had the best time here ever. highly recommend this home, was truly amazing and debbie and her husband could not of been more helpful with recommendations and places to visit aswell as coming to our rescue so quickly when gusts hit us harder than expected. the house was really warm when we arrived and welcoming a real home from home, easy to find and absolutely superb location a real hidden gem. ideal location between all the local popular walks and attractions but also peaceful and private for the quiet evenings watching the sun set and the snow on the mountains. words cant describe the beauty the views are you really need to experience this home, i wish we could of stayed longer. would visit again in a heart beat. it was worth the 12 hour drive ❤️

Absolutely beautiful stay in Dalavich. The views from the dining room and hot tub were next level. George was extremely helpful with all recommendations and there is a helpful manual in the property on things to do around. Having a car is vital and make sure to do a shop before getting to the property but the village shop allowed us to pick up some bits we ran out of which was a bonus. Could not recommend more and will definitely be back!

Super cosy. Perfect for couples. Bed amazingly comfy. Outdoor fire pit/cooking area is brilliant. Just a fantastic place to stay. Our second time here and will be coming back

An incredible stay right on the loch. Stunning views from the lounge window, and if you choose, from the hot tub too! Would recommend for a romantic get away or even with a bunch of friends as we did!

Alan is a fantastic host - he popped by in person but was also responsive by text when I had a query or two. The house is perfect for a group and the large kitchen and living room was great for spending time together. The house was well equipped with various things you might need - glasses for fizz, speakers, HDMI cables etc. The view is also lovely. Would recommend!

Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

Had a wonderful stay and wish we had more time! :( Booked out of season, so the holiday park was super quite and peaceful! Wonderful woodlands, bird song, breathtaking walks through woodland. The homes was super well equipped and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a bliss! Even when it rained, the gorgeous rain sounds on the roof made the feel even more cosy. Thank you very much for having us soon and hope we can be back soon

The Summer House exceeded our expectations. It is more spacious than it looks on the photos. It is very nicely furnished and decorated and is cosy and warm. Penny has thought of everything to make your stay an enjoyable one . Her directions to get there were easy to follow and she recommended several places for us to visit also with clear directions . Archie, her husband , is also very knowledgeable about the island and is very approachable. All in all, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend a stay at Knockenkelly.

If you are looking for off-the-beaten-track luxury with incredible wildlife, views of beautiful Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains which are second to none - then this is the place for you! Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay here and we were sad to leave. We highly recommend this Air BnB and we would love to visit again. Note: we were thankful to find teabags and coffee - but bring your own milk. ;)

One of the most beautiful locations in Scotland and Eleanor’s home is in the perfect spot to take it all in. Perfect for a quick walk to the village but still feels private and safe. Close to nature trails for hiking that have incredible views of the Loch. Eleanor herself was very helpful/responsive when we had questions and the neighbours were very welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The view is unbelievable and we had a few animal visitors (red squirrel, various bird species) throughout our stay. We look forward to returning to this wonderful home.

Cottage was very well equipped with everything you would need for cooking your own meals. I thought it was a lovely touch that ruth had incuded everything from cleaning products, toilet tissue, kitchen roll. And also the lovely prosecco cheese and oatcakes that was left for us. We all had a lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future if we ever visit Arran again. Thank you Ruth for a lovely time.

Brilliant stay! Great location, short walk to a swimming beach, distillery and a slightly longer but easy walk to the pub - perfect. Great value for money with everyone blown away by the house. Pi was great about letting us check in slightly early and check out late if we helped by getting a wash-on.

Grant and Laura were perfect hosts who made us feel very welcome and provided invaluable local information such as where to find fossils. Their cottage was beautiful, well equipped with everything you need (even fast WIFI) and toasty warm with underfloor heating and a cozy open fire. Lots of space in the cottage and a lovely jacuzzi bath to relax in after walking through the stunning countryside in the surrounding area. A perfect holiday for us. Would highly recommend and we will definitely return.

Elaine’s place was perfect for our stay. Only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. We felt right at home and would 100% stay again!

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at James's caravan. The views are stunning and the area is situated within easy reach of various other attractions and places to visit. Would highly recommend.

A lovely, modern, well-designed environmentally sensitive building with three en-suite rooms opening on to a spacious living/kitchen area. Great views up towards Ben Nevis. Being about mid-way on the island exploring north and south on foot is easy. Wonderfully near the only shop and the community centre cafe and museum. Food at the cafe is punching above its weight for a small island with a great menu. Clare has an organic kitchen garden which can provide fresh veg if available plus eggs from the chickens.
