Arouca : locations de vacances avec terrasse

I hadn’t researched the area well when I booked this home and didn’t realize that we’d be on the other side of the river from Porto. I’m so glad that I didn’t know as I might not have booked and we were thrilled with the location and the home. Being on the river was like watching a movie at all hours of the day and night. We loved the walks across the bridge to Porto and enjoyed the riverside restaurants and activities on both sides. The apartment is quiet and has very comfortable beds which is more important the older we get. There are stairs with the apartment on three levels. We enjoyed our brief times on the terrace and would have spent more time there in better weather. Isa responded quickly when we had a challenge with the washing machine and it was fixed the next day. She also showed me how to use the coffee machine, which produces fabulous coffee. It wasn’t difficult but I needed help. The place has everything needed for a great visit and we highly recommend it.

Location! Location!Location! The place was great, we had seven guests and everyone enjoyed the amenities. However, by far the location was better than advertised. This place was worth the price of admission!

We liked the location of the apartment as it was easily walkable to everything and had restaurants close-by. Renovated, nicely decorated and outside patio a plus. The road itself was blocked due to work, so upon arrival it was very hard to find our way there by car to unload our luggage. It took several attempts and we had to carry our luggage quite far both at checkin and checkout. Maybe a local Uber would figure out a better way to unload closer to the place.

Didn’t realize how close this place was to everything. We parked the car and walked the whole time we were there. Perfect location for travellers looking to explore the city especially if you have a car. Underground parking is included and was awesome. This place literally has everything you need. They thought of it all. Highly recommend

The apartment and a location were perfect. Hugo is a great host, provided all we needed, very responsive and kind. I would for sure recommend staying in Gaia, and this really awesome apartment. Loved Porto and everything about it.

Five stars aren’t enough! We loved the little house. It’s charming and unique and offers all means of comfort you could wish for. We would come back there anytime! The host himself and his parents next door are the sweetest and most caring people. Even when we had questions and problems, they all went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We got support within minutes. I cannot express more how much we recommend this accomodation and how nice Bruno is. Thank you so much, this stay will be remembered 😃

Filipe et Antonio ont été des hôtes de qualite, par leur réactivité et par leur gentillesse. La maison correspond à nos attentes, voir même plus. J' ai trouvé les chambres plus grandes que sur les photos. L extérieur est très sympa et la piscine est très appréciable. J ai vraiment apprécié le service quasi hôtelier: passage tous les 3 jours pour changer les serviettes de bain, un ménage complet pendant le séjour, et le nettoyage du fond de la piscine fréquent. Vraiment au petit soin. La vue est à couper le souffle, mais cela nécessite l utilisation de la voiture pour toutes les sorties, on ne peut pas tout avoir. Je recommande cette location sans hésitation pour des vacances en famille. Virginie

Great apartment, well appointed.

We had the most amazing time at Hugo and Jennys. The whole place is just beautiful. Theres a great view of the river from the terasse and the pool is so nice. The kitchen is well equipped, we found everything we needed to cook and there was plenty of fresh vegetables in the garden that we were welcome to eat. We also highly recommend trying Jennys homecooked meals- it was great being able to eat on site without having to cook ourselves, specially when travelling with young kids. The food also tasted amazing. Our kids absolutely loved the place, pool and garden. Overall we highly recommend staying at Jenny and Hugos, the surrounding langscape is beautiful, the house is incredible and Hugo and Jenny are fantastic hosts. We are definately coming back ❤️

My family and I absolutely loved staying at Rodrigo’s apartment. This is AirBnB at its best. Rodrigo was communicative, accommodating and helpful. The apartment quickly felt like a home to our family during the stay in Portugal. The location is perfect with tons of restaurants and grocery options nearby. As well as some incredible delivery food options! It is also very close to historic Porto. We chose to drive into the city as we were traveling with our 1 year old. Thrilled to find this location and we hope to stay here again.

Nice apartment in a very strategic position. The place is quiet and I adored having breakfast on the terrace every morning. The host was very responsive and friendly, which made the stay even better.
