Would book this place again in a heartbeat. Eleuthera is a special place that I could go on and on about. (Family of 4, 8 and 10 year old girls, you will have a great time if you have a sense of adventure and want to explore. A break from the typical resort experience). The deck on the back of Kathy's house, the view of the Caribbean (and the crazy bright stars at night), and the quality of the home were incredible. Kathy is a great host and Wallace was right on point on all fronts (we had a nail in a tire on the rental car and this legend dropped us off a different car, had the tire repaired, and swapped it out while we were at dinner like it never happened). Book with confidence. One comment I would point out for folks visiting the island for the first time, like us, is that there are fewer restaurants and creature comforts staying in the north. Governor's Harbor to the south is more populated and has more to offer as far as restaurants, markets, etc. if that is what you want.

Amazing cottage right on a delightful swimming bay -- perfect for me and my friend to spend a few days doing nothing but being in the ocean. Can't get much more right-on-the-beach than this -- and the wave level was perfect for hour after hour of swimming. There's a relatively sedate daytime scene from the restaurant next door -- not dead silent, but the tradeoff is easily accessible good food. Corrine was very friendly and responsive, and the banana bread was indeed delicious -- try it with crunchy peanut butter! Certainly would return without hesitation for a few days of wintertime paradise.

This is our third year getting a house in Florida for a few weeks, and this was by far the best. First, the house. It was spacious, yet cozy at the same time. The two main bedrooms had large beds and were very comfy. I used the third bedroom as an office. The backyard was private with a pool. The front porch was great for people watching. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a meal. But If you don’t feel like cooking, this neighborhood has you covered. This house was the perfect location. Nice and quiet, yet less than a five minute walk to the beach and lots of restaurants—from fancy to casual. Also, after dinner, I suggest some ice cream at Kilwin’s, which is right around the corner from the house. Or take a 15 minute walk over the bridge and check out The Cove. Lots of restaurants and a great brewery. All in all, we loved our stay. Our hosts were always available to answer questions and take care of any of our needs. We can’t wait to return next year!

Traumhafte Unterkunft! Die Terasse, der Ausblick, die Kolibris - wir hatten sogar grüne Leguane hinter dem Haus. In einer lebhaften Nachbarschaft, aber trotzdem ganz privat und im Grünen. Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Vana. Tout était parfait ! L’emplacement idéal les pieds dans l’eau, nous nous sommes ressourcés après un début de séjour un peu « maladif ». Si nous devions choisir parmi les 3 logements que nous avons loué pendant notre séjour, ce serait celui de Vana, sans hésitation.

We had an amazing week at Exuma Beach Bungalow 1! The bungalow was updated and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. The location can’t be beat! The beach is right out your front door and there are two dedicated lounge chairs just for you! We walked the beach just a little past the resort and found Jolly Hall Beach which was absolutely stunning! We didn’t rent a car so we took the Hideaways shuttle (Marvin is awesome!) to town and got some groceries. We ate breakfast and lunch in the bungalow most days and ate at the on-site restaurant, Splash, a few times for dinner. Janetta, the housekeeper, checked on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. She is an amazing ray of sunshine! I can’t say enough good things about this property and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful island of Exuma.

Such a charming and beautiful bungalow surrounded by peaceful gardens. It was perfect. Very relaxing. And the host was very helpful and friendly.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans le bungalow de Cathy. Celle-ci nous a reçu de façon très professionnelle avec toutes les informations nécessaires à la réussite de notre séjour. Nous la remercions pour les cadeaux de bienvenue. Nous avons pu prendre possession du logement avant l'heure prévue ce qui était très appréciable. Malheureusement nous nous sommes aperçus que le trajet en voiture vers et de Baie-Mahault était très compliqué à certaines heures de la journée. On y perd vite 20 à 30 minutes dans les bouchons. Par contre aucun souci pour accéder à la côte ouest de Basse-Terre.

Endroit très bien tenu. Hôtes discrets, mais présents. Parfait pour un séjour où on souhaite partager notre temps entre activités et moments de détentes . Nous y avons passé un séjour très agréable. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation. Merci

Die Unterkunft entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Gaelle und Julien haben uns in Pointe Noire abgeholt und zur Hütte oberhalb des Ortes begleitet, so dass auch hier alles einfach klappte. Wir haben die Zeit etwas abseits vom Trubel sehr genossen.

Très bon séjour ! Annick, hôte très agréable et réactif ! Logement magnifique, correspond aux photos et à la description, je recommande grandement, je reviendrai avec plaisir ! N’hésitez pas à booker votre séjour.

Un petit coin de paradis… Magnifique jardin extrêmement bien entretenu que l’on pouvait admirer de la terrasse. Piscine au top, avec une vue mer exceptionnelle, surtout au lever du soleil… Chambre et sdb impeccables, très jolie décoration. Et que dire des parents de Jean-Larie qui vivent sur place : accueillants, souriants et discrets… Mon seul regret : n’être restée que 3 jours….
