Aranayake : locations de vacances

It’s location was strategic for our requirements. Beautiful house with a huge compound with lots of nature surrounded. Good view for both sunsets and sunrise, loved his place very much. Hence, there an outdoor kitchen as well. And not forgetting the wonderful five friendly companions. Beautiful flowers and nature surrounding with paddy fields and a fish pond. A tranquil place to chill and heal, the internet is also reliable. The caretaker; Mr Amit and family as also very helpful. Offered us all the support and assistance during our stay. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in this part of the world.

Le séjour c'est très bien passé. Lui et son épouse on était très acceuillant et chaleureux. Ils se sont occupé du taxi direct de l'aéroport au logement. À notre arrivé, le dîner était près, cuisiné avec soin par son épouse et il était très bon, nous avons donc rénouvellé l'expérience pour le dîner du lendemain. Un petit déjeuner à 5$ nous a été proposé et celui-ci fut copieux et varié (saucisse, oeuf, fruit, pancake, café ou thé). Concernant la chambre, elle était fidèle à la description un très grand lit, une salle de bain propre, juste quelque fourmi attention à bien fermer ses flacons, et surtout elle était climatisé, indispensable ! Le logement est très bien situé, à 15min du centre ville, isolé du bruit ambiant de la ville. Autre point positif, Anjana c'est proposé de nous conduire à notre prochain point de chute, et nous avons donc eu droit à ses conseils sur les endroits à visiter en cours de route. Bref excellent logement à Kandy, nous le recommandant vivement !

We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

We had a wonderful stay at Pubudu 's place . Our caretaker - Bala made every effort to provide us a comfortable and relaxing stay. He is well aware about his boundaries and knows when we need our privacy and his assistance. The accommodation is located in a hilltop with a great view . If you wish to stay there, take everything with you since the nearest township is located at the downhills.

The host is a friendly and communicative person. He can even arrange for someone else to take care of your needs even he lives in a different country (with a completely different time zone). However, be cautious if you have a long vehicle. The car parking is quite tight and challenging to enter and exit. (Fortunately, the host is willing to provide you with street parking or his friend’s driveway.) We had an unfortunate incident where we had to cancel our booking at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. The host was incredibly helpful and fully cooperated with us.

This property is a beautiful home with four large bedrooms and bathrooms and very comfortable common areas. The property manager is incredibly helpful, friendly, generous, and accommodating and he is a wonderful chef. He made us a delicious platter of grilled vegetables and roti in response to our request for a light dinner. For breakfast he made more roti, crepes, toast, omelette, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. All of it was amazing. The house is up a steep hill, but well worth the climb!

Monti en zijn ouders zijn zeer gastvrije mensen! Mijn vriend en ik hadden problemen met onze volgende accommodatie en ze boden ons aan om nog een nacht te blijven! Wij aten een avondmaal en een ontbijt hier, deze werd klaargemaakt door de ouders. Dit was echt een super lekker!!! Je kreeg ook wanneer je wou thee of koffie (gratis). De plek zelf is een verborgen parel, Monti gaf ons enkele tips over wat we konden bezoeken in de omgeving. Wij bezochten dan ook op aanraden van Monti een super mooie waterval! Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en zouden zeker nog eens teruggaan naar hier!!!

Very nice modern apartment in a nice complex with underground parking. Few minutes by walk to nice restaurant, good cafe just next door.
