Had an amazing weekend away. The cabin was lovely and in such a nice location. Hot tub was great!! Leigh was a great host always on the other end of the phone answering our questions. We will definitely be back! would highly recommend

We loved every minute of our stay here. The cabins were superb. Very clean and well maintained. They were even bigger than expected. The grounds were also very well maintained and kept. It was a lovey quiet place, and felt so homely. There was a ‘visitor/guest’ book left and it was so helpful with local directions etc. We have already started looking at dates I we can book to stay again. 5 star rating from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Alice's place was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and left a note in the guest book saying as such. I took my girlfriend away to propose (she said yes). The space was stunning, absolutely beautiful and will hold a very special place in my memory. We really wanted to use the outside bath but didn't have the chance to, so we'll be coming back for a wash at some point.

Lovely stay, the cabin has everything you need and is very quiet and peaceful. Lots of things round about and plenty of amazing dog walks to go on, even better that you can come back and relax in the hot tub after. Really enjoyed my trip, thank you

Perfect location for a weekend getaway! Hot tub, smart TV, lovely babbling stream that runs in front of the cabin. Everything was clean and it had a cosy vibe with everything we needed. The kitchen had the basics there. Though I will say be careful of the tap, as it’s very hot but there’s a sticker saying that. The town was also lovely to walk through. Everyone was very friendly. I can recommend the art shop and the kaoglen bar/restaurant at the top of the hill for some great views. We also took a quick morning dip in the nearby loch, which the cabins have access to.

Fantastic location! Felt like home away from home. Samantha was extremely helpful with the amount of information she provided when we first booked. Would definitely recommend this anyone looking for a quiet cosy weekend away!

Lovely very well equipped chalet which was immaculate. Great info prior to arriving regarding directions and how to check in etc. On arrival everything was perfect, including the heating being switched on for us. We had our pet Dalmatian with us and it was very spacious allowing him plenty of freedom. The town of Banchory was only 10 minutes away with shops and take aways. Phone signal was non existent at the chalet but the Wi-Fi worked well. I used Apple Maps for directions and it took us straight to the door, the cars sat nav wasn’t even close. I would certainly return here again. Great base for exploring.

Amazing little cabin in the peace and quiet of the countryside, yet only 15 minutes by car to large towns with restaurants, shops and beaches. The bedding was extremely comfortable, the little kitchen had everything to make up an easy breakfast which you could enjoy out on the decking soaking up the serenity! Amy and her family are great hosts.

Stephen’s place was a perfect home base for our golf trip. The view is amazing and the cottage was very clean and well furnished.

It’s a lovely cabin to spend time with your family, Morag was very accommodating with our baby. The place was spotless, easy to find with lovely walks nearby and a lovely river just next to the cabin. The cabin has pretty much everything you need for cooking and the beds and all the bedding was very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We have stayed in a lot of very special places all over the world and the Queens hut is definitely up there with the best of them. There aren't many places that are set in such a beautiful location on essentially a private loch, it is like a film set. The photos don't do it justice. The interior has been well designed, in keeping with the age and style of the hut with everything you could possibly need and of excellent quality. The weather wasn't great during our stay with alot of wind and rain but we couldn't have picked a cosier place to be. it was the perfect place for our engagement and we will be back again without a doubt. We also thought the price was very fair for what the property offered, highly recommend! 10/10

Amazing location, such a beautiful setup, open but fenced garden, every detail has been thought through. Extremely grateful they let us bring our dogs, they absolutely loved the outdoor space and walking routes so local. My family had a lovely stay and will remember Hatton Lodge for a long time! Thank you so much for an awesome stay.

Beautifully situated wood cabin in gorgeous woods. Great for local walking and trips further afield. Lovely large and well equipped kitchen. Felt cosy with the log fire. We enjoyed our stay. Richard was a helpful and welcoming host. Would like to return in summer to try out the swim spots in the local river

My wife and i had a a fabulous stay in the Lobster Pod. Set in beautiful surroundings, overlooking the fields and hills in Angus it was peaceful and tranquail. Easy to follow directions to get to the location the pod was cozy and inviting. With all the facilities we wanted the highlight was sitting in the hot tube looking up at a near full moon and the teinkling stars. I would recommend any couple wanting a couple of peaceful relaxing nights away from the hustel and bustle of everyday life to take a break with Will and Linda at the Lobster Pod.

My stay at the Love shack as a solo traveller over Christmas was perfect. The cabin was really lovely inside. It's quite a small living area but the bedroom was very spacious. Small cooking area with microwave, electric oven and 2 hobs so everything anyone could need. Bathroom and shower were spotless. There a large outside space with fireplace and chimney and plenty of wood supplied (also coal for the fire inside was supplied for my stay. Top up coal is provided for £5 a scuttle which is vety reasonable!!) Monty was very helpful the few times I messaged him and all in all, I had a wonderful time there!!!!

We had the most amazing time at the cabin. The views were unbelievably beautiful. The cabin is a stone throw away from the waters edge. It was lovely to sit on the deck and look out at the sea and even more special that there was a hot tub to use which was clean and easy to use. Inside was beautifully decorated, modern and clean. The cabin is situated in a very quiet area. We drove to many different places along the coast all within about 20 minutes and drove into St Andrews a couple of times. We would definetely recommend!

Toplocatie! Heerlijk uitzicht, ontbijten bij zonsopgang. Mooi zicht op de kust en groene heuvels. Pure rust! Prachtig. uberpraktische pod. ietwat krap voor 4 maar dankzij het mooie weer was de grote buitenruimte fantastisch meegenomen. Aanrader!

Just home from a family weekend away. The lodge was beautiful and spacious with spectacular views of the river. Lovely restaurants a short drive away. Only minor downside is that the front of the lodge faces onto quite a busy road.

Beautiful place and surroundings. We travelled with two families including young kids, who loved the bunk beds, the games room, exploring the forest and watching the wild deer eating their breakfast. Tara made the whole thing easy too :)

Me and my partner loved staying in the lodge. Was cozy, comfortable, peaceful had everything we needed. Beautiful views from the front deck. Will be happy to book here again if we are back in the area.

Really nice and we had a brand new log cabin, all smart and clean. Quiet and peaceful and the host was very friendly and helpful. My first time booking Airbnb myself and it all worked as I had hoped. We were visiting St Andrews (about 20 mins drive away) and this suited our needs perfectly, without breaking the bank. Watch out for red squirrels, the horses and very friendly cats!
