was definitely the hospitality of Henry and Mary Luz. They welcomed us and cooked the best food we had during our whole 6 months journey through South America. Everything is home grown in their own garden and made with love. For the night we got additional bed bottles to keep us warm. We also got a chance to learn about their culture and also the Incas and their language. We even tried some traditional clothes! If we could we would have stayed longer to enjoy their hospitality and kindness. We fully recommend their home and wish all the best for the future!

It was an incredible experience staying on the Uro with Benito. We were the only guests there but they have other lodgings on the same island. You should go into this knowing what to expect as it's not your typical Airbnb experience. After you meet up with Benito at the port he'll take you on a boat to his Island and you can pass time there freely they also offer tours to nearby Taquile Island which is about 2 hours away by boat or you can tour the local uros with Benito. Most everyone will expect you to purchase something if you visit their uro, lots of handmade textiles. The lodging itself is gorgeous beautiful view of the lake the beds are comfortable we were quite warm in a bed with plenty of heavy wool blankets and a warm bottle at the foot of the bed you will definitely need this as even during the summer the temperature drops substantially at night. Another reviewer mentioned that this is more akin to glamping which I think was accurate. There's a shower but I was not able to get the hot water to function I didn't bother asking Benito because we're going to leave shortly anyway there's a sink to wash your hands the toilet does not have running water. Benito fed us well dinner was Pollo a La plancha with some vegetables and rice on the side and breakfast the next morning was pan de mano with a fried omelette tomatoes and avocado. But they de coca is always readily available and a must at this high altitude. Bring plenty of cash (~500 PEN) with you to the island as you'll be expected to pay for dinner, breakfast, and any rides that you need to and from town from the uro. All of the prices are reasonable, but you should know to expect this. I would gladly stay again and I wish that I had more time to pass in this tranquil place.

We had a lovely stay here. The area is so peaceful we were happy sitting in the patio all day. It was still perfectly walkable to the centre of the town. Pedro made us feel so at home, we had coffee, local snacks and an option for breakfast in the morning. The room was spotless, it is so nice that they have kept the traditional feel to the house, with so much history to tell us. We would definitely recommend to stay here!
