Where do I begin? The trip was unbelievably beautiful. From the amazing Airbnb location with an even more amazing host to the majestic and magical scenery of the island. The landscape was astonishingly lush and green, the water a glistening blue like I have never seen before. For anyone into hiking or just a relaxing vacation on the beach, this island has got it all. The hikes are unparalleled! There is something for everyone, from relatively easy, flat, and stunning coastal hikes to intense routes at crazy elevation. Our host Bruno was extremely helpful and a kind soul. The amenities, bathroom, and bed were clean and well maintained—especially the Jacuzzi with the extraordinary view! Bruno, meu amigo, you are most definitely living the dream on this incredible paradise of an island. Once again, thank you for everything! We would love to come back someday. Der Check-In verlief super einfach. Wir wurden von beiden Gastgebern herzlich empfangen. Die Wohnung selbst liegt wunderschön mit Blick aufs Meer. Die Wohnung selbst ist super ausgetattet und sehr gepflegt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Zugang zur Waschmaschine und Reinigungs-und Putzmittel. Bei 8 Nächten fand ich es sehr hilfreich auch mal selbst durchsaugen zu können. Der Garten ist wunderschön gepflegt und lädt wunderbar zum verweilen ein. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral in Seixal. Innerhalb von 2 Gehminuten ist man beim Supermarkt. Die Aussicht ist in ganz Seixal großartig!! Danke für die schöne Zeit☀️

We loved the apartment and Cristiana who greeted us was very nice she was always responsive The only downside was im 62 and my partner 71 the apartment is up a steep hill we managed to walk down ok but got taxis back up which where very cheap around 5 euro so we managed. There are plenty of restaurants down the hill and a few local to the apartment. The owners also arranged transfers which was great as driver new where to go

This was the perfect stay for my Madeira getaway! I was greeted by my host who was friendly and welcoming and showed me everything I needed to know, and then he left me to enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean. My host was always available to answer questions and even helped me with a transportation recommendation to get to and from the airport. I found the location to be ideal for everything that I wanted to do, and grocery shopping was close by. I am already thinking about my next trip to Madeira and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Miguel's apartment for 4 days - we had the most amazing time. The view was outstanding and we got engaged on the balcony! It was immaculately clean and tidy, and extremely comfortable! Madeira and this apartment will always hold a special place in our hearts. Could not recommend more.

Sofia's place was a great base for our holiday in Madeira, great that it had easy parking on the street outside, and the flat had a well equipped kitchen for making meals, it looks exactly like the photos. The view from the flat is stunning, next door have a very cute and friendly dog, we would stay here again! Sofia was very helpful with organising check in and meeting us at the flat, and gave us recommendations of places to eat as well, thank you!

We couldn't have asked for anything more, always answered quickly and worth what we paid. Our kettle broke and was replaced straight away no issues. We got engaged whilst on the island and this apartment was the perfect setting to enjoy the moment. Beautiful location, can't wait to come back!

Beautiful apartment with a great view of the ocean. 10 minutes drive to the waterfront Marina and many downtown attractions, and highways to go further out of Funchal.

prima huisje op een prachtige plek met mooi uitzicht. Even wennen aan de steile en smalle wegen maar na een paar dagen ben je het gewend. Met de uitleg van Johnny kun je een heel steile weg naar het huisje vermijden. Garage aanwezig met een steile inrit. Het huis is voor 2 personen erg ruim maar voor 4 volwassenen KAN de huiskamer net te krap zijn door 2 minder comfortabele stoelen. Bedden lagen heerlijk en waren perfect. 2 badkamers, 1 met bad en 1 met een heerlijke douche. Het terras buiten ligt op het zuiden met een prachtig uitzicht. Funchal ligt op 45 minuten rijden, grote supermarkt binnen 15 minuten. Keuken in goed uitgerust. Wij hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad in dit perfecte huisje waar je alleen zit, zonder eigenaar op hetzelfde terrein. Alles perfect alleen de huiskamer heeft een flinke echo door de lege vide. Maar verder een complete aanrader als je een auto tot je beschikking hebt.

This place is even better than advertised! The photos don’t do it justice, the interior and exterior is much more spacious than expected, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The full ocean view from every window in the house is simply breathtaking, and the privacy makes it a perfect getaway. The WiFi was excellent, making it easy to stay connected when needed. Bruno was a fantastic host, offering great restaurant recommendations and checking in to ensure everything was perfect during our stay. If you're looking for a stunning, private, and comfortable place to stay, this is it! Highly recommend and would definitely return.

We thoroughly our stay. Mariana and Miguel provided a warm and informative welcome with helpful recommendations and insights. Lots of comfortable outdoor lounging areas situated to take in the beautiful ocean vista. Parking was onsite and easily accessible. All aspects of the property were very clean. Bed was remarkably large and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt und die Lage ist sensationell. Es war alles da was man braucht und uns wurde auch vor Ankunft das Reisebett aufgebaut.

We had a wonderful time in Maria's Airbnb. Even the bad weather did not dampen our spirits, only our clothes. Maria told us about using Bolt a service like Uber which was absolutely great value. I suggest that everyone going to Madeira should use it. Like another review there is a lot of dog noise at night. But if windows are kept closed it is not really a problem. Highly recommend visiting Madeira and Maria's Airbnb.

Geweldig, heel schoon en ruim verblijf met fantastisch dakterras! Bed sliep heel goed, rustige omgeving, handig dat er een kleine supermarkt direct om de hoek zit (lekkere broodjes ook). Grotere supermarkt in Calheta op 3 tot 4 kilometer. In de woning heel veel kastruimte en ook de keuken was van alle gemakken en allerlei spullen voorzien, incl was-, afwasmachine en droger. Angela heeft werkelijk aan alles gedacht! Communicatie ook steeds prima, ook vooraf al. Als we weer in deze omgeving van Madeira komen, kiezen we zeker heel graag weer voor de mooie woning van Angela!

Overall good apartment I would stay again + private Parking + Not far from Funchal if you have car. Walking to Funchal will be difficult + Road to get to place not supper narrow + Garden + Good bed + Wine and fruits on arrival + Good electric kettle ~ Air can be damp but opening balcony door helps immediately. This is probably due to Madeira climate ~ There are four other guest. Which might be a problem. But on our stay other guest were barely noticeable. We stayed on first floor. - Coating on pots and pans were scratched. Probably unsafe to cook on them. Best to have pots without any coating. Other kitchen appliances in good condition

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage in Miguels guesthouse und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die schöne, weitläufige und z.T. überdachte Terasse war super, um sich viel draussen aufzuhalten, auch wenn mal ein Schauer vorbeizog. Auch der Empfang war sehr freundlich und Miguel hat uns alles gezeigt, was man so wissen musste.

We stayed here for 1 week and had a great time. Apartment is very spacious, even for 2 people. Kitchen equipment is well maintained, allowing us to cook most nights. Location is very good getting into Funchal or around the island for hikes - easy access for the car space helped with this too. Finally, the balcony pic advertised doesn’t do it justice at all - beautiful view of Funchal, the mountains and the sea.

We had a lovely stay at Daniela’s Apartment. The view was incredible and the apartment was very clean and modern. Despite the weather was not quite good we experienced the island with our car - which was necessary for the area and to get easy to the apartment and to the small town. The apartment is up on the hill. By good weather you can enjoy the sun at the rooftop terrace with the pool! So good! Communication with Daniela was easy and everything went well. If we are deciding to travel again to Madeira we will definitely book it again! ☺️

Ce séjour chez Annikka était une superbe expérience. L'appartement est idéalement situé, ce qui permettait d'être à moins d'une heure de route de toutes les activités de l'île (location de voiture fortement conseillée, voir obligatoire). La zone est calme et l'appartement offre une vue sur l'océan même depuis le lit quand on se réveille ! Il est rare de trouver une place disponible sur le parking privé de la résidence si l'on souhaite se garer en soirée, cependant nous avons toujours trouvé une place dans les rues avoisinantes comme nous l'avait expliqué l'hôte (en face de l'hotel Baia Azul par exemple). Tout est bien équipé et les instructions étaient très claires, nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter ! Laura & Rio

It was our second stay in Fatima's apartment and we were once again very satisfied. The view is spectacular and the apartment has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped to do some cooking. Also, the restaurant at Paleihro Golf nearby is really good and closeby - if you have a car. Fatima is quick to answer any questions. Thank you for another lovely stay!

Great escape from Funchal! I was on the fence about booking a second place for our 5 day trip, but the serenity of Seixal at this place was a trip highlight. In addition to the balcony and patio views of the coast, the home was modern and clean. 100% recommend!

Dejlig lejlighed. Skønt med gratis parkering i kælderen. Tæt på lufthavn, vand og Funchal. Senge og hovedpuder lidt hårde og dyner lidt kolde. Venlige værter. Kan klart anbefales.

Amazing apartment! We really felt like home, there was everything needed and beautiful view, comfortable beds with memory foam pillows what made the sleep very good. This you cant find in many places. Andre and Lauren was very helpful! So I can only say good words about this place and the host.If I will go to Madeira again will stay there again! Definitely recommend!

The apartment is secure, clean, quiet, comfortable and furnished in a very relaxing style. The kitchen is well equipped with kitchen-ware, you lack nothing. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable, you sleep well. There are plenty of storage places at your disposal, wardrobes with hangers, hooks to put your outerware. The terrace is "the icing on the cake"! A place for relaxing while enjoying the view! Carlos is very service minded, you feel that he honestly wants you to have a problem free stay. He is very thoughtful, there was breakfast in the fridge, fresh fruit on the kitchen table and even a bottle of wine. Appreciated! You have walking distance to restaurants and sights. Good to know: Funchal is a downhill/upphill town... Time for summary: our stay (two weeks) in Carlos apartment was flawless, you get a "home from home" feeling!
