Our group of 6 (60+) had a amazing week great place to get the much needed relaxation and the Mountain View was amazing from the the morning sun rise to evening sun sets our adventure out include a trip to Hill top winery , Monticello , National bridge ,and crab tree falls and then to come home to this beautiful house with lots of room to spread out or gather as a group around the table sharing a great meal with the perfect view I definitely enjoyed and I would love to come back to this little piece of heaven

We loved it! So peaceful and relaxing listening birds and watching deers play near by. Enjoyed view and watching sunset, hot tub, movie theater and everything else. We were able to check-in a little early which was awesome! Mary Catherine is an amazing host who provided all needed info and was very proactive with responding to our messages. She left plenty snacks and necessities that any guest may need. Amazing place and location - Highly recommended! 🤩🤩🤩

Our family of seven spent two nights here to have family Thanksgiving, The drive to the house is very beautiful with mountains in the distance. The house was very spacious and clean. The integrity of the farm house itself is very warm, with many of the original floors and woodwork. The game room in the basement is a plus. Morning walks down by the creek give you an opportunity to be connected to nature. Very special visit and most definitely would recommend this charming home to others. Thank you Shantina for such a great adventure!

The house was great! The directions and information that they provided were very helpful to find the house and get right in. The views were outstanding! Wonderful sunset view the first night we were there!! We had tons of room while we visited, including a large table for all to have dinner at as well as great spaces to play games and hang out. A beautiful first night allowed us to enjoy the fire pit outside with a wonderful view of the stars.

We have stayed at Glen’s property for the past four years. It is an annual tradition we will maintain for so many reasons: amenities, location, and charm.

We stayed in Jason’s home for an event at Liberty University! The home is very nicely decorated! We love the feel of the home! We will definitely choose this home again for future events at Liberty University!

The Empty Nest was a peaceful escape for our family of 8. Plenty of open space around the home, a spacious in the living room for family games, and a well-equipped kitchen that met our needs. The hot tub and fire pit are excellent amenities to the home. The host was very responsive to our questions and needs! I highly recommend this stay.

Ive stayed at this wonderful home many times so I knew it was a treasure. However, the newest owner Gretchen really made this place even better. Clean, cozy, it has everything you need for a perfect moutain getaway. All the little touches and welcoming treats were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Can't wait to return!

We stayed for two nights, and the cabin was beautifully decorated with a stunning property. The hot tub was a huge hit with the kids! One thing to note for future guests—the river is not as close as it may seem. It’s a pretty steep hike down to the dock and back up. While the view is absolutely gorgeous and the walk is worth it, not everyone may find it accessible. That said, the cabin itself was perfect—super comfy beds, plenty of cookware and utensils, and a cozy atmosphere. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again!
