The place was basic and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. I was shown around before handed the keys. Parking is free around the apartment but tight so be careful with hire cars (mine was scratched). It's about a 10min walk into the town area, there is a great family run restaurant to the right of the apartment and a few bars nearby. The nearest big supermarket is about 3mins drive away.

Place is great in a quiet location in the countryside with good ammenities including pool and outdoor seating. The third bed option could be a bit more comfy (pull out bed) but otherwise everything was wonderful. João is a really friendly host and allowed us to pick blueberries for breakfast which were delicious. Recommend staying here!

Excelente alojamento, perfeito para uma estadia mais longa. A facilidade e flexibilidade do check-in e check-out são um ponto positivo a apontar.

Estadia impecável, apartamento muito bem localizado, próximo às termas de São Pedro do Sul. Apartamento muito bem equipado, ótimo para passar alguns dias longe dos grandes centros urbanos. Anfitrião muito atencioso e amigável, explicou todo o processo de check in com recurso a vídeo e ainda nos indicou restaurante e locais a visitar durante a estadia. Sem dúvida uma experiência a repetir.

Excelente hospedagem no centro de Vila Real! O senhor Manuel e sua esposa nos recepcionaram com muita simpatia e cordialidade. O apartamento tem estilo no centro histórico. Nos sentimos muito bem durante os dias que ali passamos. Recomendo!!

La casa estaba impecable, muy acogedora y con todo lo necesario para una estancia perfecta. El dueño fue encantador desde el primer momento: nos recibió con productos típicos de la zona y nos dio excelentes recomendaciones sobre lugares que visitar y dónde comer. Sin duda, una experiencia de 10. ¡Muy recomendable!

What to say about our experience in Amarante at Miguel and Fernanda's apartment.. It was one of our most memorable. Access to the apartment is via a steep slope but it's pretty easy if you're used to Europe's narrow streets. The views of the river and downtown are very nice. Between Miguel and Fernanda they can communicate in most any language of those staying there. The apartment is beautiful, clean and welcoming. It has everything you need and if it didn't Miguel would be right there to help. He even helped us with a solution after we had left something behind. Don't forget to visit Fernanda's candy store! We highly recommend a stay at this apartment.

Cada detalhe, desde a decoração acolhedora até à vista deslumbrante, contribui para uma estada inesquecível. Nunca nos esqueceremos dos mergulhos na bela piscina com o por do sol, das gargalhadas e danças que duravam o dia inteiro. Vocês criaram um verdadeiro refúgio, onde nos sentimos em casa. We had a wonderful stay at Quinta Vila Poucha. The location was amazing close to Regua but away from the hustle and bustle. You do really need a car to make the most of this location, we walked up the hillside to the Quinta de Barca vineyard (2km hilly walk) we also got the train from Caldas do Moledo a couple of times (35 minutes walk along a busy road). We were looking for a quite relaxed place where we could cook meals and enjoy time together and we got it! The Quinta is massive very comfortably would sleep 4 or 5 people. There was a large dining room that we didn't even use, most eating outside or in the kitchen. We helped ourselves to fresh limes and pomegranates, and bought and drank the lovely wines left for guests. We couldn't find a BBQ or Kettle, so bought them and left for future guests. Our only improvement would be some additional garden furniture, the terrace and balcony are real sun traps and I struggled to get comfortable. We'd love to stay again!

Euripedes and his wife are kind and generous people. On arriving, Euripides was there to welcome us and gave us two bottles of wine as a welcome gift. He gave me so much time as I expressed an interest in learning Portuguese. Everyday, he would encourage me to talk in Portuguese. His wife also is very kind. Really kind and friendly.

logement calme, propre et plus grand que ce que je pensais. très bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, logement très bien isolé. Nous avons apprécié Si l'occasion se présente on y sejournera de nouveau.

Un accueil extrêmement chaleureux dans un site remarquable. Tout est beau et agréable. La patronne du café en contrebas parle un peu français et propose quelques produits de première nécessité avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Sinon il faut penser à faire les courses avant, pour passer un séjour en toute tranquillité ! Nous recommandons cette location sans réserve !

Um espaço bom para descansar. Deu para visitar Lamego, a Régua, Pinhão (restaurante Bufete 👌) e o fantástico Mosteiro de São João de Tarouca. Não perder a capela mais antiga de Portugal - São João de Bartolomeu. Tudo impecável.
