The old Missouri farm house was amazing. Comfortable beds, lovely kitchen and living room. I would 100% recommend it.

This is our 6th year coming to the Salida area and this is by far our favorite. Could not have asked for anything better.

I wish I could put this experience into words. The entire place is family, individual friendly. There is so much to do and make lasting memories and Eric and Hope are like extended family. This place is something very special.

We loved staying here and getting to meet the horses and very friendly cats! The apartment is cozy and clean and we appreciated the bathrobes and breakfast items and country views. Steph kindly helped us meet her beautiful mustangs and told us about the farm, and the cats were incredibly cuddly. A lovely experience!

Jenn treated us as when we arrived . Carmel apple cobbler was so delicious. We had crazy weather. High winds, then snow, power outages and then beautiful our last day. Jenn stayed in touch with us the whole time and responded quickly when we needed something. She told us to completely disregard the check out times and said we should sleep in and enjoy our family time. We were able to feed the animals the last day we were there. Even with the crazy weather, this would still have to be our most favorite place. This will definitely be our #1 choice! Thank you Jenn and John!!

This is a must-stay for those of us that are fine with farm life, comfortably rustic accommodations, nature, and being a little remote. Connie was fantastic about communication and she met me upon my arrival to show me around. She's a wealth of knowledge about that area and a fellow animal lover. Make sure to visit the horses and the chickens! The farm dogs and cats are sweet and fun to observe. The bunkhouse is exactly what I was looking for. Everything I could need was easy to find and the entire place is very clean. Connie was such a wonderful host: welcoming and accommodating. I only talked to Paul a few times but found him to be personable and kind. Thank you for a wonderful stay. It's perfect.

Jan and George were so helpful snd flexible-- permitting us to artive early and check-out late-- making the trip a lot easier on us. The cabin is beautiful, and very comfortable-- great for a modestly sized group of friends or a family. My friends and I had a great time, and we loved being the only cabin secluded in the woods. The rope swings were also super fun.

The Shouse is a quaint adorable place equipped with a full bath and kitchen which made it an ideal weekend getaway. We were greeted by the various friendly farm dogs which was a treat. The place being pet friendly was a huge bonus! The place was quite clean, albeit a bit dusty so if you have dust allergies I highly recommend carrying some allegra or claritin. It rained the entire time we were there so we unfortunately didn't get to explore the farm and surroundings but we hope to be back another weekend with better weather to get the full experience! The nearest grocery store is in California (which is well equipped!) so we didn't have to bring groceries with us which was a huge plus! If a quiet and peaceful weekend exploring the farm and countryside is what you're looking for then I would highly recommend giving the Shouse a try!

We had a great stay! Google maps did take us to a house one driveway past the right one. Luckily a nice gentleman directed us where to go. He said he frequently gets people at his home looking for the Airbnb. We loved enjoying the hot tub and mornings watching the cows. Though the area is quite private, it is still a working ranch. In the morning and evening, a gentleman on a gator was driving through the nearby pastor doing his work. Just be mindful of that possibility, I had the curtains drawn one morning as he came by and was standing in the kitchen in a shirt and my knickers. 😆 This place is perfect for a recharge and is close to great restaurants and plenty to do. The Mid America Museum was an awesome visit along with the shops in Hot Springs. We will absolutely be returning!!!

We were very happy with our stay. Such a peaceful area, our Great Dane and Great Pyrenees really enjoyed walking the property with us. The barndo was cozy and had everything we wanted! We had a nice weekend getaway, thanks!

We rented this for judge's for our dog show. They all loved the place. We will definitely be back again.

Our stay was tranquil. I hated to leave, really. We were there because my husband had business in the city. Next time I would just like to stay - not leave the cottage. Restful, serene - just wonderful.

This stay was absolutely breathtaking. My fiancé and I fell in love the second we arrived. The home was very neat and cozy, and felt just like a home should! The property looked even better in person! There was so much to explore and the cows were just too cute. The house had everything we needed to cook which was a huge plus because we cooked the whole weekend. The hosts were more than welcoming which made the trip so much better. We definitely will be coming back❤️

It was a great place to stay. Nice and quite. Gayle was always quick to respond with any questions I had. It reminded me of my Great Grandparents farm house from when I was young. I felt right at home.

Great host. We only spent a few house here sleeping before and after a concert but the place was beautiful. We were not able to enjoy the many amenities but they were all available.

This is a lovely home which has been beautifully decorated, and the setting is very peaceful. We loved our weekend there and would definitely return for another stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this home with our group of six women. The house was roomy, giving everyone plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable. It was spotless and beautifully decorated with such cute and thoughtful touches. The beds were comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The outdoor area was such a nice addition – we only wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed it even more. Kind and responsive host.
