Apennine Mountains : locations de vacances dans des gîtes à la ferme

Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt bei Michele und seiner Familie, da wir gleich herzlich begrüßt wurden und mit dem hausgemachten Honig von Michele beschenkt wurden. Wir sind sehr gut durchgekommen und früher als geplant angekommen, aber auch das war kein Problem und wir konnten schon vor dem Check-In in das Haus rein. Egal bei welchem Anliegen ist Michele schnell mit einer Lösung parat. Die Unterkunft ist mitten in der Natur gelegen, sodass man einen schönen Ausblick, viel Ruhe und man tolle Wanderungen unternehmen kann. Für zwei Familien ist die Unterkunft perfekt, da sie über zwei getrennte Wohnungen verfügt und man auf der gemeinsamen Terasse gut zusammen essen und sitzen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder, nächstes mal im Sommer damit wir auch den großen Pool nutzen können.

We had a lovely time with Cristiana and Sergio. The apartment "La Margherita" was very clean and spacious. The children enjoyed the pool and there was plenty of room for everyone. We received helpful tips and Cristiana was always open to questions and responded very quickly. For chess lovers, there is a beautiful board in a great location. Highly recommended!

Abbiamo trascorso il Capodanno in questa struttura con un gruppo di amici, ed è stata un ottima esperienza! Giovanni, l’host, è stato estremamente disponibile in tutto, insieme a Michela, e ci hanno fatto sentire subito a casa. La struttura era impeccabile, con ordine e pulizia davvero ineccepibili. Un altro grande punto a favore è stata la comodità della stazione del treno a pochi passi: ci ha permesso di raggiungere Firenze facilmente, evitando il problema del parcheggio e sfruttando orari molto pratici. Ci ritorneremo molto volentieri, consigliato!!

We were a group of 10 people - two families with children and two grand Mums- spending 8 nights at the three villages of La Ghiga. Our experience overall was truly wonderful: -The place is a gem allowing you to reconnect with nature. -The villages are all well sized, equipped and modern with little decorative details giving them a cosy personality. -The pool and garden are maintained daily. -Olivia the host and her lovely family ensure being helpful with all your needs. -The opportunity of trying Olivia’s home cooking with (mostly) own produce is unique and truly recommended to try at least once. -Last but not least, Olivia gave us a tour to their farm which the children loved. The region offers various interesting places to visit e.g.: Civita di Bagnoregio, Orvieto, Lake Bracciano, Orsini-Odescalchi Castle, Villa Farnesse, Tuscania, Viterbo, Sacro Bosco di Bomarzzo. All these are between 25-80 min drive from La Ghiga. Otherwise there is a supermarket at 12min drive and the village of Nepi offers a variety of restaurants if you don’t want to be bothered cooking.

Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft! Das ganze Areal ist perfekt zum entspannen und entdecken! Man ist nicht weit weg von den bekannten Städten kann aber auch die Zeit super in der Natur verbringen. Auf dem Areal selber gibt es einige Wanderwege, bei denen man auch einige Tiere besuchen kann. Ansonsten war aber auch der Pool super zum entspannen. Es gibt ein super Buch mit allen Tipps für die Umgebung inklusive Restaurants und Ausflügen sowie die beste Bäckerei nicht weit weg von der Unterkunft! Auch bei Problemen wurde uns direkt geholfen und wir hatten ein ganzen Team zur Hilfe als unser Auto nicht angesprungen ist, danke nochmal dafür!

Le seul chose que je pourrais dire de négatif c’est le manque d’éclairage pour la cuisine et salle à manger . Pour le reste tout est parfait si on aime le décor de la campagne:-)

My family came from the UK, Germany, and the US to Liesbeth's place for a grand reunion. We had three young children and they absolutely loved the property, the pony, Polly, the swings, the pond, and the trampoline. Even though it was too cold to swim, we loved hanging around and wandering through the olive groves. I think if it was warmer, we would have had a tough decision whether to stay and enjoy all the outdoor cooking and swimming opportunities or venture out to Siene and other areas. The three apartments were great though it was tough to pick a central kitchen and living room to congregate. The beds were comfy and there were tons of bathrooms and showers. We explored Siene three times because it was only a 30 minute drive. The Etruscan necropoli close by was a cool hike as well as walking along the river near Colle D'Elsa. It was the perfect home base for all the area offers as well as a great spot to stay home and spend time together; a long stay is highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Calci. The accommodation was beautiful and the surrounding area was scenic. The host was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants.

The home and grounds were so beautiful and peaceful! The apartment was well equipped and felt like traditional Tuscany. Marian was very helpful and d the restaurant was wonderful too!

Stephen en Jennifer doen er alles aan om het hun gasten naar de zin te maken. We voelden ons er direct thuis. Ze zijn altijd bereikbaar voor vragen, tips etc. Aan alles is gedacht tot aan plastic wijnglazen voor bij het zwembad. Ook leuk dat er gasten van allerlei nationaliteiten komen. Kortom een klein paradijsje in Toscane! We zouden het iedereen die massatoerisme probeert te ontwijken aanbevelen! Dank voor het fijne verblijf!

We had an incredible experience as a family. The home was wonderful, everything was close by, and we got to experience Tuscany. The best part of all, which I highly recommend to everyone, was the cooking and dining experience with Viola and Raymondo. They were amazing hosts, and my kids loved it. It was the most fun experience we had as a family! Thanks so much for all Nada, Viola and Raymondo!! Will come back again for sure!!

Wow. My mom and I had the most amazing stay. Staying here was like a dream and Judyta went above and beyond to make us feel at home as well as cook dinner and breakfast for us and wine and oil tasting. The place is so beautiful and peaceful and it was the best vibes for an amazing price. Definitely recommend 10/10.

Siamo stati un fine settimana in pace! L’alloggio di Serena si trova in una zona tranquillissima, perfetto per passare dei giorni di tranquillità lontani dalla vita cittadina. Serena e suo marito gentilissimi e sempre disponibili per qualsiasi cosa. La casa è molto bella con mobili fatti da loro, molto comoda e molto pulita. Ha superato di certo le aspettative, 10 su 10!

We loved Elenas place. Lavender apartment was spacious and well equipped. Location on approach is a bit concerning but once with in the gates the accommodation and pool are beautiful. We recommend for a peaceful stay and ease of exploring Siena and Val d'Orcia. Thank you.

Highly recommend this place! It’s cozy, clean, comfortable, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The location is also very convenient for exploring other beautiful highlights of Tuscany. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the kids loved it as well. A special thanks to Francesca and Ivan for the thoughtful welcome message and the goodies—they made our experience even more memorable!!

Man benötigt vor Ort unbedingt ein Fahrzeug. Von dort aus ist man mit einem Auto in ca 20 Minuten am Strand. Es ist dort sehr ruhig und wunderschön. Der Hof ist riesig und man begegnet den auf dem Gelände frei umher laufenden Tieren gelegentlich. Die Wohnung ist toll und bietet alles für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt. Marie-Rose ist sehr zugewandt, spricht allerdings nur französisch. Mit nem Übersetzer war es aber kein Problem zu kommunizieren. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter.

Massimiliano e la moglie sono stati gentilissimi. Avevamo prenotato la casa per il finesettimana dell'8 dicembre da passare fuori, la casa ci ha fatto passare un bellissimo weekend

Séjour magique chez Paola. Difficile de décrire en quelques mots toute la gentillesse dont elle a fait preuve avec nous, on s'est tout de suite senti comme chez nous. Paola est venue nous chercher en voiture à la gare et nous a accueillis avec une bonne bouteille de vin et de la pizza - délicieuse -, difficile d'avoir une meilleure arrivée surtout après un long voyage. Elle a été très proactive tout au long de notre séjour et nous a même emmenés une demi-journée dans le Chianti pour que l'on puisse visiter un vignoble car nous n'avions pas de voiture - nous n'en revenons toujours pas de sa générosité ! Elle est aux petits soins avec tous ses invités et sa propriété est magnifique, nous avons bien profité de la piscine et l'appartement est merveilleusement bien décoré et équipé. Nous recommandons fortement de séjourner chez Paola, la meilleure hôte airbnb que nous ayons eue. Encore merci pour tout Paola, vous avez été merveilleuse, et nous rêvons déjà de revenir ! Arrivederci! :)

We LOVED outrstay here. First of all, Lorenzo was a fantastic host, communicative, available for every need, lovely to talk to. The property is incredible - a beautiful peaceful space to walk around, and some adorable cats to pet. Our favorite things about this space include: the gorgeous outdoor picnic setting for our meals, spotless kitchen with anything you need to cook, complete blackout and silence at night for a restful sleep and privacy. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore Tuscany, as this is a great place to stay and a reasonable drive from main Tuscan sites.

We loved our time at L’Assolata! It’s a beautiful spot, within close driving distance to many towns in Tuscany such as Pienza, Siena, Sarteano, and Montepulciano. It’s a bit farther away from Lucca, Volterra, and San Gimignano - so just plan for longer drives if your itinerary includes these places. It’s a serene place to both relax and explore. The views are INCREDIBLE! Even though the weather was cold and rainy a lot during our time there, we had a nice day sitting by the pool and it was the best! It’s just down the hill from the village of Radicofani. We loved walking around there and going to the bakeries and butcher shops. The cottage is clean, beautifully decorated, and just as described. Sara was very helpful! We had the best time and hope to return again someday!

We stayed here for two weeks. It was myself, my wife, a 5 year old and twin 3 month olds. The accommodation was more than comfortable for all of us. Monica was a perfect host before and during our stay. We were greeted by her upon arrival and provided with an extensive document outlining all of the house recommendations, property amenities and local activities such as hiking and other excursions. The property is a little slice of heaven and we spent most of our nice days with some hiking followed by relaxing and playing by the shared bbq area which in our opinion had the best view of the surrounding mountains and valley. Monica was very responsive to all of our questions and requests during our stay. The pool was closed but we used the hot tub twice, which was very relaxing. The local restaurant in Sillico is less than a 5 minute walk and has great rustic Tuscan food with local ingredients. Thanks for an excellent experience we endeavour to come back hopefully next time in the summer!
