A beautiful apartment . Absolutely spotless and beautiful views over the bay. It is worth being aware of the two flights of steps going up to the flat. One set of external stone steps, then one set inside the front door. Once you are in , it is all on one level. I mention this as I have bad knees but just had to take my time and use the bannisters. We didn't cook although the kitchen was well equipped. We stayed in late March , so just before all places were open but a bit of research showed there were always options. We had a lovely meal in Cafe Fish and one excellent fish & Chips in the MishDish (part of the Mishnish Hotel). The Co-op supermarket nearby is very well stocked. We also managed a lovely 1 hour trip around the bay on the 'wee yellow boat' run by Tobermory Bay tours. Very informative and good fun. I'd highly recommend a stay at Jan's place.

Our family had a great holiday in Fort William. The apartment was superb, just as in the pictures and description, and the location was perfect for us - right on the high street and walkable to and from the station and bus stops. This was really useful to us as we'd got the Caledonian Sleeper direct to Fort William from London. Would definitely recommend this place and will probably return ourselves too at some point.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft rundum wohlgefühlt – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt! Die Wohnung versprüht einen charmanten, gemütlichen Charakter. Besonders das Wohnzimmer lädt zum Entspannen ein – perfekt, um nach einem langen Tag zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Umgebung war schön ruhig. Die Innenstadt ist bequem zu Fuß in etwa 20 bis 30 Minuten erreichbar, was für uns ideal war. So konnten wir die Stadt in Ruhe erkunden, ohne auf öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angewiesen zu sein. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Stefan war absolut unkompliziert – wir haben uns jederzeit gut betreut gefühlt. Alles in allem ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt, den wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen würden!

Graham was an excellent host to the point where he left food items he thought would be useful (thank you!) The flat was very comfortable and has everything needed for a stay. The location of the flat is just outside the main town centre but is easy to get to. It's also excellent for arrival by ferry or plane.

This place was a wonderful Airbnb, with views of Ben Nevis. Myself and my boyfriend felt right at home, and couldn’t have asked for more. The Airbnb is close to lots of places, such as Glenfinnan (and the famous Harry Potter Viaduct). We found lots to do. Would absolutely recommend.

I was so grateful that Filipe was able to host us last minute. The apartment was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay.

As a hugely experienced (50 +) user of Airbnb all over the UK, this is one of the best, and certainly the best I have stayed in on the Island. Top drawer, high quality accommodation in super central location.

This was our first visit to Skye and the cottage was the perfect place to stay. It is attached to the owner’s home but otherwise in a fairly remote location. The owners are really friendly and helpful and the location is unbelievably beautiful! The cottage was very welcoming with colourful decor, cosy and had everything that we needed. Easy parking for the car outside the door. We stayed with our dog and were all very comfortable during the stay and sad to leave when it was over.

Kasia's flat was amazing! Exactly as per the listing's photos and description. Well-presented with modern decor. Good-sized rooms. All possible features, fittings and consumables are there. Ample free parking a few steps from the entrance. Beautiful setting, and with plenty of walkable shops, eateries, etc. All communications were friendly and responses were swift. Will definitely return if/when back in the area.

great place to stop over or as a base. jacuzzi was well worth the price and flat is very cozy.

Took a 3 day trip to Scotland. Helens place is ideal in location, well looked after and a lot bigger than looks in the photos. Helen was very helpful and went out of her way to make our stay super great. 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

first time been to this area, the view was stunning, hot tub clean and hot, lodge was cosy and the adjoining hotel was the icing on the cake with excellent staff and service - where we had a great evening meal and a few pints overlooking the loch.

Had a great stay here for two nights. Amenities were great and we especially loved the kitchenette and hot tub. Bed was comfortable. Very easy to get to the ferry to Skye which is what brought us to the area.

We had a lovely couple of days break at Ian’s. He greeted us and gave us all the information we would need for a quick check in. If you enjoy quirky, scenic, historic, picturesque accommodation and timeless scenery, this is the place for you. We have two dogs and they absolutely loved it! Great skies at night and the hot tub wasn’t too shabby either. The best quirk is the floating bridge which in certain weather conditions can be fun. It offers a unique and playful side to this wonderful look back to a time when things were “simpler”.

Loved our time here. Exactly as described. Beautiful accommodation with a lovely view. Hot-tub was a nice touch at the end of a day exploring the local area. We had dinner in the restaurant in the attached hotel. Food was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting. We would stay here again. 🌸
