Quiet stay in the middle of Toscana. Perfect for staging point to visit other towns and have a restful night and breakfast in the morning. The family was very accommodating for a late checkout. Beds were a bit firm, but I slept like a baby with windows open in mid October.

Villa poggetto was a beautiful and quiet retreat. Our family used it as a base for seeing other parts of Tuscany and hired a car so it was perfect. It has basic amenities and the pool is in great condition. Only critique is the doors don’t lock well (not really a concern as the area is quiet) and as it is rural there are animals around such as mice and cute local cats. Gastone was a great host who allowed us to check in at 11pm when we were running late. He is very responsive and kind.

Ginevra was very friendly and forthcoming. Communication was smooth and prompt. Nice place, surely recommended!

We are an American and Italian family traveling through Italy and we highy recommend this special spot in the mountains. The landscape was beautiful and the breakfast was wonderful. We ended up arriving very late in the evening as their was a crash on the autostrada and Luca was very accommodating and communicative. We would stay here again.

We loved staying at Guido’s home! He was so welcoming from the time we booked our reservation and throughout our stay! He provided so many recommendations on places to see and things to do, I wish we had more time to do it all! After meeting Guido and Ingrid in person, I feel like we have made some new friends and hope we get the chance to see them again in the future!

Amazing stay in the Tuscany region!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Lucas Ferienhaus. Zwei Wochen in der typisch toskanischen Idylle mit mehr oder weniger privatem Pool halfen uns die Batterien wieder aufzuladen. Neben den ausgedehnten Pooltagen durfte auch das sightseeing nicht zu kurz kommen. Es gibt viele einzigartige Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Allerdings ist ein Auto unabdingbar. Zu den meisten Locations braucht man ca. 1h. Luca war ein toller Gastgeber und dazu ein wirklich angenehmer Typ, der alles dafür tat, dass wir in unserem Urlaub eine gute Zeit hatten. Er kennt sich bestens in der Gegend aus und konnte uns eine Vielzahl Empfehlungen für fantastische Tagesausflüge geben. Was wir noch erwähnen möchten ist die Sauberkeit. Das Haus war wirklich top gepflegt. Selbst die Messer waren einigermaßen scharf 🙌 😅 Wir haben uns bei Luca sehr wohl gefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt bei ihm nur wärmstens empfehlen. Virkelig smukt sted og smukke omgivelser. Al kommunikation gik nemt og godt. Meget klare instruktioner og beskrivelser sf faciliteter. Værten kontakter dig et par dsge før ankomst, og indtjekning gik super nemt.

我要如何赞美Maria Chiara的民宿呢~这是我此次旅行中最爱的一个住宿地点，美好得有一点梦幻和不真实。房子的具体位置我描述不清，离皮恩扎不远，我们开了一路的山路，很好找。漂亮的精心打理的院子是我的第一印象，一只可爱的小猫在院子里和我们慵懒地打招呼。Maria带我们去了所有的房间，一共三间超级舒适的卧室，两个配备齐全的厕所，还有大小两间起居室以及温馨的厨房。因为到达的时候已经很晚了，我们没有来得及在路上吃饭，打开谷歌地图，附近的餐厅都显示打烊了。我们只好非常不好意思地寻求Maria的帮助。Maria和他的家人给了我们很大的帮助，他帮我们打了一堆电话，前面好几个都说今天满座了或者是我们要打烊了，但是他们丝毫没有停下来的意愿，直到找到一家开门的披萨店。我们很顺利地找到了那家当地的餐厅，简直是我吃过最好吃的意面和披萨，而且价格非常公道。夜晚，我们在院子里品尝白天从酒庄带回来的美酒，漂亮的院子和星空，气氛太好了。第二天，我们得以认真打量这漂亮的房子，它已经有104岁了，但是房屋的状态特别好，是女主人辛苦在打理。房间的家具和陈列特别有地域的特色，也有复古的年代感，配色迷人得令人挪不开眼睛。我和朋友说，感觉就是住进了一家博物馆。Maria的厨房也有很意思，大概有大大小小5只咖啡壶，非常有生活的气息。我们要离开的时候，Maria已经在打扫院子了，我们用谷歌翻译聊了一会儿，再次感谢她热情的招待。这漂亮的房子承载了我对托斯卡纳最好的回忆，和我亲爱的家人还有可爱的朋友。

Lovely clean and comfortable little house on 3 floors, we liked it so much we extended our stay! Without a car it's quite a walk up the hill from the station. We enjoy walking so it wasn't a problem for us. We loved the weekly market every Tuesday morning for fresh fruit, vegetables cheese and meat, as well as organic honey. There's also an excellent bakery in the square, a pharmacy, bar/gelateria, enoteca and restaurants nearby. Franca was a great host, responsive and flexible with the check-out time. Thoroughly recommended!

The property was even more beautiful than the photos could have described. The home is very comfortable, with all the needed amenities. Rita was a gracious host and welcomed us when we arrived, but still gave us plenty of space. She also has an amazing store with award winning olive oil she produces, as well as jams and jellies from the orchards of her farm. She very graciously gave us a tour and allowed us to meet her animals, who are all well behaved and charming. This was the most beautiful location I have seen in Tuscany. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for a place to get away.

Definitely a wonderful place to relax. The sunset in the evening is mind-blowing and Letizia is a very welcoming host. The apartment has everything you need but be aware that it can be pretty, pretty cold at night (we were there in May) and if you want to heat the place you’ll need to remember that gas is extra. Other than that it’s a place to fall in love with and also great if you bring your dog. We were sorry to leave and can absolutely imagine to be back to explore more of the Valley D’Orcia or simply to relax and enjoy the sun and nature.

The tiny ancient town of Seggiano has little to no tourists, it's well positioned in the Tuscany region for incredible back road touring of the great historic towns and breathtaking scenery in the region. The bnb is at a dead end, no traffic, a small restaurant with a few tables and is right outside your door. Machella, his wife and two young boys were very helpful and friendly with tips. We were touring late March/early April. Little to no traffic on the back country roads between towns so you could enjoy the scenery. I hear it is busier later in April and onward. The indoor hot tub in the stone cellar off the deck was amazing after a full day of walking and touring. Very private location, great view from the unit and the town is very safe and quiet. There is also a pizzeria with amazing classic Italian pizza and other homemade dishes. If you have a car and plan on touring the Tuscany region for day trips, and want Privacy, this is it!

NIcolo a été un hôte très gentil et très accueillant, le logement était propre, et hyper fonctionnel ! C’était un plaisir de passer une nuit dans ce logement ;)

Ottimo location, su una bella collina che garantisce una visuale a 360 gradi, la casa comoda e spaziosa con una bellissima zona esterna per mangiare ed un altrettanto bella piscina. Noi eravamo in 17 ed abbiamo trovato un ottima sistemazione. Molto caratteristici i paesi vicini ed anche ben serviti di negozi. Zona ideale per che vuole praticare escursioni a piedi ed in bici o per chi cerca tranquillità e relax, unico neo la distanza dal mare, almeno 25 min per arrivare alla spiaggia più vicina.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Check-in und Check-out funktionierten reibungslos. Das Anwesen ist traumhaft und definitiv einen Aufenthalt wert!

Il casale di Debora è bellissimo, ha una vista splendida, nei giorni più limpidi si possono vedere dai Monti Sibillini al Gran Sasso e tutta la Val d' Orcia. L' interno è molto accogliente e Debora da attenta ospite lo ha dotato di tutto ciò che può servire alle persone che accoglie, ci si sente veramente accolti e coccolati. È stata gentilissima e molto disponibile. Noi eravamo in compagnia di amici e dei nostri rispettivi cani. Per loro è stata un' esperienza stupenda, hanno avuto a disposizione oltre ad una casa che li ha accettati tranquillamente, anche uno splendido terreno recintato e fuori di esso, una spazio a perdita d' occhio per correre liberi e felici. La mattina pur essendo dicembre, ci siamo sempre goduti un' alba bellissima. La posizione in cui si trova, ci ha consentito di visitare agevolmente molti paesini e città e infine ci siamo rilassati anche alle terme che distano pochissimo dal casale. Es war einfach wie im Paradies. Absolute Ruhe, der Blick ein Traum, das Haus ein Juwel. Alles so wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pizzaofen und die Grillstelle waren der Hit. Alles Tip Top sauber und extrem gut ausgestattet. Einfach unfassbar schön und außergewöhnlich. Gaia die Gastgeberin war super lieb und hat immer sofort geantwortet. Dafür vergebe ich gleich nochmals 10 Sterne. Man fühlte sich total gut aufgehoben und aufs herzlichste willkommen. Man muss die Abgeschiedenheit allerdings mögen. Wer Action, viele Restaurants etc. gleich ums Eck möchte, der ist hier fehl am Platz. Die Lage ist optimal um Siena, Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, einfach das ganze Val d'Orcia zu erkunden. Entfernung Arezzo, San Gimignano ca. eineinhalb Stunden. Nächster Coop ca. 20 Minuten in Monterroni. Ich kann diese Unterkunft absolut weiter empfehlen. Bitte auf etwas schwierige Straßenverhältnisse einstellen, was aber nichts untypisches in der Toscana ist.

Abbiamo trascorso il Capodanno presso questa casetta meravigliosa , in mezzo ad un giardino , con tutti i comfort necessari. Fabrizioa Saverio sono due Host meravigliosi e gentili nonché molto attenti alle esigenze del cliente. le terme a pochi chilometri e la pulizia della casa perfetta sono anche questi elementi da non sottovalutare! ritorneremo e consigliamo tantissimo questo alloggio!

The house was a lovely spot for our time in Tuscany, just the right size for two people. It has a nice view of the hills, which made the terrace a pleasant place to relax. The home itself is cozy and well-kept. Our host was helpful and quick to respond to any questions, which we appreciated. It’s a good option for anyone looking for a peaceful base in the Tuscan countryside without too many frills :)

La Selvolina is een geweldige plek om te relaxen en te genieten van de omgeving, maar ook van het heerlijke zwembad. Het huis is fijn, de keuken heel volledig. Alles is aanwezig voor een heerlijk verblijf. Bij vragen werd er altijd snel en heel vriendelijk gereageerd, wat we als heel prettig en welkom ervaren hebben. La Selvolina is een heerlijk rustige plek, ongeveer 30 minuten lopen (berg op) of 5 minuten per auto naar Roccastrada. Met wat geluk zie je reeën in de tuin en hoor je ‘s nachts de uilen. Het is wel raadzaam om een SUV te hebben, omdat de weg niet verhard is.
