Antigua-et-Barbuda : locations de vacances avec kayak

This was perhaps the loveliest house we’ve rented. Delightfully unique layout, covered walkways between the bedroom areas, well separated from one another, offering privacy, each with ensuite facilities. Wood touches throughout were utterly charming. 2 spacious porches front and back where we had meals. The pretty country-style kitchen was well-equipped. Views even better than pictured. There was a hitch with the code checking in but Valincy kindly stayed to wait for our late arrival. We appreciated another reviewer’s tip that we stop en route from the airport to buy immediate provisions and the Gourmet Basket more than met our needs. More than a helpful tip, I would say it is imperative. Driving is a challenge, especially after dark. Fenella catered two sumptuous dinners for us, a special treat. We didn’t use the jetty. (Entrance/exit from the water might be a challenge for some.) The pool was perfect. Gary always responded immediately. This is a unique, delightful house.

We were a three-generation family group, belatedly celebrating a golden wedding. From first to last, Edward's response to questions and provision of information was impeccable. Cherry and Sorrell collected us from the airport (as we'd arranged) and showed us round this stunningly beautiful house. The pictures on line do it justice. It really is as good as it looks. We did have a couple of frustrating problems - but I won't detail them here as they were unique to our trip, are highly unlikely to recur, and what impressed us was the way the problems were addressed. We rented the car that was on offer from the property, and really appreciated the golf buggy. The resort itself is wonderful, particularly the access to watersports and the beach, though the restaurants on the resort are absurdly expensive (unless you are staying there on an all-inclusive deal). As a result, when we ate out we chose to go away from the resort. This was a magnificently memorable holiday. Totally recommended.

Perfect place to stay and unwind. Arno’s is a great host & a very nice chap….. Everything detail has been thought of & he is always available if required. Went on one of his boat trips including fishing & snorkelling…. It was terrific…. Everything Terrific….. couldn’t recommend highly enough. Many thanks Live long and prosper Roger :)

Kenneth’s place is located on beautiful , secluded grounds, with swaying palm trees everywhere and a starry sky at night! Has amazing terrace outside , where friendly birds come every morning and practically eat from your hand :-) The apartment itself was quite simple, bed was comfy and shower had a great pressure and never a shortage of hot water. Kitchen and living room area could use a little tlc. Thanks for having us Ken

Barbuda is a place for peaceful pristine beaches, and adventure if you choose to seek it. This house located right on the beach offers access to both. A couple minutes walk brings you to the best restaurant on the island, Uncle Roddys. There is the best beach in the world right down the road 8 min drive away. Princess Diana beach, with calm lapping waves, and white sand. You’ll possibly be the only one there. Grab some drinks at shak-a-Kai , let Enoch know in advance and you can have lobster or chicken right on the beach. At the house, we enjoyed its peacefulness, shell hunting along the beach, and use of the kayak. Mr. Thomas let us rent his car for the week, and any questions or issues we had he was helpful. He came right down and helped an internet issue, and when we had a flight issue at the airport when leaving, Mr Thomas personally came down to help, and let us stay another night when we needed. I can’t say enough good about their hospitality to us, and the beauty of their isle.

Rochelle and Mike were wonderful hosts, extremely hospitable from check in to check out. Their home was a great base for day trips and just a short drive to English Harbour for dinner or groceries. While the roads were not the easiest to navigate, the Jeep Rochelle organized for us to have during our stay was extremely helpful in getting to/from the main road. And the views over the bay were beautiful :)
