The tree houses are amazing and the setting simply stunning. We arrived after dark and received a very warm welcome with dinner waiting for us. The people at Back of Beyond are delightful, keen to share their knowledge of the area and make their guests have a great time. Great place for an adventure and as a base for exploring the caves and Sigiriya etc.

Alba and her Partner Manolo were great hosts: always super helpfull, friendly and attentively. They gave us good advice and helped us with organizing trips to Sigiriya, Kaudulla, Dambulla and Pollonaruwa. To visit all this sites Sat Nam Village is the best place to stay! Cause after an exhausting trip you can relax perfectly in the beautiful garden in a hammock under a tree or in the brandnew pool. And don’t forget the fooood! We really enjoyed the rice and curry prepared by one of the lovely ladies who are working on the property! It was delicious. If you need some variation they also offer great Spanish food prepared by Alba herself! We totally enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back and can highly recommend Sat Nam Village for a cultural but at the same time very relaxing stay!

Die Hotelzimmer und das Restaurant sind familiengeführt. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen sind äußerst lecker und üppig. Es stehen auch Gesellschaftsspiele zur Verfügung. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sie unterstützen bei der Planung von Ausflügen. Unsere Klimaanlage war abends defekt, der Gastgeber selbst kam um 23:30 Uhr raus, um sich die Klimaanlage anzuschauen und keine 12 Stunden später war der Elektriker vor Ort, um es zu reparieren. Bravo! Weiter so! Ein toller Platz zum Verweilen, ich kann ihn nur empfehlen!

Follow the pin on google maps, it is where it says on the map - but no clear sign is visible outside the property. The property is close to the road, where there are a few restaurants and shops. It is very easy to get a tuk-tuk from the main road if you want to go further. Despite being close to the road, the property is quiet and very peaceful. It looks onto a small pool of water and is surrounded by greenery. There are some lovely quiet road to walk around and meander past the lakes. Very pretty and lots of wildlife. Sometimes it can get into the room too - we found the occasional frog or lizard bouncing around, which is fine for nature lovers like us, but might not be for everyone! The hosts were very welcoming, extremely polite and respectful. We highly recommend the food too - it’s delicious! This is a really well priced room in a quiet location. Only downside is a few noisy dogs nearby, they are loud but not usually aggressive.

Very clean, comfortable, A/C in the rooms. Good breakfast, clean and organised kitchen. Flexible and welcoming hosts. Attractive price. We were a party of 11 and we took 5 rooms. We all fully recommend the location We did not have a chance to get dinner at Green Hut so we cannot comment on dinner options. However if you take a tuktuk for 300 LKR to the centre of village there’s plenty of restaurant choices.

메니저와 직원들은 너무나도 친절했고 관광지나 모든 주변에 대한 정보를 친절하게 알려주었다. 숙소는 깨끗하고 주변의 자연경관 또한 훌륭했으며 캔디로가는 버스정류장이 일분 거리에 있어 편안했고 직원들은 버스정류장까지 배웅해주었다. 너무나도 친절하고 아름다운 위치의 숙소에 머무를 수 있어서 우리가족에게 큰 행복을 주었다. 너무 감사합니다

Merci beaucoup à Nathasha pour son accueil très chaleureux dans cet hôtel paisible, en bord de lac. Nous avons été accueillis avec un très bon jus de pastèque. Les repas proposés sont excellents. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Nous avons pu nous baigner dans la piscine au moment du coucher de soleil, ce qui a été un moment unique. Nous recommandons.

Die Unterkunft ist ein sehr schöner Ort. Der Ausblick ist wunderbar und wenn man Glück hat kan man Elfefanten beobachten. Besonders toll ist das hilfbereite und stets freundliche Personal . Frühstück & Abendessen sind lecker und vielfältig. Die Zimmer besitzen über einen tollen Ausblick und sind modern eingerichtet. Der Pool und das Restaurant sind älter aber haben den gewissen Charme und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel und deshalb ist es ruhiger. Unser Aufenthalt war toll! Danke :)

Het was een super verblijf! De hosts waren super vriendelijk en de kamer zag er super uit! Alles was nieuw! Ze hadden zelfs een restaurant met veel keuzes, dus na een late aankomst hebben we nog lekker gegeten.

Wir haben zwei tolle Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfreich. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern und schön gelegen. Man gelangt einfach nach sigiriya. Das Frühstück Vorort ist auch sehr gut. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und werden wieder kommen. Nur zu empfehlen

Linton is a great host. He has built the property himself with lots of love. we loved the undisturbed natural surroundings of the property. The tree top open rooms were unique, Sleeping with the jungle noises is a experience not to be missed. Linton was very helpful with our food choices. Since we are pure vegetarian and do not eat meat, fish or eggs, and do not prefer eating in mixed kitchens, Linton was super helpful and agreed to cook a pure veg breakfast for us using our own pan.

Really nice apartment with a very friendly host! You have a nice view on the lions rock when you eat breakfast and the pool was also very nice. I would definitely recommend going here!

Der Host selber ist nicht im Hotel, hat aber bei Fragen schnell geantwortet. Der Rezeptionist war super freundlich und lustig, hat alle Fragen beantwortet, Tipps gegeben und für gute Unterhaltung gesorgt. Die Zimmer waren groß und sehr sauber. Die Anlage hat einen wunderschönen Garten. Sie ist in der Nähe der Hauptstraße, aber es ist nicht laut. Alle Läden, Restaurants und Sigirya Rock usw. sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt, ich komme sehr gerne wieder!
