We enjoyed our stay greatly. There was room for everyone to relax, cook, and sleep. The beds were very comfortable. Hot tub and jacuzzi tub were a big hit. Our favorite was the view of the water and birds! Communication was quick and easy. If we ever come back in the area, we will totally stay here again.

Darryl and Allyson’s Lakehouse was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, and we even got to enjoy a Lake Huron sunset from the upper deck. Darryl and Allyson are responsive and honest and generally great hosts. We’ll be back!

I had a wonderful stay! The place had that perfect rustic charm and was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It was the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The host was welcoming and very responsive, which made the experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful Spring Break stay at the cottage! Kelly's attention to detail and the cleanliness of the house made our stay very enjoyable. The house was very clean and I felt comfortable letting my 1 year old crawl around both indoors and out. The backyard is fenced in, which allowed our 4 kids under the age of 8 to safely play with several of the outdoor games that were provided. The house and amenities were efficiently laid out and tastefully decorated, without extra clutter to worry about the kids getting into. We enjoyed the sweet treats that Kelly kindly had waiting for us!

This home was nothing short of comfort, and privacy! Feels very secluded and all of the amenities were amazing, hot tub worked great and hosts were available if needing anything!

Angela was a very nice woman, she responded very quickly if i had any questions. The cottage was beautiful and very comfortable and cozy. Love her decor. Very highly recommended.

This cabin was perfect for our small family. The boys LOVED the hot tub and the creek. We found the sound of the creek so peaceful. We wish the fire ban wasn’t in place because we love a good fire at night, but we found plenty of other activities to do instead. We had a wonderful stay.

My wife and I stayed here the first two nights of our marriage and couldn’t have made a better choice. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was great. There was great hiking right out the front door. Bring snowshoes if you visit during winter and just head up the road past the reservoir. As other guests have said, there’s a very friendly red squirrel who will come eat peanuts (provided by the host) right out of your hand. The kitchen was generally very well supplied. Lots of pots and pans, usable knives, and almost any accessory one might need. There’s even a mortar and pestle.

We would definitely recommend Deb’s and Sharon’s cottage as a place to stay. The location is great, as it is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the water, but is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood so it still also offers plenty of privacy. They were wonderful and responsive hosts and checked on us throughout our stay, though we didn’t end up needing a thing. They were gracious enough to allow our dog Bella join for the weekend too, which we appreciated very much as she goes everywhere with us. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely look to book again if we make our way back to the beautiful island!

Cozy Cottage is a perfectly fitting description. We felt right at home, cozy living room furniture, comfortable beds, nice linens and a kitchen with everything needed for your home away from home stay. While we visited in March, I can imagine the deck in the warmer months is a lovely place to hang outside. Super convenient location to Traverse City or Suttons Bay with so much to see and explore. Thank you for hosting Robert and Judi you have a gem of a property! We'll be back to stay again.

Beautiful cottage, every detail was lovely and thoughtful. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy it this time, but can’t wait to return. Point Beach state forest is very close and one of the most beautiful spots in WI.

The kw house is one of a kind , relaxing on the patio looking down at the river ,well decorated inside and outside the cottage makes you feel right away on vacation , quiet and enjoyable Place,always having a perfect stay , will be back next year!

Julie’s place was exactly as described. It was perfect for what we needed. My husband and I stayed in Aiken for the weekend and were able to bring our dog and 2 cats with us and the ability to be able to do that was wonderful. We enjoyed the stay and being able to have our fur babies with us at the same time was awesome!

Ann’s place was a great place for my family to have a little R and R weekend getaway. The waves were relaxing to hear, the stars at night were extra bright, and the fire pit kept us warm. The cottage had everything we needed to cook and felt homey. Within walking distance was a nice grocery market and LCBO. And Ann was responsive and easy to communicate with.

Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

We were 8 guys (with possible of more) coming to see a sick friend who is unfortunately nearing the end of life. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. The weekend was quite cold but the place was welcoming enough that we mostly stayed inside and caught up with old friends. Thank you so much for accommodating our group, you have a very special home!

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !

Beautifully situated house, with a great and cozy interior. We enjoyed our stay so much and we cannot wait to be back again! The host Anna makes the communication seamless and very welcoming. Thank you Anna for accommodating us on such short notice.

We loved staying at Sandy Bottoms, the house is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped for a family. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the lake, rods and life jackets were provided (thanks!). The area is peaceful and beautiful and we enjoyed watching the squirrels and chipmunks! Cindy was very helpful. We recommend the disc golf at Tom Thomson park at South River! They have discs that you can borrow at the car park.

My friends and I stayed at Hong's place October 2024. We've stayed there before and had a great time, and this time was no different. Even before checking in Hong made sure all questions were answered and gave us a guide to the place and the area. The check in experience was seamless and accommodating, and the cottage was cleaned very well. The cottage itself is so warm and cozy, and the surrounding area is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here while working in the area. Quaint little cottage. The hosts were attentive and helpful as well as being responsive to any questions or issues. The grounds are well cared for and beautiful. The cottage had everything I needed to make it an enjoyable stay. The fridge is small so if there is a family you may need to minimize the amount of food that needs refrigeration or simply go to the supermarket more often which is very close by.
