My main search was for a pet friendly rental so I could invite friends with a senior golden retriever. And secondly I wanted to be near the ocean. Having lived on Cape Cod for 25 years, I moved back to Connecticut a year ago after the passing of my wife. But the call of the ocean never fades and this rental was steps from East Beach. My stay was in February and the weather wasn't the best, but beach walks are always best when the only footsteps in the sand are your own. The rental was very accommodating with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living area and large, fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating is also included. Melissa was very attentive and always responded quickly when needed. I definitely recommend this rental for a peaceful adult retreat or for a full family vacation. Kids will love it with the big yard and kayaks available. Enjoy, John

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

The house is so charming and peaceful. It was just what I was looking for to be close to family and get away from my own home where I also work. Lots of light, well decorated with a lovely view. Lauren was super responsive and very friendly.

Sarah's place is absolutely amazing—a peaceful retreat with every amenity you could ask for plus some you didn't think of. Sarah is a responsive and caring host, always quick to reply. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, overlooking the lake and listening to the crickets. Even though the lake is drained, there was still enough water for ducks to play, which was a joy to watch. The indoor fire made for cozy nights on the couch, gazing at the moon through the large windows. The beds were super comfy, and the fans in each room were an added touch since we like white noise. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table and gym, and the fast internet kept them entertained with games. The kitchen was fully stocked, making meal prep easy. We also appreciated the easy 1 hour 15 minute drive into Boston and the small town for basic needs that is maybe 5 minutes away. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing and memorable getaway! We felt right at home.

Bria’s home was outstanding in just about every way. It was absolutely adorable, clean to the point that everything looked brand new, appointed with nearly everything we could need, and super close to Narragansett Beach and shops. When we arrived, we were impressed to see a bowl of water set up for our dogs and a bag of treats for them on the counter (along with an assortment of goodies for the kids, aged 6 and 9, and adults as well). Very thoughtful! We found the yard to be an amazing asset for our dogs, who normally need time to adjust to new surroundings on vacation. They felt right at home! The neighborhood was peaceful. The only neighbor we saw smiled and waved as he drove by. As small as it is on paper, the home did not feel small to our family of 4. It was just right for a week’s vacation. Bria was a responsive host, helping us find everything we needed in the area. All in all, I would highly recommend Bria’s place!

Perfect stay! The location was private, beautiful and safe and also close by to Oceanside restaurants. The house was perfect for my husband, toddler and infant with lots of room to run around outside. Waking up every morning to coffee with a sunrise over the pond and the fireplace on was heaven. Thank you for the magic memories!

Perfect fit for our plans! It is centrally located with a nice area for morning /evening walks. Lovely setting.

It was a very wonderful place to stay; a very nice cozy place for a few people to enjoy. Kayaking out back was great for anyone who wanted a nice chill day.

We LOVED our stay! Sloane’s home was a perfect place for our sister getaway! The cottage was adorable and cozy! We enjoyed having coffee in the front room, relaxing on the back deck and slept great in the beds! The neighborhood was so quiet! Just a few folks walking their dogs! 🥰 We enjoyed walking on the beach, taking the ferry for a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard, eating supper & ice cream in New Bedford and did a quick day trip to Hyannis Port! This definitely checked off our ‘Cape Cod’ bucket list! Sloane was a great host with good recommendations and quick and friendly responses! Would definitely recommend her place for a quaint getaway!

the home is a beautiful cottage with lots of updates. amazing view of the water, easy access from the house and use of a variety of surfboards, paddle boat.

My daughter and I stayed at John’s place for a week and it was wonderful. The space was clean and perfectly appointed. The proximity to the beach was great, too. John was an extremely responsive host. I would absolutely stay here again. Barrington is a great town. If you’re a coffee drinker you have to try Borealis in Riverside. The Blue Kangaroo and The Black Pear are great breakfast/lunch spots as well. We loved Barrington Books - great spot for great gifts.

The Sea Glass Cottage was clean, had amazing views, organized, had everything we needed, and was located on what appeared to be the best part of the island. It was one of the few places where the home patio facing the water without a street obstruction. The decoration and amenities were in perfect condition, and decor was so cute and cozy. It was clearly thought through by a home decor professional. Great place for a couples getaway...coffee on the patio at sunrise, walks around historic farms and nature reserves, crabbing at the dedicated beach to the home and sunset walks on the sandy beach just a short drive away. Emily was so responsive to our questions especially since this was our first time to Air B&B...may have been too numerous. She was a delightful host.

This place exceeded our expectations & needs! The host was kind enough to let us check in earlier at a cost & we’re so glad we did. It was a beautiful location & set up. We enjoyed the special touches to make it feel welcoming. Thanks for the “extras” you offered incase we forgot to bring anything. Everything was great. Would most definitely stay here again!

Place was great! Weather did not cooperate for us unfortunately but it was such a cool little spot right on the water. Some great options for food and drink within walking distance too!

The hospitality provided was unmatched. The home was warm and cozy upon arrival and the perfect place to kick back and relax. The little morning treat upon checkout was a wonderful touch and a great way to end the trip and send us straight off to another one. Great find! Hidden cottage away from the road, with lots of space to sit indoors and outdoors. Master bedroom spacious but missing blinds, make sure to bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in! Enjoyed our stay!

I really liked all the outdoor activities my daughter and I did! Karen let us borrow the games inside the cabinet and they were pretty interesting. There's a lot of beds, and they are all comfortable. I really like the view when we were sleeping on one of the bed because you can see the lake when the sun sets or rises. It's really beautiful and I really liked spending time on the canoe and having this vacation! My family and I loved coming here and hope that we can come again. We were looking for a quiet, cozy, and private weekend with the exception of a concert at Foxwoods (about 10 miles away). Tim's cabin was the perfect fit for us. The cabin was as described. Tim was very accommodating. The setting is beautiful. A great getaway location close enough to either of the casinos if that's your interest. Looking forward to going back in the future.

The cabin was wonderful! Clean bathroom, kitchen and bedding! The heat worked great, nice and toasty. We slept very comfortably and sound. We felt safe a secure in the cabin and surrounding areas. The view of the lake in the morning was beautiful. We did not get a chance to walk around but we are hoping to return in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoors.
