This was a great place to stay for a three day weekend, and comfortably fit us three adults. The hosts were quickly responding and the amenities listed were available. A very walkable community as well!

Our host was very communicative and made checkin and checkout a breeze. The space was clean, and very cozy, I wish I booked for more nights! Felt like a home away from home. The location was also great, quiet yet walkable to restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It would not be appropriate for someone who couldn’t climb stairs. Dogs should be leashed when walking on the property and neighborhood as it is on a busy street. Our 3 small dogs enjoyed their stay.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this Airbnb! The space was beautifully clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts was incredibly welcoming and provided all the details needed for a smooth and stress-free check-in. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close to all the attractions I wanted to visit. I especially appreciated the little touches, like the comfortable bedding and decor, which made our stay extra special. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

We had a great time in DC. Carla and Fred’s place is in a great location (Capitol Hill) an ideal residential area with local parks, coffee shops, markets and restaurants an easy 10-20 minute walk. We arrived via Amtrack and Union Station which was at 20 minutes walk, but we did a lot of sightseeing and used Ubers to get around. The place was as described and pictured. We travelled with our two 13 y. o. grandchildren and Carla allowed us to check in early which we appreciated. The basement apartment is clean and cozy. I recommend it for 2 , ror a family because the other two beds aren’t truly separated from the main bed, however the 13 y.o. didn’t seem to mind, so it’s perfect for a family and gives more room and separation than a hotel room with two beds. Carla and Fred are a friendly couple with interesting stories to share. I’ll give them a 5!

Kimberly is an amazing host! I stayed at her Airbnb throughout the summer of DC and I felt as comfortable as I can be! She had plenty of bathroom and kitchen amenities. She was also extremely kind and responsive whenever something broke. Since I stayed for around few months, she was also extremely proactive in providing items like a cutting board if she didn't have it. I would say in the beginning, some of the dishes and pans were a little dirty but I cleaned those up pretty easily. In addition, if you are the type to not wear shoes in your living space, I would suggest cleaning the floors as I did. Other than that, I don't have any issues with the listing! Overall, this place is an amazing find for the price I paid, especially if you plan on staying for a few weeks or even a few months. Close to many bus stops that lead to downtown DC and the neighborhood itself is very quiet and safe. If I were to stay in DC again, I'll definitely stay at Kimberly's place again!

Perfect place for my 3-night stay. If I were to stay longer and need to cook, it would be tough as there is no counter space in the kitchen.

Cute, clean basement apartment. EZ in and out. Snacks were a plus. If visiting Parkview or Petworth, this is an excellent option for 1 or 2 people.

We spent a month in Danielle’s apartment. We’ve stayed in many AirBnB apartments and this one was by far the best stocked place we’ve ever been to. Danielle is super responsive, usually getting back to us immediately when we had questions or concerns. We discovered a few excellent restaurants walking distance away (Pikateo, Aracosia) that we’d go back to if we were there again. Having a UPS store in the building was super convenient. We’d definitely recommend this apartment and would stay there again if we’re in town for a while.
