Fairview is an absolute gem! This circa 1867 historic home provided the perfect setting for our family Christmas. The charm and character of the house made us feel completely at home, and the accommodations were nothing short of perfect for our entire family. The thoughtful welcome treats and fresh flowers were such a warm and special touch that made us feel instantly at ease. The home was clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to pull off a wonderful Christmas dinner. The kitchen had all the essentials, making it so much easier to prepare and enjoy our meal together. The spectacular mountain views added a peaceful backdrop, and the resident peacock was a delightful surprise, bringing laughs and joy to our grandchildren. If you’re looking for a place that combines history, beauty, and comfort, Fairview is the perfect choice. We’ll cherish the memories we made here and hope to return someday!

We have stayed at Glen’s property for the past four years. It is an annual tradition we will maintain for so many reasons: amenities, location, and charm.

The farmhouse at Fairview was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect! We had a wonderful long weekend there, enjoying the peacefulness and gorgeous views. Jennifer was the perfect host, responsive, welcoming, and helpful, but also giving us privacy to make us feel like we had our own private country home to get away to. I definitely want to come back! :)

This place is exactly what I was looking for. Well-priced without unnecessary faux-luxury when I'm just looking for a quiet place to sleep and shower.

This home was perfect for our family of 6 plus our dog. The large kitchen was perfect for making meals at home and the couches are super cozy. The backyard is larger than our seems in the photos. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the morning, eating our breakfast and listening to the birds. She has thought of everything. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of fun extras throughout the house. We appreciated the special attention given to our doggie including a gift just for her.

A perfect getaway that provided peaceful views, nature, and bonus for being pet friendly. Kendra's husband was doing some work on the property, it was a pleasure running into him and talking. Entire property was well kept, very satisfied.

This was a perfect location for our extended family visit. Close to University of Lynchburg. Apartment was perfect size for our extended family. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

This is our second stay and we had a wonderful time! This is a secluded 'off the grid' cabin while also having the comforts of wifi and tv. We went into Lexington and went on a few hikes and had a wonderful time ringing in the new year!

A big apartment with plenty of amenities. It really feels like home. Communication with the host was as smooth as possible. Strong Wi-Fi signal everywhere. A great vacation place. The only issue for some is that it is far from everything, without a car, restaurants, groceries, etc. are in reality out of reach, at least with a small child.

Patricia is such a kind host! Her home is comfortable, there is every amenity you could possibly want from an Airbnb and the proximity to Liberty University makes it a great location! There are grocery stores nearby to if you plan to cook and her kids even left a sticker book with a note for our children to use. You can’t go wrong with this home! Highly recommend.

Glasgow House was an amazing place for my wife and I to stay as we waited to close on a house in nearby Lexington. The rented area is spacious and peaceful. We enjoyed the beautiful art on the walls and made good use of the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The back patio was a joy. We spent many mornings watching the spectacular sunrises over the hills and almost as many evenings under a dark sky stargazing and listening for the howls of cayotes and the hoots of owls. Elise and Eric were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. We often enjoyed walking around their property and along the gravel road, which leads to it and runs alongside the clear waters of the South River. The most memorable moments of our stay involved the numerous animals that share the property. The deer (including many fawns), woodchucks, rabbits, and turkeys were plentiful, and we also saw several bald eagles. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to spend some time in such a wonderful place.

lovely little home.e for our short trip. Duke had left us snacks with drinks. Home was cozy with a nice deck to sit out on. Very convenient location, even more so if your really familiar with the area.

This was my second time staying in this unit & was just as good this time as in 2022. Having grown up in Lynchburg in the 80s, downtown is much different than back then. This is a great location to stay to be near all that downtown Lynchburg has to offer now. Even though there are nice hotels downtown this is a much better option.

The place was beautiful, roomy and spacious! Great place to host a family dinner for special event. Cozy and nostalgic. Bill was a gracious host and reached out to us to ensure we had what we needed and even had breakfast items and a snack upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. :)

Rebecca was an outstanding host. An amazing person and a pleasure to be around. The property and house were exactly what we were looking for during our weekend of history. The horses are amazing to be around and the property is so peaceful. It’s a different feel there. The house was beautiful. Highly recommend

A comfortable and celebratory stay for our daughter’s graduation. The location was close enough for getting where we needed to be but far enough away from the hustle of graduation weekend. A well appointed home and an extremely well stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the screened porch!
