Veena is a great host, she responded quickly and was very helpful. The home was clean and neat and had everything we needed. This home can accommodate a large group easily, with 7 adults it didn’t feel like we were ever fighting for space. We stayed during the Des Moines marathon. Between the deck space, the spacious upstairs, and the living spaces there was more than enough room to come together or separate and relax. The house is located just outside of downtown and there is a grocery store close by. We were fortunate to be able to eat home cooked meals for most of our time there thanks to all of the amenities. We brought a propane tank to use the grill one night and cooked up many meals in advance. This is a great choice for families or groups!

We rented the house for my grand daughters second birthday so all of the family could be together while going to the zoo and botanical gardens. The house was perfectly set up for toddlers in the space downstairs while also having a great set up for our older children and us adults. Hanchaltuu was amazing and I will definitely be using her again if I need to stay in Des Moines for any reason.

This is my 3rd time staying here. Very clean Airbnb! Welcomes pets!

This is one of those fantastic "small but mighty" houses! It was exactly what we needed and was as expected. The location to the fairgrounds is fantastic, which is what we wanted. The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again given the chance!

What a beautiful welcoming home. This place was fantastic! The location was ideal and everything we needed to have the best Thanksgiving. We loved all of the space and privacy this lot had and the dogs loved it too! I come across a lot of places that seem to be missing the necessities you need for a comfortable stay, but this place has everything you could ever need. Thank you all for being great hosts!

The place was extremely clean and clutter free. The fenced in back yard was great to allow pets to have some freedom. Location was close to anything that you would need.

Stayed a week for the State Fair. Very clean, well stocked and mostly new/renovated. Beds were comfy. One was considerably low to the floor, about 8”, a little tuff getting up & down. The driveway and street is narrow. Neighbors parked on street made backing out difficult with large truck. Disappointed with the screened in back patio. It was uncharacteristically dirty with leaves and debris. Washer & dryer in basement, well lit and very clean. WiFi worked great. Plenty of hot water. We would stay again.

Great place to stay! Highly recommend. It has everything I needed + more. There was a few glitch things that happened that Josiah addressed right away making it as smooth as possible. Thank you! Would stay here again.

My wife and I frequently visit family in the area and found this wonderfully furnished apartment with a great view from the second floor. The beds are firm and comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and is open to the family room. When visiting West Des Moines this is our preferred place to stay.

We did not spend a lot of time as we were in town for an event. HOWEVER it was very comfortable and allowed us to have extra time with our family when we were at the condo. It was close to Jordan Creek and anything you would need.

Awesome stay! Perfect area for food and shopping! Definitely recommend to any of my colleagues when working again in the area!

Great location in West Des Moines. Perfect to two guys on a golf trip: Two beds, two baths, nice kitchen, clean, and a private garage (safe to keep your expensive clubs in overnight) that is very close to the apartment. I would highly recommend.

Great location...close to food, shopping and the RecPlex. Townhouse was immaculate and exactly like the pictures. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.

Second visit was just as great as the first! Great place! Josiah was helpful with anything we needed during our stay. Hope to visit again in the future!

Amy’s place is a gem of a bungalow! We walked in to a spotless home filled with welcoming note, a basket of dog goodies to use while we were there, and well stocked human treats as well! The cozy, warm and tasteful Iowa State Fair inspired theme has so many surprising touches. From the well curated book shelf, to the bin of kids activities, the body bath, shampoo and conditioner, she thought of absolutely everything. We appreciated the abundance of fluffy towels including bath sheets, the numerous throw blankets, and comfortable mattress and pillows. You truly need to bring nothing. The home has a modern farmhouse feel to it, including an adorable game shed in the back yard with a table and games. Our dogs appreciated the fenced in back yard, & treats. Aly, clearly a dog mom, welcomes furry friends. She also has the cutest guest book for humans AND a separate one for your pets with recommendations and even dog sitting. 3 TV’s and fans all clearly labeled for use were great! Love

Our stay at the Love Shack was wonderful! Beds were comfortable and the entire space was relaxing. Stayed with a large group of family but there was plenty of space for everyone. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Tiffany was very responsive to requests about restaurants and I would definitely stay again if I'm ever in Des Moines

Molly was a great host and very helpful when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable for our family. Her home was very clean, the furniture was really comfortable, and the home was on an active farm surrounded by beautiful and peaceful farm land. The home is also only about 10 minutes to Adel which has a cute little downtown area with several resturants and only about a half hour to the West end of Des Moines which had a lot of shopping and activity. It was a perfect stay for us.

It's quiet little bungalow on the edge of the city yet easy access to downtown. It's very well provisioned--the reading nook was an unexpected surprise. Jane stopped by for a chat and we really enjoyed getting to meet her. It's a great little place and we enjoyed landing there for the night.

The home had lots of character, very clean, and spacious. It was perfect to stay there with my family and still be able to have privacy within the home. The host communicated very well and was friendly with their responses!

Derek’s Airbnb was a perfect place for our family. We were in Des Moines from Colorado with our dog for my mother in laws memorial service. It was very convenient for family to gather to be together after the service and the younger kids loved the game room downstairs. Beds and sheets were comfortable and the place was very clean. I especially liked the natural light in the kitchen with the big windows and skylight. Great fenced yard for the dog and easily walkable to Valley Junction and park for the dog as well. Slept 4 adults and one toddler quite comfortably. Derek was so quick to respond to any requests I had! I would highly recommend Derek’s home for comfort, convenience and price.

Great spot for an overnight in Des Moines. Was in town for a show and location was wonderful, home was clean and well-equipped. Fun tech like fancy toilets, easy WiFi access, easy to use locks. Loved the Waveland for breakfast across the street. Super friendly and responsive hosts!
