I structured this review into three sections to provide as much useful information as possible for interested guests: the apartment, the location, and the host. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and located right by the beach. Since it’s elevated, you get an amazing view, and it is incredibly spacious. The kitchen is particularly outstanding—perfect if you enjoy cooking. I also don’t think I’ve ever seen such a large shower before! The location was perfect for us. We wanted to avoid the eastern part of the island since the lagoon's water quality has reportedly declined over the past decades. The northern area is quite busy and also home to the airport, so I think the west and south are the best choices. A few restaurants are nearby, but I highly recommend renting a car to go shopping and generally get around during your stay. One of the best airbnb stays I've ever had. Tere and family made me feel welcome immediately, and are absolutely fantastic hosts. They gave me great recommendations on where to find good food, the convenience store that's open late, and best things to see and do. The penthouse is cozy and clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are stunning. Enjoy the sunsets from the balcony or the beach, which is a literal stone's throw away. Don't overthink this one. I'd happily stay in the penthouse again, or one of their villas. Meitaki ma'ata, thank you all for an amazing holiday!

Teiana ‘s retreat is peaceful private , lush surroundings definitely a hidden gem . Lynn very responsive host great communication throughout my stay . I highly recommend this beautiful hidden gem .

Julie and I would like to thank Lotu from the moment I booked the communication was first rate . Excellent all the way around! The location is quiet and secluded, luscious mountain view in front of you. Walking up the road and you are surrounded by beautiful mountain views. It's about a 20 minute drive from the main town but there are some restaurants and convenience stores closer than that. The unit was clean and we spent a lot of time on the deck just enjoying the view. Mario and Averil were very responsive to any questions we had. The washer was a plus. Highly recommended!

Great place with a great view on the mountains! Muri lagoon south end was a 15min walk arriving at a nice, quiet cafe right at the beach. Our favorite spot Titikaveka (not even needed to bring a snorkel as you can just wade in and see amazing fish) was close (bus or car). That week in February was very hot and humid and we were cautious with mosquitos, so we closed doors ost of the time which made it a few times warm inside. Other than that the ventilation is great given the construction of the cabin and windows covered with mosquito nets. Amenities of the cabin are great, the bist is amazing! We had a superb week on Rarotonga!

Our stay at Sherri & Ben’s place was absolutely perfect. The house was spotless, super comfortable, and had everything we needed—but what really made our stay unforgettable was their manaakitanga. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome, filled our fridges, gave us freshly halved watermelon and offered us the most flexible check in & our experience. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests, going above and beyond in ways that truly touched us. We stayed in Minar's place for 7 weeks while in Raro for some work. The place was great! Very spacious and clean and the location was perfect. It's a short drive to town and the market and very close to Blackrock for nice beach and snorkeling. The car saved us lots of money on a rental so the price was great! Minar was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Kia Orana Overall we had an amazing stay at Tiare Villa and would recommend it to a family of 4/ 5 at max for a luxurious vacation. I would recommend to double check your check in dates as we arrived a day early we were fortunate that no one had book that day. And we were able to stay a day earlier. Thank you to Sharon. The villa offered breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean. It was also convenient location just a short walk across the road to villis/ Kaps. Next door is New York City amazing coffee/ Ham and cheese Croissant. Go on Sundays they have sweets and savory. Very comfortable and clean 😌. I would definitely be back to stay again. Meitaki Maata

I cant’t recommend Blair’s Place enough, it was a home away from home! During the lead up Blair was extremely helpful, even arranging for the cot we hired to be picked up. Memory and her family were extremely welcoming, meeting us at the airport and showing us the ins and outs of the house along with local knowledge of the island. The location was perfect, quiet beach to enjoy an afternoon swim and watch whales swim by while the sun set over the water. House was spotless and had everything you needed, loved the balcony and BBQ! Thank you for letting us enjoy your slice of paradise, we will certainly be back!
