Gorgeous time away with family for New Year. Cottage very spacious as well as cosy and the views are spectacular.

Lovely and peaceful, with super loch views and a relaxed vibe. Nicely curated and perfect for our elderly golden retriever as everything was, bar a few steps here and there, on one level. The covered deck is ideal whatever the weather. Would recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at your gorgeous cosy house. We loved the festive theme, an ideal space to spend Xmas and New Year. Waking up to those stunning views was such a bonus and we made good use of the hot tub especially after doing the Hidden Heritage Trail which was stunning. We enjoyed seeing in the New Year and a meal at The Village Inn (literally a 2 minute walk away) with the Scottish piper adding to the festive atmosphere. Trotters Burn was a perfect home away from home for our time on the Isle of Skye. The kitchen had everything we needed. A grocery store, gas station and restaurants were nearby and the location was convenient for day trips.

We had a great stay at Alison&Thomas's cottage. It was as described, well appointed and tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The well stocked wood burner was so cosy and warm. Great location to explore from and I would definitely stay again. Thank you both.

We absolutely adored our stay here. It was very comfortable and cozy, felt like home instantly. Walking distance to a wonderful restaurant that had been recommended. A fabulous wee cottage and the surrounding area was beautiful. Great base for hill walking and exploring everything Loch Ness has to offer. Kate was very informative from the very beginning, always quick to respond to any queries we had. Loved the welcome items and the little bag of goodies for our dog. Very peaceful location. Beautiful countryside. Close to popular tourist locations. Comfortable cottage. Made to feel welcome by owners. Dog friendly. Especially enjoyed the woodburning stove, which warmed up the whole place.

It was a treat staying at A Sean Tigh for the week. It was a good base for going out and about as plenty of places to visit and walk around in the area. Hosts are a professional young couple with family as well as running a Croft and were friendly, amiable and approachable. I will definitely being staying here in the future and have no qualms in recommending to others for a stay.

A stunning location for this cottage. It was peaceful and has incredible views over the waters to the mountains. It was wonderful to see the tide come and go, we felt close to nature. The cottage was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. There are games and books and enough for wood for your first night there. Underfloor heating was lovely and the fire heated the house really well to the point I needed to open the door to cool down - which is great to know you won’t be cold when you’re up there at the end of Autumn! Having a bath while looking out in the views to the mountains felt like a luxury.

Beautiful and homely cottage in a stunning setting. We saw highland cows, seals, hares and of course sheep, practically right on the doorstep. So quiet and peaceful, with amazing views at all times of day/ no matter the weather. Cally was an amazing host and always very helpful and easy to talk to. We loved meeting her dogs too!

What a wonderfully quiet, idyllic location with spectacular views. The sound of Curlews in the morning was enchanting. Fiona and Geoff were the perfect hosts and we would certainly highly recommend this cottage.

Of all the places I’ve stayed, Jacqui’s cottage will likely forever be my favorite. So much so that I could easily have abandoned my highland adventures everyday and just stayed home with a book in front of the fire. The cottage is so thoughtfully designed and stocked (with a bunch of personal touches like homemade jam and fresh eggs), in addition to being absolutely spotless and smelling like a dream. The woodlands around the property are an unreal level of peacefulness and as a solo female traveler, I appreciate show incredibly safe I always felt. Truly cannot wait to come back.

1st time staying at Islay Cottage, the cottage is very quaint set in beautiful surroundings with a waterfall not 1 minute down the road. The cottage was immaculate and well presented, our favourite bit was the log burner. We shall definitely be back again in the next couple of months. Thank you Fiona for sharing this little piece of paradise with us.

Such an incredible location! Arrived at night so waking up the following morning to the surrounding was fantastic. Kids had the best time playing the snow and we explored the walking tracks literally outside the cottage. The cottage itself had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable. Such a great escape where we were able to reset and reconnect as a family. We’ll definitely be back in warmer months to experience the bike tracks nearby.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The views were absolutely stunning. It was the perfect escape for me and my 9-year-old daughter; we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage was cozy, clean, and just what we needed to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat and very close to Loch Lomond.

We had a lovely stay in the Bothy, beautiful location and will be returning in the summer for a long weekend. Alison & Dave are very helpful . Wonderful HOSTS.
