Zack was a great host and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed a range of wintertime activities and then relaxed in a clean, well-appointed cabin together. For visitors in the wintertime - be prepared for winter weather conditions, including deep snow. It's a great getaway and I'd love to see it in the summertime too!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakefront cottage in Elk Rapids! The location is perfect with stunning views of the lake, and we especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring. The cottage was clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. The host was fantastic—communication was quick and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would love to return in the future! Highly recommend!

We stayed at Kelly’s place over the week of Christmas to visit family and it was amazing. Beautiful views, which is what we initially came for. So peaceful and serene. We watched ducks and walked the beach and found stones and seashells, which my kids loved. Our family stopped by for a short while to visit and they all couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the house was. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back one day! Thanks for everything!

We had a great time with family, 4 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were cozy. Beautiful, private space right on the trails. Andreia was friendly. Very easy to check in and out. Highly recommend.

This location was perfect for our winter get away. Check in was easy, the house was clean and ready for us to enjoy time with our family. We were a group of 8 people, four adults and four children. there was space for all of us to spread out and enjoy time inside as well as outdoors. Beds were extremely comfortable! The cabin was located close to many activities such as shopping in Gaylord and snowtubing at Boyne Mountain. Andreia was helpful in providing suggestions for things to do. our group enjoyed using the club house pool as well. overall our stay was perfect. I would absolutely book this same cabin again for another family vacation.

The house was easy to find but I was looking for a yellow house- not blue lol. The yard could’ve used a mow- but thankfully we kept busy at the beaches to play outside at the house. Very clean and spacious! The host gave clear instructions and was easy to get a hold of if needed.

Kristi was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the location, the hot tub and sauna, and the home immensely. Our boys loved running in the snow outside, playing with the provided puzzles and games, and cozying up after a long day of skiing! Any issues or concerns were promptly addressed and handled by Kristi within minutes. We will definitely look at staying here first for our next trip! Thanks for such a wonderful time :)

We had a great stay here! The location is perfect and there is so much to do. We loved waking up in the mornings and watching the wildlife from the deck. Our toddler loved the sand pit and provided sand toys. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay with our dog and two young kids. Beautiful location, full of amenities, and very comfortable. Shawn was very responsive, helpful, and had great recommendations. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Torch lake. Ryan was a great host - very responsive who left very good instructions, recommendations for restaurants things to do in the area. The home is very clean and well supplied. The pontoon is very nice.

We needed to bring Thanksgiving to the area where our parents live but needed extra space so we rented this cabin. Very secluded but not alone (there are other cabins around). It was just great, very cozy during a couple of cold snowy nights! Very well outfitted, especially the full size kitchen. We brought a few things with us worried that the kitchen may not have everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner but it did! Great communication from the hosts at all times, but we never needed anything. We would happily go back again, hopefully in the summer, what a beautiful spot overlooking Starvation Lake.

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

We stayed here with our family of 6 for a February snowmobile trip. It’s cute and very clean. Very peaceful in the winter and plenty of parking even with a 33’ trailer. It’s a beautiful spot on the river. Summer and fall would be amazing for a family vacation. The owner was great with communication and making sure we were taken care of. We had no issues.

Cute, cozy cottage for our trip to northern Michigan for the ICEMAN MTB race. House was well stocked (Bluetooth music speakers, laundry soap, plenty of towels and extra blankets). We enjoyed our stay and of the three houses we stayed in for this annual trip, this was the cleanest and most convenient location. Thank you for being pet friendly too.

Gorgeous lake property! The cabin is so cute and rustic, and definitely conveys the peaceful simplicity of days gone by. The kitchen amenities are good since we ate in many nights. The bedrooms are spaced nicely apart, were clean, comfortable and the kids especially loved the bunks with the wide assortment of books and games! It doesn't have a TV - which is a good thing - so we just used out ipads and connected to the WIFI for those times when the kids were tuckered out and just needed some quiet time. It's a great location and walkable to downtown Alden. The sunsets are stunning with lots of seating and tables outside to enjoy! Chris is very friendly and super responsive and when I sent messages, he immediately responded. A great host!! We thoroughly enjoyed our week on Torch!! (We also rented a pontoon from Chris which worked out great since we were able to enjoy the sandbar at the South end of the lake).

Perfect place for a Northern Michigan trip and experience. Fully stocked cottage, beautiful Lake and beach. Cute small town charm in Central Lake and Bellaire. Fishing swimming bon fires so much wild life. Kids loved the bunk beds!

2nd time for us and will definitely come back again. The wrap around deck allowed us to have coffee in the am without disturbing anyone else. The river and surrounding area is so peaceful and calm. Great accomodations and beautiful view.

Very close to Torch Lake , with plenty of Parking for the Tri Toon and Truck , walking distance to everything in town , we had a blast at Torch Lake , and look forward to coming back , Thank you Jess

We had an amazing experience at the cottage! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, the private dock was perfect for cooling off and taking our canoe out. Kevin and Pat were amazing hosts They left us little goodies/snacks and we had plenty of coffee, cream, sugar etc for us to enjoy on the screened in porch! The beds were super cozy and the ac unit and fans did their job when we needed them. All around we reccomend this place to anyone looking for a cozy stay in an absolutely beautiful location! We would 100% stay here again.

Second stay at this wonderful cottage! It has everything. The lake, the location, the cottage is the very essence of northern Michigan with all the updates for comfort. Going to sleep with the waves is perfect! Weldon is a fantastic host It has everything.
