Being pet friendly and having a large fenced in area for them to run around in was very nice.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay. The house is spacious and wonderful. Having a private beach just up the road was amazing. We dug clams and made our own chowder. It doesn’t get better than that! Except maybe Bob and Hannah’s friendliness and care. We’ll remember our stay at the Flat River Farmhouse for a long, long time.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Mark and Mary Ellen's. They were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The cottage was equipped with literally everything you could think of to make yourself right at home. The kids LOVED exploring the beach each day or just playing in the yard and the hot tub. The trip to Charlottetown was very close and we were able to explore downtown and enjoy plenty of great seafood spots. Thank you so much for a great vacation!!

Wonderful relaxing place for the 2 of us. Tubs and Hot tub are extremely nice. Room for 6. We cooked, grilled, and relaxed. It was a perfect place to stay for us. 2 bathrooms, but only 1 shower. Something for a larger group to be aware of.

Lots of nice touches: lights on when we arrived, snacks (even milk and yogurt!), shampoo, board games, etc. It is not super clear from the listing, but the shower is at an angle, quirk of an old farmhouse. Taller people won't find it all that comfortable . We were also very excited about the hot tub, but less excited to realize it was around the back of the house. On a slippery cold winter day we chose to not take advantage. Overall this is a solid pick and I would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! James is an excellent host - easy to communicate with and very helpful with anything we needed during our stay. His home is beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Just a short walk from the beach! Would definitely recommend.

This place was absolutely beautiful. We were fortunate the rain stayed away until late in the evening so we enjoyed the beautiful sunny day. Hit the town for a relaxing walk before retreating to the chalet for a nice bbq and drinks on the patio as we watched all the boats passing by on the water. The inside was immaculate and the hot tub was an amazing way to end the night. Our host was quick to respond to questions and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Was a great way to spend a 1 year anniversary 😊

Tamzin & Ryan have thought of every detail for guests. The house was beautiful - well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, games indoor and outdoor for all ages, and the most perfect yard to keep families entertained. They provided added personal touches, such as treats for our group of hockey kids. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating, and checked in throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. We all absolutely loved this property and can not wait to visit again next year with our group!

Hubble & I just spent 4 days at Laura's Landing. We were on Isle Madame to visit old friends & do some sightseeing. The house is great - very clean, well-provisioned, & in a terrific location - just a 5-minute walk from Pondville Beach. The few near neighbours seemed friendly & quiet, and there was almost no traffic since the house is essentially at the end of a road. The master bedroom was especially comfortable - with soft sheets, warm bedding, & a perfectly firm mattress. The other beds seemed comfy as well. The dining room was spacious & inviting - a good place to gather with loved ones over a meal! Water views from inside the house were limited unfortunately, but views from the yard & deck would be lovely in warmer weather. Guests may want to know that cell service can be a bit unreliable at times but the wifi works great. In summary, we enjoyed our time at Laura's Landing & would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing home base on Isle Madame! Thanks so much Daphne!

Patti was a wonderful host. The view from the living room/ kitchen area was stunning. We will definitely try to book this property if we’re in the area again!

My friends and I stayed in Amanda’s upper apartment and really loved our time there. We arrived late at night and couldn’t find the key in the dark — it would have been very easy to find in the day lol. We called Amanda and she was so friendly and helpful despite how late it was. Throughout the day, we were at SOMMO Festival — a bit of a drive but we didn’t mind at all since we loved Amanda’s place so much! If you’re touring the island, it would be amazing since it’s only 35 minutes from Avonlea Village/Cavendish. I’m not sure if anyone was staying on the lower floor; if they were, we never heard or saw them. We had total privacy. The beds were comfortable and we all had an amazing sleep each night. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We stay at a lot of AirBnBs. This may have been my personal favorite as it reminded me of home at Paxson Lake in Alaska. Beautiful views, fires under the stars and just a short drive from town this spot is everything you want amd nothing you don't.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Darlene’s beautiful home. It was peaceful and the well furnished deck facing the water was gorgeous. We watched the sunrises and sunsets and all the birds kept us entertained. It’s a great location - short drive to downtown.

Martina's place was perfect for our honeymoon. We stayed there a week and it's just what you need for 2 people. The location was fantastic with being on the water, and not in the bustle of the real touristy areas. Nice and out of the way, but still only 1.5 hours from all the Anne of Green Gables stuff and 45 minutes to Charlottetown. Blossom was great fun. We didn't have time to do any biking of the confederation trail, but we made use of the kayaks one morning and had a bonfire one night. Martina was super helpful with providing wood for a bonfire and giving us suggestions on places to go/things to see in the area/on the island.

Lovely accomodation. Peaceful, clean, and spacious with well-thought-out kitchen, furnishings and amenities. A must stay while visiting this beautiful corner of the world.

Great location and view. Very clean and well stocked accommodation. Everything you need is provided. Amazing Linden tree in the yard. Enjoyed the fire pit.

We had a great stay at Valerie’s. A perfect location to spend time with friends off the grid. The home is spacious with everything you would need. We had 11 adults there comfortably. Valerie was quick to respond with any questions we had. We hope to be back!

The cabin was quaint and charming, cosy and peaceful. Paddle boat was a fun bonus and the included firewood for our private firepit was a great added touch! Local recommendations and very friendly hosts made our stay really lovely. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Jacks Cabin. It was a very nice little camp ground and the cabins were a great way to go “glamping”. Jack was very helpful with anything we needed during our stay.

Great hosts who came to the unit as they saw us pull in to give us some helpful instructions. They even dropped off an extra bin of firewood as ours was damp from the weekend of rain. Highly recommend this place, it was beautiful! Perfect covered shelter for our rain filled stay that enabled us to enjoy to view while staying dry

We loved our stay at Jack's place! Jack was kind, responsive and accommodating. I felt very comfortable during our stay. All grounds keepers met me with a smile. Our dog was happy to explore. Confederation trail runs along the property which is nice for those wanting a convenient walk! The cabin was exactly what we needed after 12 days of tenting. The common area was full of character with lots to do, pool table, treadmill, piano, old school video games, etc. An interesting place to be for sure. The bathrooms and showers we're clean and refreshing. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Jack :)

We absolutely loved our stay at cabin #4. I have stayed at similar cabins in Nova Scotia, but this one was truly something special. While the other reviews correctly point out that the walls in the bedrooms don’t go all the way to the ceiling, there is an entryway between the rooms and we found them adequately private. The cabin was beautiful and rustic and the setting was unbeatable. We hope to be back, and for longer next time!
