Second time staying here, and we continue to love it! The location is great: pretty much anything in western Mass can be reached within about an hour or less from the house. At the house itself, you have a clean, comfortable, and ample space. The hot tub overlooking the river is definitely a highlight. The sounds of the river and the occasional rumble of trains passing by create a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Place rules, hot tub is nice. Water pressure in shower could be a bit better but overall a great stay

Wonderful stay. The location was private and relaxing. The home was well stocked with all the amenities. Having the lake and kayaks available was perfect. Summer evenings under the stars and fireflies. Host was responsive and friendly. Look forward to staying again!

We felt like we were in a historic charming New England home, with all of the amenities of a modern resort. Outside, you can relax on the deck, watch birds and butterflies in the wildflowers and the little frogs in the lily pond. If it rains, there's a screened in porch for eating and lounging. Judith even left us apples to feed the three horses up the hill in the pasture. The house is in a beautiful rural neighborhood and there's Atkins Farm nearby that supplied us with everything we needed for a little pre-wedding breakfast - including great sandwiches and apple cider donuts. There were a lot of sleeping options for guests and the house was spotlessly clean. It was so convenient for a familty gathering and for our daughter's wedding at the Red Barn at Hampshire College. Judith took the time to answer our questions by text and phone before we arrived and she left us a long, detailed instruction letter. We look forward to another stay in the near future. Creation station is a very unique, warm, and inviting space. My partner and I are both musicians and appreciated that there was a stage and instruments right there in the space. We also went for the enchanted forest walk behind the guest house when we returned back from seeing some live music at night – with the lights twinkling and the moon shining above, it was very magical. Apple the dog greeted us and played with my dog (which was great since he gets anxious when we’re away from home and does much better when he’s worn out). As a creative person, I really appreciate meeting other kindred folks, so meeting John was a real treat. Furthermore, I messaged John after I returned home and realized I’d left my cell phone charger, and I received it in the mail just a couple of days later. I would definitely stay here again.

I give this place 10/10. The house was amazing! It was immaculate and soo well stocked. The kitchen was free of any clutter but had everything we needed. The host was unbelievably responsive w/ anything we asked. We can’t wait to go back!

Ginny’s farmhouse was a perfect home away from home for our family (including our dog) visiting our daughter nearby. Everything was warm, comfortable, lived-in yet very clean, and best of all, Ginny was so responsive and flexible with us when the heavy snow changed our plans. We enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable beds, use of a full kitchen, record player, and games.

We came as a group of friends with a baby to stay at Blake and Tracy's house, and we had a great stay. They were very communicative and accommodated all our requests to ensure our stay was excellent. They asked in advance if it would be okay for their child to stay in his room inside the house, and we agreed. We didn’t see him at all during our stay, and it didn’t disturb us in the slightest. The fact that Blake and Tracy live right next door was convenient, as they were readily available for anything we needed, but we never felt their presence. We will definitely come back!

A great place to stay if attending an event at the big E. Short drive to the venue. Beautiful farm with beautiful trees and animals to interact with. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements and plenty of extra linens, blanket, pillows. Slept 3 grown men with ease. Would absolutely reserve again. Way better than any hotel. The hosts were great very nice people. Your on a farm, not at the Hilton, remember that while booking and you will not be disappointed. Loved this place!

It was very peaceful, great get away from the city. Good for the dogs. The copper tub is amazing, we could not get enough of it. And the dual showers felt so good. It felt very homey. Mr. John was a a great host.

I stayed at Katherine's during renovations on my house in a nearby town. I appreciated her flexibility and the fact that she also accommodated my dogs as the experience has been challenging for all of us. The location of Katherine's property is easy to find and very close to Brattleboro for most things you would need during your stay.

Anna, bubba (the cat), and I visited the crows nest for the second time (and my third). It was wonderful, we love staying at the crows nest! It feels like we’re right at home and our cat loves running up and down the stairs. Theres plenty of hiking to do around, which was super fun to do in the snow. Carol and Robin let us know about a possible parking ban and where to park if that occurred (in their driveway), which we really appreciated!

House is really awesome! We had a fantastic time. Definitely recommend.

I genuinely don't know what to say other than the fact that this may be one of the greatest places I've had the honor to lodge at. I did a lot of vetting across New England to find a wonderful place that could sleep a decent amount of people, provide a scenic and comfortable escape, and keep us entertained. Sarah's wonderful Stone and Sky Lodge exceeded every expectation I just listed. It's cozy, warm, and feels like a hidden nook! The scenery and nature couldn't be more beautiful. I never got the pleasure to meet Sarah, though I wish I did. Over messages and from what my friends told me, I just know that Sarah is the most hospitable and kind host that I've talked with in a while, and I hope that next time I can thank her personally. From my friends and I, we thank you for sharing your home with us. If you think that the excellent reviews are too good to be true, don't. This IS the truth, and I can't wait to have another reason to come back to this wonderful treasure of a place.

Jack and Donna's cabin was exactly as described. We loved our stay, so peaceful and quiet. Their rustic cabin has everything that we needed to enjoy a quick get away, beautiful surroundings and a warm fire for the chilly nights. Even though the cabin is off-the-grid, the lights (both solar and gas) were more than enough to provide light to read a good book and play some board games. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. We very much look forward to returning to this lovely place and exploring more of the area!

We had a great stay, Erik was a very communicative host and we really loved the place. Pretty remote but not far from great food options and surrounding things to do. We would definitely stay here again!

We liked the design, well light and uplifting setup. Heating can be uneven, but place gets very cosy Kitchen was great Laundry was great and stocked It is a steep climb to the second floor, but we enjoy two entrances at the front and directly to the back where cars parked. Parking is tight, you need to park behind the building, if you have more than one vehicle, some сastling moves. We managed to park 2 work trucks there though Recommend.

Enjoyed our stay. Frank and Manon greeted us and were very friendly. The place was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The refrigerator was very well stocked!! Highly recommend!!

This is our third time staying in one of Sue's Northampton properties (a different place each time) and, as always, the apartment was great. It's spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. The location is wonderful, with easy walking to everything, and Sue is an excellent host. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice stay for a family wedding. Sharing the house with two combined families in January and the house was great for this. There are rooms with 3-4 beds in each so if you are looking for bedroom privacy then this house probably isn’t it. That said, we are all family so was fun to bunk up! The area is beautiful and there r a great set of trails right at the end of the road for hiking, walking cross country skiiing etc. Overall, a great stay and Kimberly was very communicative with everything
