Loved this little place!! Perfect to see the surroundings. Very clean and comfortable!!

This cabin was great for our stay for our trips to the Golden Circle and South Iceland. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing and photos. Honestly it was bigger than what we thought it was going to be. The bedrooms were big enough for your luggage and the kids loved hanging out in the loft area. The cabin was well stocked with everything that you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus for our family. Hanging out in the hot tub each night was awesome. We even were able to see northern lights on 2 of our 4 nights! We also utilized the grill to make burgers one evening. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood that was easy to find. There were some troubles with the gate to get in, but Kristinn was quick to respond. All in all, we would not hesitate to stay at this cabin again in the future.

Our family voted this the best of all that we stayed at in Iceland. Beautiful place. Much bigger than any other location we stayed. Most receptive host! We will stay here again.

Checkin was a breeze and Alfa was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. Truly a beautiful home with everything you need, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Views from the home are absolutely stunning and the interior is very warm and welcoming. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would absolutely love to visit again.

Such a lovely cabin with an even more beautiful captivating lake view, has all the amenities one would need & the hot tub is such a nice bonus! would definitely book again!

My husband and I wanted to get away from the city and out in the country. This was the perfect place for us. The scenery around the cabin is breathtaking. We enjoyed the hottub and we're also able to view the Northern Lights on a few nights. The amenities inside were perfect and just what we needed. I was a little apprehensive about the shower being outside in a separate building, at first, but the water was hot and the pressure was excellent. Our stay was perfect and the communication with Vidar was top notch. Such a beautiful place.

I cannot say enough about how positive our experience with Helga and her home was! She was extremely proactive in her communication and went above and beyond to make the home comfortable for our 1st vacation with our 7 month old son. If you are looking for a calm, quiet, peaceful home-away-from-home, Helga's place is PERFECT! It is not a far drive from downtown Reijkavik and has fantastic proximity to Hvasmmsvik Hot Springs and the Golden Circle. We made memories that will last a lifetime holding our son and watching the Northern Lights dance across the sky from the floor to ceiling windows in the liviing room and loft. We cannot wait to return to Iceland and hope to find our way back to Helga's home!

Duidelijke instructies van de host, snelle reactie bij vragen. Klein schattig huisje, met alles er op en er aan! Natuur is erg mooi rondom het park, voor van winkels moet je wel wat verder rijden, maar goed bereikbaar met eigen auto. Top verblijf gehad!

Cabin was great. Clean, nice, well stocked. We enjoyed our stay. The only real improvement would be exterior lighting. There are no exterior lights, so it was hard to find after dark.

Gudny was an amazing, generous, and kind host. We felt immediately right at home and the home is well stocked with everything you could need as you adventure around Iceland. The location was excellent for our needs and it was quiet with beautiful views. The home was exactly as expected and the hot tub and outdoor shower were excellent! We would 100% stay again and highly recommend staying!!

Een heerlijke week overnacht in het huisje en getourt door de Golden Circle. 3x het noorderlicht gezien door weinig lichtvervuiling in de buurt! Fijn dat er vloerverwarming aanwezig was om het huisje op temperatuur te houden.

One of our memorable accommodation is this one with its very lovely cabin inside and out. It’s so cozy we dont want to leave! Everything we need is right there and it’s spotless. We learned of the story of the cabin and it became a more special stay. Thank you for allowing us to arrive early and all the suggestions we can do around the area. It was easy communicating with you and we had a fantastic stay!

Maria's cabin is out of the way on a small lake. The scenery is beautiful. The cabin had all the necessities and comfortable beds. One bedroom was on the small side, but the main bedroom was large. The only issue was a difference in how America and Icelandic people make their number 1's. I thought the Wi-Fi code had a 7 in it but it was a 1. After I figured that out, the Wi-Fi worked great. :-)

The house was amazing and the views of the mountains and Aurora Borealis were spectacular. An incredible place to stay.

We stayed with our two adult children for hunting some northern lights. The accommodation was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. A true recommendation if you look for a private, clean, quiet and modern stay with stunning views. Ragnar was always available and a helpful host.

This was a beautiful home outside of Reykjavik towards the Golden Circle that fit perfectly for a group trip with friends and/or family. It was a beautiful location and home for us to spend the night before we carry on our trip. Bjorn was incredibly responsive and kind to all questions and queries and ensured that we felt right at home. If you are planning on completing the Golden Circle, the Ring Road and just want a nice relaxing getaway in the rural countryside, we strongly recommend this location!

Rikke war eine freundliche und umsorgende Gastgeberin. Die Unterkunft war perfekt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir konnten alles nutzen und hatten gleich das Gefühl willkommen und zu Hause zu sein. Alles ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet und man merkt, dass das Haus auch privat genutzt wird. Die Gegend eignet sich prima für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Sonnenaufgänge und jede Nacht traumhafte Polarlichter, haben uns den Einstieg in den Island-Urlaub erleichtert. Perfekt, danke!

Our stay at this charming cottage in Borgarbyggð was absolutely perfect! The house had all the essentials. It felt like a true home away from home. The cottage itself was beautiful and peaceful, providing a serene escape after our days exploring West Iceland. Its location was ideal as a base for our adventures, allowing us to easily visit all the stunning sights in the region. We particularly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings; it was so quiet and relaxing. The host was also very responsive. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay while exploring West Iceland. We'd love to return someday!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt bei Rainer. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und bieten einen guten Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Gegend.

We had a magical time at Sabrina’s cabin! Sabrina was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed as well as close to many sights. We saw the northern lights from the cabin our first night! Unforgettable :) Book it!!!

Arni’s cottage was absolutely beautiful and the scenery was amazing - we were even lucky enough to see the northern lights from the cabin which was an unforgettable experience! Arni’s instructions were super clear and helpful, thanks for having us!
