Thoroughly enjoyed my second stay with Kim in a matter of 8 weeks. Highly recommend!

The place was perfect for us. Such a quiet and peaceful. Very clean and our dogs were thrilled to have a huge backyard. I definitely would travel to Joplin just to stay in Gary and Jeans Black Dogs House.

This place is off the chain… wildlife galore, off the beating path… great place to disconnect and get some R&R!!!! The cabin is custom built from trees on the property…. It snowed while we were there… so that added to the experience… Nathan is a jam up hostel!!! First class… Strongly suggest this cabin if you are headed his way!!! 🤙🏻✌️👍

Our stay was exceptional. The property was beautifully decorated, well-appointed with amenities, and the location was ideal for our stay. Stacey was a superb host, highly responsive to messages. This home is exactly as depicted, stylish and clean. We would definitely stay again. The surrounding natural surroundings are serene, perfect for a relaxing getaway!

Enjoyed a family weekend at Black Diamond Lodge. My kids were excited to fish, make s’mores, play yard games and explore outdoors. Kitchen was well stocked with a variety of cookware. We brought the majority of our groceries with us. But the Wal-Mart in Lamar was a short drive for anything forgotten. Because we have family that live in this area we definitely plan to come back and stay again.

We came for a family reunion and Julie's location was perfect for what we needed. The house is not in town like we thought, but was very peaceful and quite. We also didn't realize this was her primary residence , so it was a little different from what we are used to. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, which looked very clean and welcoming. We definitely had room to spread out, large outside area with tables, chairs, fire pit area and a walking trail out back. This large home would be fantastic for a family or friends traveling together. The best amenities for us were that it was pet friendly and very private. This was my first trip to Missouri and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay here. It was such a peaceful environment and the house felt so warm and cozy. The house was very clean and I loved how it was decorated. They were great hosts.
