This cabin trip had been long anticipated and we were not disappointed at all. The hosts have been so friendly, responsive and accommodating. Nothing fell short of our expectations. The cabin was just as described. They've provided everything you would need and more. My husband and I booked it to spend with our children and grandchildren and it was perfect for our group. The bunkhouse was great! Much warmer than I expected. It's great for adults, no bathroom so wouldn't recommend for children. We also loved the setup of the fire pit and the extra lighting, since it does get pretty dark at night. We loved the pool table and board games they had. The hot tub was such a great way to end the day. Loved the upstairs shower! They really do have everything ready for their guests, towels, kitchen dining items, toiletries, coffee so we had no worries. It was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. For an Airbnb, they provided so much. We wish we had more time. Thank you so much!!

Wonderful weekend with the kids and the dog. Loved the hot tub and the game room. Lovely, cozy place to enjoy as a family.

Stayed over New Year’s Eve with friends. Marla was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed the place and especially the hot tub. Would stay here again.

Karin’s cabin: a Danbury delight! Her place provided the perfect “ingredients” for a restorative girls’ weekend. We loved enjoying the hot tub with views of the lake, playing board games while listening to music, cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, and watching wildlife on peaceful mornings. Karin thought of every detail, and decorated the cabin to perfectly match the North Woods setting. Not insignificantly, Karin is a responsive, kind host. If this place is available, don’t hesitate to book!

My friends and I needed a vacation from the mundane. This place was exactly what we needed. The perfect place to be holed up after a snowstorm that left 6+inches. It was warm and cozy and the decor is adorable.

This is a lovely spot that sleeps a group. We appreciated how well-appointed it is -lots of plates and glassware, ample towels and sharp knives! Lovely spot to watch the lake or walk around. We went into town for antique and art shopping.

This place is amazing! I stayed for 5 days in March - kind of an in between season - but it was just what I needed. Very peaceful, spectacular sunrises, and I even saw a bald eagle flying really close to the house. This is a beautiful lake home with all kinds of luxuries and a ton of space. I loved the soaking tub and the huge kitchen. I think my favorite thing of all was all the natural light that came in through all of the tall windows. I discovered that Chub Lake Retreat is only 6 miles from Jay Cooke State Park! I drove over there one day and saw the half frozen river and falls. The location of this lake home is ideal for anyone who'd like to explore Jay Cooke or Duluth. Not to mention Chub Lake! The property is large, so the neighbors are not too close. There's a hot tub and fire pit outside too! This is truly a great find. Don't hesitate to book!

Beautiful place in a secluded area on Moose Lake. We were there in winter and it was so quiet and peaceful. Nice newer-built lake cabin. All the basic necessities, including internet. Small, simple kitchen (no dishwasher). No laundry. Internet. TV. Nice wood-burning fireplace! Comfortable for one or two couples and two small kids with its three sleeping areas. Would rent again.

Jeff was very accommodating with any of our needs/requests, and the location was perfect for our trip requirements. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking you may wish to do during your stay as well, removing the need to go out to eat if you wish to. My familey and I look forward to another stay here everytime we will be visiting in the area in the future!

we absolutely loved the Hygge House and our stay there. Not only was it adorable and beautifully decorated, it was immaculately clean and Kaity and Brett were wonderful to work with-So kind and responsive. We even added on another day to our trip because we were loving it and needing the quiet and rest away from home. The Cable area is our favorite and we will definitely be back to this wonderful place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful getaway at this cabin. It was just what our family of five needed. Beautiful location, great & responsive hosts and time in nature can’t be beat! Would love to visit again in the future- our kids and dog had a wonderful time.

Brandi's place was perfect for Birkie weekend. A little bit of a drive to the course and events, but not too bad. The cabin was as advertised and Brandi was very responsive and a great host.

They nailed it when they said it was a peaceful, unplugged retreat. My partner and I really felt rested and rejuvenated after our stay. Everything was just as described. They were very communicative and helped with our check-in questions super quickly after I couldn't figure out the keypad on the door. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying at Alana’s spot in Hayward for a weekend skiing the Birkie! The beds were comfy, the view was beautiful and we especially loved the fireplace. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful trail side place. Loved being in nature with more than your standard camping amenities. Beautiful cabins, perfectly clean bathrooms and showers, sauna, accessible firewood, quiet, right on the trails — and lots of hooks inside! Loved everything about it!

The cabin was cozy and clean. It had kitchen tool essentials (silverware, plates/bowls, salt/pepper/tea, cleaning supplies). The bathroom was clean and a short, pretty walk from the cabin. Nice for a winter getaway in the woods but within a short drive to Washburn or other points on the South Shore.

Great little cabin for 4 adults. Very comfortable and clean. Host was very quick to respond and friendly. Had everything and looked just like the pictures. Super easy to find and very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great spot for a get away. Easy to get to from twin cities. Cabin is a “real” Cabin with lots of land. Loved the wood burning stove and sauna. Feels like a place where someone lives and uses, not an investment property. Owner was extremely responsive and you can see how much he cares about the property and your stay there. We were a couple but a family could stay depending on size/age of kids. Went in winter but other seasons when you can use more property could be fun.

We loved staying at Samantha's property. Communication was great, the cabin was clean and super cozy and had everything that we needed. This is a little gem up north and we would love to stay here again. The lake is beautiful and the rental comes with kayaks and other water toys. We kayaked to the local restaurant which was easy to get to and a very pretty, short paddle away. We loved sitting by the fire and they had ample firewood provided. Can't say enough about the experience!

Amazing place. Super cozy and comfortable. The wood burning stove and record player created a magical retreat for creating family memories. The loft is adorable and very spacious! The basement was way roomier than expected. All beds were very comfortable!! and a total hit with my kids. Communication was quick and easy and Naomi was great at checking in with us throughout our stay. Highly recommend!!!

Kevin's place was perfect in every way! The Homestead cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the perfect size for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family!
