Piwakawaka cottage is set amongst a beautiful property with expansive lawns, beautiful gardens and mature trees. We had a relaxing afternoon and evening after a big day driving, and our toddler enjoyed the running around on the lawn and playing on the swing. The cottage is cosy and has everything you need including comfortable beds, ensuite and kitchenette. Nicky is a super friendly and accommodating host, thank you Nicky!

Loved staying here, Pamela's guesthouse felt like home and had everything I needed to be comfortable. Also appreciated the breakfast and tea/coffee. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, tranquil spot, well set up studio and lovely hosts 😄 It would be hard to find a more pristine swimming hole!

We stayed in Chalet 3 at Cherie and Rodney’s place and are so happy with our choice. It was very peaceful and private sitting on our own deck overlooking the orchards and towards the sea. The chalet was very homely, spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The friendly sheep visited us often in the paddock straight off the deck. Cherie and Rodney’s place also had laundry facilities and a barbecue to share with the other two chalets. Parking was ample and easy to use. Our hosts were quick to respond to texts and very friendly when we needed help. This property is in a great location with easy access to Abel Tasman NP and the lovely towns on the coast. We particularly enjoyed the short walk to the Riwaka Resurgence. We hadn’t heard of this gem before but it was highly recommended by Cherie and Rodney. Don’t miss it! We highly recommend staying at Cherie and Rodney’s. If it’s available, grab it!

Lovely place to stay with a friendly host. Not too far from Nelson and surrounding attractions but feels amazingly private and peaceful - and we loved being able to say hello to the cows! Pool was a great facility for hot summer afternoons and the cottage had everything we needed and nice spacious rooms.

Leider mussten wir unseren Aufenthalt stornieren, da die Küche nicht so ausgestattet war, wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, und der Garten nicht dem entsprach, was wir auf den Fotos gesehen hatten. Allerdings möchten wir betonen, dass der Gastgeber absolut fair und verständnisvoll reagiert hat. Ohne Probleme wurde uns der gesamte Betrag erstattet, was wir sehr zu schätzen wissen. Die Kommunikation war schnell und freundlich. Daher gibt es trotz unserer kurzfristigen Abreise 5 Sterne für den hervorragenden Service!

It was a wonderful stay at Robert's. The cabin was immaculately clean. Robert was on site to meet us and was extremely friendly and welcoming. The property itself was spacious enough for us, without being too big. Everything was well stocked too, some milk in the fridge a nice touch. Had two gorgeous dogs that lived there and wander the grounds, so soft and were excellent with our two boys. We extended our stay as we were very happy with location and property. Would happily stay again.

I booked Heather's place for my 94 year old mother while visiting Nelson for two months. She absolutely loved her stay in Heather's flat, with the additional bonus of Heather's warmth and attentiveness - nothing was too much trouble. Rebecca’s place is immaculately presented with modern fit out, fixtures and appliances. The bathroom and kitchen are some of the best I have seen. It has a great view and is isolated from surrounding noise. A perfect location for a group of 4.

Difficult to cover in a few words what a great find this was. We stayed for 3 weeks and felt at home straight away. It had everything we needed for a peaceful holiday, visiting family locally but also having our own space. We felt immediately and warmly welcome, but not intruded upon; the facilities were simple but superb, the bed was comfortable and the views were amazing - we could never tire of them.

Sally and Bruce's place was absolutely wonderful! A great place to call home during our road trip (especially after a very long day of hiking in Abel Tasman). Not to mention, the bed was very comfortable! We had the best time.

Shevaun's place was so clean and comfortable, with many thoughtful extras provided. We were welcomed so well - with the lights on when we arrived, a welcome message on the fridge and a complimentary bottle of wine. It was a great shower, comfy bed, and peaceful and private. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely choose the Sunset Cottage again. Thank you Shevaun.

James and Nat are two very nice people who makes you comfortable. The Airbnb was clean and cosy with really everything you need in it. There was items for the breakfast and this was really appreciate. We didn't heard a thing about them even if they are living in the house next to the Airbnb and the neighboord is very calm. We recommend this place if you need to rest or like us avoid the Rain while travelling in Van, it was perfect.

Jeannie and Dobbie were very welcoming and friendly. We got a tour of their lovely gardens and even got to try some eggs from their hens. The cottage is as described and perfect for two people. There are many great walks in the area as well as bike paths. Highly recommend.

Mein Freund und ich hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und entsprach der Beschreibung in der Anzeige. Der Zugang zum See war wirklich traumhaft. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lynette's Airbnb in Ruby Bay, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Lynette and Suki made us feel incredibly welcome. Her communication was clear, friendly, and thoughtful. She was always available and went out of her way to ensure our comfort, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. One of the highlights of our stay was Lynette’s amazing local recommendations. She shared some hidden gems in the area that we wouldn't have discovered on our own. Lynette's suggestions allowed us to experience Ruby Bay like locals and made our trip even more memorable. If you're looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway with a wonderful host who really cares about her guests, we can't recommend Lynette's place in Ruby Bay enough. It is a true gem and we can’t wait to return.

A clean, well-appointed base camp for exploring the region. About equidistant from the mail boat ride out of Havelock and the southern access to Abel Tasman National Park. Nelson itself was a revelation of good restaurants, an interesting regional museum, and a lovely beach just down the hill from the Airbnb. Ales and Michelle were stellar hosts, responsive and friendly. The house was just right for two, with an efficient kitchen set-up, great amenities and a fabulous view of the beach, the bay, and the mountains beyond. Would definitely stay there again.

Host very nice showing us around. Beautiful area with farm animals next door but close to town as well. Clean and functional spa (ie jets worked, pretty rare at rentals) much appreciated after hiking the Queen Charlotte.

What a wonderful, relaxing place to stay! Surrounded in beautiful gardens and scenery, Woodmans Den is a real 5 star find. We were a couple travelling with grown up daughter and we all loved the space, wood burning stove and outdoor hot tub to star gaze. Here everything is very high quality, linen bedding and very comfortable leather seating. A perfect 5 star place

This was not my first stay so I knew it was exactly what I needed. As expected, it was comfortable, warm, safe and conveniently located with friendly but not intrusive hosts. Also a bonus is their dog who is very sweet and also friendly!

We loved our stay for two nights , peaceful location , but still handy to everything . Lovely bnb , really comfortable bed! Would highly recommend. Craig and Rebecca are great hosts.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rivington Cottage. Sally and Ian made us feel right at home and were so accomodating to our children. We had loads of fun playing Nerf battles through the garden and on the tennis court. The cottage itself was perfect with beautiful views lots of space and the perfect get away for some much needed quality family time Would recommend to anyone :) Thank you Sally and Ian for an amazing weekend away !
