Good communication with the host and nearby airport fits my requirements. The apartment is too big for two people; it is better to rent for four people :) Thanks for hosting us and being responsive regarding our delayed flight:)

Communication with the hosts was perfect, from checking in, through getting some local recommendations to checking out. The owners are very thoughtful of their guests, there was a basket of local goodies waiting for us in the apartment when we arrived. The only thing I could complain about the apartment are the beds. They're just 140cm wide, quite hard, bouncy and very squeaky. Other than that, all was perfect, the kitchen is perfectly equiped. The place is very peaceful, it was just us and the ocean. Highly recommended!

My husband and I are in our 60's, we did not hire a car but relied on the buses. The Number two bus is right outside, the number 1 & 3 are down the hill and a bit of a walk, easier for us if we walk a bit of a zig zag- up one block stop for a wee sip and then continue :) the number 4 bus stops about one block down and over a block. We took the bus to Lido and enjoyed the swimming complex with a huge pool, lockers , showers. We enjoyed a few jazz venues, walking along the promenade and roof top views. The apartment was lovely and had a nice cross breeze and a washer/dryer. We would book again. :)

Muito feliz por ter escolhido este apartamento. Para além de ser lindíssimo, está muito bem localizado. A piscina no rooftop é maravilhosa e ter estacionamento nesta zona central é a cereja no topo do bolo. O apartamento tem tudo o necessário para uma estada formidável. Fomos em família (casal e criança) e adoramos. Voltaremos! Obrigada por tudo

We booked Manny's place for the location, and because we liked the photographs, and we could not have made a better choice. The apartment was all we expected and needed, a real home from home, with a balcony to relax on, and a well-equipped kitchen. As a central location, it is perfect for exploring Funchal. Manny is an excellent host. He and his son greeted us at the flat when we arrived with a gift of traditional Madeira cake, local bananas and a fulltray of coffee pods! He talked us through the various appliances (though there's a handy how-to booklet too) and discussed our plans, giving us various recommendations and advice. He also messaged a couple of times during our stay to check everything was OK, and came to the apartment to say goodbye when it was time to leave. It was reassuring to know he would be there if we needed anything. We would definitely book this apartment again - it suited us beautifully, and you won't find a better host than Manny.

Die Wohnung von Eva ist Neuwertig und sehr ruhig mit schöner Aussicht. ( leider nicht direkt aufs Meer) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben war Eva immer gleich zur stellen um uns zu helfen.

we had a great stay in Catherine's apartment. this is a fantastic and superior apartment which is very well equipped with everything in terms of cooking facilities, utensils etc and is very comfortable and relaxing . The Balcony is spacious with fantastic views of the harbour, ocean and town. The rooftop pool and gym are an added bonus . we had the pool to ourselves on most days during our stay. there is a really good fish restaurant just along the street and the main bus stop for funchal etc is just at end of street we would reccomend this apartment to anyone planning a stay in Camara de lobos. The apartment was very clean with all new equipment . There was some road noise during morning traffic but not too bad as just single lane one way street and there is good standard of double glazing. Catherine and Anna Maria communicated well with us at all times and ensured we had everything we needed.

Toppenlägenhet i gamla stan i slutet av en gågata och med utsikt ut mot hamnen. Vi trodde det skulle vara lite livligt i och med att balkongen vätte ut mot gågatan men det var lugnt. Det fanns massor av restauranger direkt när du går ut genom dörren. Inom ett par hundra meter så har du hjärtat av den gamla stadskärnan. Mycket bra att parkeringskort till p-huset ett par hundra meter bort ingick. Ett måste om man hyr bil som vi gjorde. OurMadeira hade informerat om att grannhuset hade pågående renoveringsarbeten men att det under vår period inte skulle vara några pågående arbeten. Det stämde. Allt fungerade bra och vi kan verkligen rekommendera lägenheten.

Super Unterkunft die den Bildern entspricht :) Man hört die Wellen rauschen und ist am sonnigsten Punkt der Insel. Die Kommunikation war gut und es wurde sehr umsichtig mit Wünschen und Kritik umgegangen.

We stayed at Marco’s apartment with our 1-year-old baby and spent three wonderful weeks there. The accommodation is located in the sunniest part of the island. From the 4th floor, there’s a stunning view of the ocean from both terraces where you can watch the sunset too. The living room is bathed in sunlight all day and overlooks a peaceful park above the plaza. In my opinion, the apartment is even cozier than it appears in the photos and is fully equipped with everything you might need. We cooked and did laundry quite a lot during our stay. There are several restaurants, a hair salon, and a toy shop in the same building as the apartment. Across the street, there’s a greengrocer, and just a few steps away is a shopping mall. The playground is located in park just a block away from the apartment, and at the beginning of the street, there’s a traditional bakery filled with local delicacies. Communication with Marco was very smooth, he’s truly a wonderful host!

Here’s my review of the stay: In short, it was simply perfect! The apartments were clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The view of the ocean and the sunsets was our favorite part. We felt completely at home!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen - die Sonnenuntergänge vom Balkon aus waren unser abendliches Highlight! Die Wohnung war super, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Nellita war immer erreichbar bei Rückfragen und sehr hilfsbereit - wir kommen gerne wieder!

A minha estadia foi simplesmente maravilhosa! O apartamento estava impecável, ainda mais bonito do que nas fotos, e muito bem decorado, com tudo o que precisávamos para nos sentirmos em casa. A localização é perfeita, perto de tudo o que precisamos para explorar a cidade. A D. Isabel foi extremamente simpática, acolhedora e atenciosa, sempre pronta a ajudar com dicas locais e a garantir que nossa estadia fosse a melhor possível. Ela se mostrou muito prestativa em todos os momentos, fazendo-nos sentir super à vontade. Sem dúvida, recomendo este lugar e com certeza voltarei em uma próxima oportunidade.

Amazing and it was just as advertised! The place itself was incredible-beautifully furnished, extremely clean, and located in a perfect spot. The spectacular city views, comfortable amenities, and overall ambiance made it feel like a true home away from home. Betty was amazing, providing excellent communication and making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The only improvement I could suggest for the property would be to have a washer-dryer combo instead of just a washer. With a combo, we could load the washer before leaving the apartment and ensure the laundry was dry when we came back. As it was, we were technically only able to do one load a day since we didn't spend much time inside the apartment. However, there were plenty of racks to dry the clothes so we managed. Overall, the property itself was fantastic, and I would love to stay there again.

The flat is very clean, it has everything you need for your stay and it is close to the sea. We enjoyed every moment of our holiday, it was great to be able to hear the sea from the flat. I can absolutely recommend the flat and the location, and as a plus the coffee and the baked goods at the bakery below the flats are just great. If you like jogging, this is also the perfect place for that. You can run from the flat to the historical city centre and then run along the sea and watch the waves. Just an amazing experience. There are quite some hiking trails nearby, so after some beach time you can easily go for a wonderful hike. The hosts are very nice and friendly. Overall I can only recommend this place.

Hemos pasado unos días fantásticos en Farinha's apartment. Apartamento confortable y bien cuidado. Camas muy cómodas. Zona tranquila. Bien situado en la isla para moverse a todos lados y conocerla. Todo lo necesario cerca a pie, supermercado, panadería, farmacia,.. Alojamiento muy recomendable. Vanda y Fátima responden cualquier duda rápido. Pot la hora del vuelo nos adecuaron el horario del check-in sin problema. Y con detalle de bienvenida...riquísimos los plátanos y el bolo de miel de caña.

My son and I have just returned from Susanas studio. Communication was absolutely brilliant prior to our trip and during the trip. Susana was really friendly and very quick to reply to messages The studio is just like the pictures. Light, clean and everything you need. Having access to the hotel pool and sauna was a huge bonus. Perfekte Unterkunft, um Madeira zu entdecken , fussläufig ins Zentrum für Restaurants und Shopping , sehr sauber und komfortabel, bequeme Betten, Reiseführer , Wanderführer , Ladekabel sind da. Die Kommunikation war immer schnell , flexibel und freundlich . Angenehme Wohnanlage mit Tiefgarage und großem Pool. Sehr zu empfehlen. Vorsicht beim Navigieren - nur mit goo. gle maps arbeiten , oder bei Leonel nachfragen . Danke nochmals !

We had a great stay at Paula's place. She responded very quickly to messages and welcomed us herself and showed us around. She also gave us a list of various recommendations- both for places to visit and very good restaurants. She also helped us get a good deal for a car rental. The apartment itself was super well equipped. Paula had even left for us beach towels and a fresh bag of coffee which we found a nice gesture. The location is very good, close to cafes, a big supermarket and down the stairs to the beach. Yes it's steep to get there but this is Madeira! There's not much to dislike. Maybe the bed was a bit hard and narrow but we still slept quite well tired after long days. The water in the pool was also rather on a cold side but it didn't stop the kids from swimming every day.

This is a 5* +++ apartment. Spacious beyond belief. Amazing views of the hillside, watching the lights twinkle, the stadium lights way up on top and the moon rising from behind the hill. Kitchen really well equipped with quality items. Beds big and comfy. Brilliant location for the coast, cable car, old town and restaurants. Betty is a wonderful host. Best Airbnb we have stayed in. Highly recommend.

Geweldig verblijf! Fijne host, vriendelijk. Appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Jacuzzi is echt fantastische toevoeging! Ook een heerlijk terras. naar beneden naar het dorpje of de zee lopen is goed te doen, zoek wel de binnendoor wandelpaden op en niet via Google over de grote weg wandelen!

An amazing stay on the beautiful island of Maderia. I would 1000% stay here again and would HIGHLY recommend this spot to others. Super friendly host, upfront communication, BEAUTIFUL grounds with pool and jacuzzi to use at your leisure. Staying here added so much value to our trip! L’appartement est très agréable et très fonctionnel. Ils est très bien équipé. L’environnement est extraordinaire, la résidence est très calme. Ce séjour a vraiment été très sympathique, nous avons passé de très bons moments. Merci.
