Felt right at home. Tamer is a great host. He becomes your friend right from the very first minute. Always way ahead communications and very thoughtful. Goes beyond to help as needed. Even helped me get a multi plug as I had forgotten to bring mine and didn’t know where to get from 😀. The place itself matches the description and is clean. Walkable to the nearby restaurants. 5 mins walk to many. Loved the place. I’d recommend 👍🏼

Ghassab and his wife are excellent hosts! We traveled with our two little children and felt very comfortable in the shared apartment. Ghassab prepared the best local food we had on our trip through Jordan. We would always go back.

The host was very accommodating and personally picked us up and explained the way to the accommodation. As another option, we were offered that the family will prepare dinner for us. We were very happy to accept this offer. The food was super tasty, rich and traditional Jordanian cuisine. His wife's pickled olives were fantastic. The accommodation was very clean, in great condition and the sleep was very restful. All our needs were taken care of immediately. Recommended as accommodation in Petra for those who want to immerse themselves in local life and meet the people who actually live in the Petra area. Since our host himself works in Petra, he could also give us many tips. One should have a rental car to be mobile at the accommodation. We can recommend the stay here for a good night's sleep.

Nice place and nice hosts who really make you feel at home. Go for the chess challenge. They took us out for dinner and showed us around. The ad shows several rooms but they asked us before which one we prefer. Overall a good experience.

Meda était au États Unis mais j’ai été chaleureusement accueillie par toute sa famille! La chambre était propre, la salle de bain séparée juste à côté également très propre. J’ai dîné avec toute la famille, bédouins de Petra depuis plusieurs générations. Ils ont été particulièrement accueillants et avaient une réelle volonté de me faire découvrir Petra et la culture bédouine. Je recommande chaudement cette expérience pour ceux qui cherchent une vraie expérience avec les locaux, un peu hors des sentiers battus. Merci encore pour cet accueil !

The host was nice and friendly, the great location….very near from centre. Probably you will share a room with somebody else. I have got small problem just with cats everywhere, but it is just my personal matter. Thanks for your accomodation.

Très très bel appartement. Sara est une hôte très réactive, nous avons vu son frère Jehad qui nous a fait découvrir la ville et nous a donné de très très bons conseils. L'appartement est impeccable, spacieux, avec balcon, et tout le nécessaire possible. Sara ne veut que notre bien-être et que l'on passe de super vacances. Je reviendrai avec un immense plaisir. Firstly, I would start with gratitude. Hamzah, you became our friend very quickly. Thank you from all of us for your hospitality, your kindness and the amazing organization! Everyone who is considering should book this property! I could honestly say that this apartment is perfect, especially for its price but the thing which is the very best of the best is Hamzah himself. Before booking the property, I wrote him a short letter and within 2-3 minutes I have already got the confirmation to book the home. After we book it (like seconds after) Hamzah wrote me to ask if we need anything else and he offered us to help us with other arrangements for our trip. He helped us to book bedouin camp as well in Wadi Rum for amazing prices (even local people were impressed) and also he helped us with organizing our transport which was a bit complicated and again on amazing fares. (from Aqaba to Wadi Musa in the evening, then from Wadi Musa to Wadi Rum and then from Wadi Rum again to Aqaba again in the evening) We spent in Hamzah’s apartment 1 night. Everything was clean and welcoming. Even though we came almost at midnight, we were welcomed so warmly we felt like home. In the appartment there is everything you may need during your stay, including some tourist broshures etc. The home is very near to the Petra’s entrance (like 10-15 mina depending on which way you take) and actually it is in the city center- there are many shops and food spots. We bought super delicious fresh fruits, some stuff from the supermarkets and etc. The location is amazing not only because its close to everything but because it provides you with peace so you can rest after a busy trip. Hamzah was even checking up on us during our trip if we are okay or we nees anything. What could we say more- Hamzah is a host that everyone would dream of! Thank you my friend once again! Layla was an amazing host. We stayed at her house during winter time so we were the only guests. The house is big, and very clean, tou can seat outside if the weather is nice and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. The house is located in a little village about 10 minutes from Petra. The people there are nice and very welcoming. We had the chance to eat in many places while we were in Jordan but Layla’s cooking was by far the best. She woke up early do make us delicious breakfast and we appreciate it very much. We also learned a lot about the culture in Jordan and about Layla’s experiences. Overall Layla was the best host we have ever had, and we have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world. We definitely recommend her place.

Very nice person, so positive and propositive. With Ammar we have also visitid Araba Desert. We would like to came back with friends and family again. Petra is magic, unbeliavable

The room was amazing, very warm and cozy. The included breakfast and paid dinner was extremely good as well. Ali and his staff are extremely helpful and nice, with very good English. Wish we stayed longer!

The welcome is warm from the whole family. the place fits the photos and Ibrahim is a very caring person. I recommend without hesitation.

If you are looking for a genuine experience and to regain faith in humanity we highly recommend to stay at Abid & Manal place. We had the chance to meet Joel & Randy during our stay which was the cherry on the cake. Finally, we were given very useful advises and felt like family. Diese Unterkunft kann man wirklich nur empfehlen ! Hier stimmt alles von A bis Z ! Superfreundliche Gastgeber, die einem mit Ratschlägen immer helfen konnten. Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Zentrum, aber für Leute, die den Innenstadttrubel meiden möchten, ideal. Trotzdem sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geschäfte mit dem Auto bequem zu erreichen. Für mich eine 10 von 10 !!!

Wonderful stay at Valeria’s! They were welcoming and we felt like home. Unfortunately we missed Valeria’s dinner, which looked very good, so remember to order this in advance. We liked that it was some distance from Wadi Musa and enjoyed the tranquility in the more deserted area, where the B&B is located (we came by car and had the flexibility to move around)
