Ames : locations de vacances adaptées aux enfants

My boyfriend and I loved staying at Rose and Jim's place on our road trip to Minnesota! The vintage decor was out of this world, and Rose and Jim were very responsive/communicative when we needed to reach out. Such a cute and fun neighborhood as well. 10/10 recommend staying here on your next trip to Des Moines! :)

We rented the house for my grand daughters second birthday so all of the family could be together while going to the zoo and botanical gardens. The house was perfectly set up for toddlers in the space downstairs while also having a great set up for our older children and us adults. Hanchaltuu was amazing and I will definitely be using her again if I need to stay in Des Moines for any reason.

This is one of those fantastic "small but mighty" houses! It was exactly what we needed and was as expected. The location to the fairgrounds is fantastic, which is what we wanted. The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again given the chance!

Angela’s place was perfect for our family’s spring break getaway. The house was spotless! Easy to find and check in. We appreciated the snacks, cereal and coffee. Our 5 year old appreciated the toys and books. There were some storms in the area when we were there. Angela sent us a message after the tornado sirens sounded to let us know that they can be for strong winds as well which helped us not worry.

Christy's home is in an older, established neighborhood of Des Moines. It's easily accesible to Interstate 80/35 and also to 235 (via MLK). It's a cozy home completely furnished with antiques, giving you the feel of being in "grandma's house" for a visit.

Everything was great at Anna and Blake's. The kitchen was well stocked and the accommodations were comfy. The neighborhood was also super cute and made for great walks looking at all the beautiful, older homes. I would definitely recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed with Clinton and Jackie and both times were amazing. Home was perfect for our family as far as rooms, and the fact that it is dog friendly is a HUGE plus. They communicate very well, are responsive and have a great well maintained home that is in the middle of everything in Des Moines. I would recommend over and over again and plan to stay with them if we have anything in the area in the future.

A nice, quiet, comfy stay that's walking distance from Wheatsfield and all the other fun stuff on Main Street. Perfect location for a weekend trip to Ames.

Very helpful to have backyard access for my dogs, beautiful eclectic garden. Very comfortable bed and although I didn’t need the fridge or stove, it’s nice to know they were there. I didn’t notice if there were any utensils or dishes besides mugs. Quiet neighborhood and great sleeping!

I have wanted to stay here since it first opened and finally got the opportunity! Exactly as pictured only bigger. Very peaceful and private as well as clean. Loved visiting the little shops around town and breakfast across the street. The Doe A Deer store is one of my favorite anywhere 😊

I will not recommend this place if it wasn't really, really GOOD!

Really lovely property. I was genuinely shocked walking inside and seeing how nice everything was, literally spotless, and it had basically everything I could've asked for.

The apartment was immaculate and the decor was so fun! Host was incredibly friendly and helpful with my family research (the main reason for our visit). We will definitely be staying here every time we visit!

Good price and clean. It was a nice quick one night stay. Daniel is responsive and helpful.

Takes a special license to figure out how to get some water going in the shower, but it was cool having water coming from 3 spots. Plenty of room down there. Decor sits somewhere between Grandma's basement and the Oval Office. No ice available which would have been nice. Thanks for the coffee though, that was good. Check in/out all fine. Parking narrow dead-end street, one side only but wasn't a big deal. Had the little pups upstairs and their zoomies but all I wanted to do was snuggle up with one each evening. I was never offered and I will be upset over that for quite some time. Wasn't there much but was hoping to have access to watch Netflix woulda been a nice bonus. No big deal though. Overall, worked out great.

Jeff’s place was very clean, his directions for check-in and check-out were clear and easy to follow. If we would have had more time, we would have loved to visit all the shops nearby. A quick drive to the Iowa Events Center for any occasion. On top of that, Jeff was great at communicating and very flexible when I had to change my reservation. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay for a week in this Airbnb. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient. However, one of the beds was broken, which made it a bit uncomfortable for the person using it, but we managed. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d recommend this place for others looking for a cozy spot.

Had a lovely stay at Jeff's place! The condo was lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable. We felt welcome right away with a nice card from Jeff and some snacks. We had everything we needed at the condo including a comfortable bed and pull out sofa and a full kitchen. Light sleepers may want to bring a noise machine or ear plugs as the downtown bar crowd can be a little noisy on the weekends. We would love to stay here again the next time we're in Des Moines!

NIce industrial/loft setting, clean and well appointed. It was easy walking distance to restaurants and bars downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at this location again.

It was large enough we were able to host a dinner and evening for 8. And the location was perfect.

Great location in downtown DSM. Walkable to many attractions and restaurants. Host was responsive and extremely helpful. Place was spotless & welcoming. Thank you for hosting us!
