We really loved to stay here! Very nice people and the host can arrange everything you need. Delicious food and if you want to go on excursion I recommend you book it via the hideout. The tuk tuk driver and the jeep Safari driver they arranged for us were very friendly, helpful and had good knowledge.

My husband, my two children and I slept in a tree house with no walls in the middle of the jungle. It was our first stay in Sri Lanka and an amazing, unforgettable experience. The staff was very friendly. We loved everything. Thank you for hosting us.

We were lucky enough to stay in the treehouse for three nights. Great host, great location and terrific accommodation. Was particularly wonderful to throw oneself in the pool after a hot sweaty excursion day. The food was fantastic. Wouldn't change a thing

Nous avons passé 5 nuits chez Maulie et avons tout adoré Notre logement était situé à l'étage d'un bungalow qui abrite une seconde chambre. Comme décrit dans l'annonce, la chambre est ouverte sur la nature ce qui permet d'etre bercé par les bruits de la jungle. Il y a donc évidement quelques insectes et grenouilles qui s'invitent notamment dans la salle de bain mais la colocation est tres simple. Le lit est confortable, tout est propre, la moustiquaire est très utile. Les petits déjeuners servis sont délicieux et généreux. Il est possible de dinner sur place, ce que nous avons fait chaque soir. Nous avions loué une voiture et la localisation de ce logement était parfaite et pratique selon nous car il y a énormément de lieux à visiter dans les alentours. Darshi, Maulie et le reste de l'équipe sont adorables. Nous avons bénéficié des bon conseils de Darshi pour affiner notre programme. Ce fut un réel plaisir et nous recommandons cette expérience

I couldn't stay due to a medical accident just a few days before coming to Maulie's place. I was in a bad status and in pain. I communicated to Maulie about the situation. I also understand I am not allowed to refund because it was one day before checking in. Maulie, on the other hand was focusing on how to help me, hospital or advice, and without me even asking, Maulie refunded me part of the fee too when she did not have to at all! I didn't buy travel insurance this time and I was really grateful for everything this lady has done for me. I couldn't tell about the place since I didn't get to stay there but I can say she is a wonderful person!

We loved staying here. It was really back of beyond. Surrounded by really beautiful countryside it was a really relaxing stay. The staff looked after us really well, and were so helpful, and the food was fantastic. Just the place to stay if you want to get away and escape to the countryside.

Il contatto con la natura è totale, e ogni momento trascorso qui è un’occasione per riconnettersi con l’ambiente. L’atmosfera è intima e rilassante, perfetta per chi cerca pace e serenità. Il personale è accogliente e attento, pronto a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Un’esperienza unica, consigliata a chi ama la natura e desidera viverla senza filtri. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci!

The location is beautiful, you fall asleep to the sounds of the forest. If you are looking for peace and relaxation this is the place to go. Very easy to explore Dambulla, Sigiriya and the national parks (elephants) from. The food is the best we have had in Sri Lanka. We wish we could have stayed longer it was that amazing! Maulie and Darshi are very knowledgeable about the forest and wildlife, so there is much to learn if you are open to it!

Beautiful place with a great story. You are about 40 min on tuktuk from Sigiria but don’t let that put you off. The place is quiet and peaceful and so unique. The food was really really good, probably the best we had in Sri Lanka. It’s very open so you’re in amongst nature. But the bedding has nets over it so it’s not an issue. Seeing all the geckos and monkeys and waking up with the sounds of nature was our favourite part. The place has two roads, one is quite off road the other is really easy - so make sure to tell your driver to come the way Maulie tells you!
