Lake views from every room with Eagles, jumping fish, beautiful sunsets, great hot tub and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The only thing I would say is that there was a visiting dog not mentioned in the listing (the resident dog Hank is great!) that liked to bark at us while on the deck or even inside and one night ad wr were enjoying the hot tub there was quite a bit of shouting from the main house. Other than that, fantastic!

Our family’s favorite Airbnb ever! Comfortable, thoughtful amenities throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub & game room. Great home base from which to explore the magic of ONP and the northeastern peninsula.

Loved it! The host was very responsive and always helpful! We enjoyed utilizing the hot tub, grill, and fire pit which all were functional. The parking was great to fit all 3 cars we took. From the windows you could even see the water a bit! Great deal for what you are getting, I hope to enjoy another stay here soon!

A cozy place with everything you need in beautiful surroundings. Just 35 min drive to skiing at Mt. Baker, and we loved soaking in the hot tub after a long day on the mountain. Would absolutely book again!

This was by far one of the easiest and most comfortable Airbnb experiences I’ve had! The check in/out process was so easy, the house was clean and welcoming, and the hosts were extremely responsive. We had a lovely time around the fire pit and in the hot tub, as well as cooking as a group in their organized kitchen. Every kind of utensil or pot/pan we needed was available to us- ice was even premade in the freezer! I would 100% recommend this property and host to anyone seeking to stay in this area for any reason.

We had a lovely stay on Mayne in Kate's cozy cabin. The hot tub was great, and we loved the quiet forest setting. Mayne is also a nice island for cycling - fairly quiet roads, and slightly less hilly than some of the other Gulf Islands? An excellent spot for an extended weekend getaway!

Our stay at Brian's cabin was exactly perfect. The pellet stove is a great addition and it kept us toasty. Everything was as described and the check-in instructions made the cabin easy to find despite nearly being hidden even though it's right off the road. The fresh fruit, kitchen staples, and WA wine were nice touches that made our stay even more comfortable. We definitely want to come back, perhaps when it's warmer and we'll want to do river activities in addition to the hot tub.

We only stayed for a short 3 days. The place was easy to find and parking off road was nice. Very close to La Conner where you will find all the little shops and restaurants plus a fully stocked market. The views on the beach were amazing and the camp fire setting is very relaxing. Would stay again.

Our stay at Scott’s place for our 1 year anniversary was absolutely perfect. We are so happy we chose to stay outside of downtown Friday Harbor & got to enjoy the island for 3 nights. We will be back to stay here again in the future. Amazingly cozy bed, perfect deck to enjoy morning coffee, sooooo peaceful (soul healing) and we felt so welcome at Scott’s cabin. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for light bites & snacks between meals (for us) with an adorable retro refrigerator. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking to enjoy downtown Friday Harbor + all of the surrounding spots on the island ( Roche Harbor, Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm, Cattle point Road/lighthouse, English Camp, etc). Each stop felt like a very easy drive, and we saw so much unexpected beauty. Thank you very much to Scott and his wife for the PERFECT stay.

Very much enjoyed our stay. House update was great, very modern and tasteful. Plenty of hot water for the 6 of us. And enjoyed the kitchen, deck and fire pit.

The cottage was wonderful! It was a peaceful getaway and the perfect place to stay to explore Olympic National Park. Loved walking to the river and all the wildlife we saw in the yard.

Stayed for a weekend, Great cabin in the forest! There is neighbours but nothing to worry about with lots of tree cover around. super peaceful and quiet. The cabin was in great shape and clean. The hottub on the deck is a great addition.

This tiny little cabin was so fun to stay at during our visit at Mt. Baker. We enjoyed walking the property and cooking meals at the cabin. The bed was very comfy and the sheets were very high quality for an Airbnb. Check in was a breeze, cabin was easy to find and well marked. Excited to rent one of the other properties on site next time. Great stay! Thank you hosts!

Spent 10 nights as a solo writing retreat (with my wife joining me on the weekend). Perfect for this even in mid-November. Super livable small home, south-facing right on the lake, two lakeside wall almost all windows, so daylight was beautiful. Thought it might be cold inside in November but the house is snug; heats up nicely and there are no drafts. Brad and Lisa are excellent hosts: quick to respond, helpful and friendly. It’s abundantly clear how much they love the place. Lots of small but nice touches. And then there’s the lake. We stayed here in warm weather before and enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding and rowing. But even in cold weather the lake is a treat. Ducks, loons, sunrise sparkles, evening sunsets. I have only good things to say.

We had a great stay at the cabin! It is tucked in a super quiet neighborhood backed by trees and within close driving distance to everything. The house is fully stocked with everything you need - perfect for families as well. Every detail has been thought of. Thank you for being great hosts!

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is so cozy, we enjoyed the fireplace, watched movies, did smores on the fire pit. Everything was clean, and full of nice amenities.

Wow. Imagine arriving to a bnb that not only feels like home, but has ALL of the amenities of home. So often, bnb’s are bare bones. Not Jami and Ryan’s. The comfort level was off the charts. It was immediately clear that these hosts cared a great deal about ensuring their guests have everything they need to really drop in and enjoy their stay… i know we felt that way. 10/10 would stay again. The hosts were communicative, friendly and even reminded us of the alpenglow that happens around Mt.Baker during sunset. Thanks so much Jami and Ryan!

Cant begin to say enough great things about what a wonderful trip this home and Lake Cavanaugh was. If you’re looking for a quiet peaceful getaway with an amazing home on a pristine lake , this is your home . Looking forward to coming back.

We had the most wonderful time at Christine‘s place. Her cabin was pristine and spotless. Probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. She was super friendly and we would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay while hiking Mount Baker over the Labor Day weekend. The extra large hot tub and the fireplace were very relaxing. Our four year old loved climbing the ladder to the loft.
